  1. Reckless reach for the first down in middle of field.
  2. Suddenly seems like this might become an offensive showdown.
  3. I’d like the Bengals so much more without the “Who Dey” Cajun accent in Cincy nonsense.
  4. He’s coaching like playoff Andy Reid who got chased out of Philly.
  5. Can’t wait to hear what adjustments from both teams Romo is talking about. The Chiefs have come out looking awful, not sure what they’ve done.
  6. It looks like old playoff Andy Reid who doesn’t know when to slow down the game for his offense is reappearing.
  7. Bengals offense heated up last drive. I’m sensing KC sputtering.
  8. Frazier and McD basically gave KC the blueprint for tonight. They demonstrated absolutely everything you don’t want to do against Cincy.
  9. Agree, and it’s not just the clock. They were picking up about five yards a carry. One carry might have been enough to get in field goal range. That was frustrating old school Andy Reid stuff there.
  10. Good first half by KC, but that type of good isn’t always good enough. They outplayed Cincy, but left way too many points on the field. Usually that’s the team who takes the loss.
  11. Agree, and they were also getting five yards a run. I know KC isn’t a running team, but everything they were doing worked on the previous drive, then Reid completely switches it up.
  12. Terrible series for KC. Reid went a little crazy with the play calling there.
  13. I’m not saying he is. I’m just making the point not to use this game to say Hurts is overrated. I think he might be, but I don’t think using this game is fair. Playoff wins often take every side of the ball, and plenty of great QB’s pick up playoff wins with help.
  14. I’m not fully on the Hurts hype train, but that’s how you gotta win playoff games sometimes. Brady has been carried through quite a few playoff wins.
  15. Right, and I’ve got nothing against the dude, but Sirianni is a perfect fit for Philly in an almost obnoxious way.
  16. Hurts reminds me of a high end Tannehill when the Titans were contenders. He’s got everything going for him, and does his part to take advantage of a loaded roster.
  17. I can tell that the Eagles O line is a beast.
  18. True, I think all I was getting at in my post is how little hope I have for this movie to contain any redeeming qualities. It seems like a theme that’s been done before, and it needs some element of humor to work. I’m sure they’ll try, and some people will like it, but these aren’t actresses I see making me laugh much. Betty White would have been great in this type of role, if the movie involved anyone but Brady.
  19. You’re not wrong, but I could make the argument this role reduces them. I understand what you’re getting at, but I’m not sure if any male star has been considered a “stud” at 80 plus. Actors of both genders are unfortunately reduced to age related roles after that point in their career. I think what you’re getting at is fair, but I’m not sure if this movie is the best example of empowerment.
  20. The offense and defense were both bad against Cincy. The defense has failed in the playoffs for three straight years, and we occasionally get run over at home in games like the Pats no pass epic. The offense needs improvement, but the defense has been consistently soft, with a scheme that doesn’t work in big games. No one expects the 2000 Ravens, but this isn’t good enough, and we keep doing the same thing. A big time offense can win titles these days, but the defense needs to do something, and they are soft as can be.
  21. Except those characters had humor and charm that I’m not expecting out of this cast. I think it could be alright if that were the case, but I expect it to be nothing more than an easy payday for these actresses. Another fun fact, most of the characters on the Golden Girls were supposed to be in their fifties.
  22. The ticket sales thing might be the number one reason I can’t stand the Bengals. I’m cool with trash talk, but it needs to be rooted in some truth, much like a decent joke. There’s no truth in any of it, as we all know, but even the head coach mentioned it after the game. It’s just sad and pathetic. I’m not sure why the Bengals see themselves as such an underdog. Burrow was the prodigal son who won a National Championship with LSU, much different from Brady’s ascent. Their motivation is all nonsense.
  23. I agree, the Eagles aren’t a great example, because they’ve been better the last ten years than people give them credit for. It’s not like they’re in the championship talk every year, but they’ve mostly had winning seasons.
  24. Mr. McClappy’s Opus.
