  1. QB’s would never do that kind of thing back in the day. There’s no consequence from the opposition anymore.
  2. If Bill wants Jones to be his QB, he should give him a chance to throw on this drive.
  3. Just be thankful for Allen, that’s the real reason we aren’t playing for field goals.
  4. Yep, the Bears only chance is to run the ball well, settle for field goals, and hope Mac Jones is awful.
  5. Why are the Pats starting Jones if they aren’t sure how long he can play? Belichick is wearing blinders if he can’t see that both Zappe and Jones are subpar starters. You’d go with the subpar QB who has the hot hand, and right not that’s Zappe. Poor Bill might really think he has a franchise QB in Mac.
  6. Is there a betting line on how long it takes fans to boo Mac Jones?
  7. Tight score now, but watching these teams turned into watching paint dry. I feel the same.
  8. I’m a Tua critic, but he doesn’t attempt throws he isn’t capable of on a regular basis. Fitz would think he’s Brett Favre with a ten point lead in the fourth, only to throw the game away. Tua has game manager ability he can use to help his team win.
  9. Pickett needs to use his legs more. His best asset at this point.
  10. It’s amazing that the people who typically discover this last is the team themselves.
  11. Exactly, I just posted the same thing while you shared your thoughts. Nothing about Tua is great, you see it in some of these poor throws, but he knows how to execute this offense.
  12. I think McDaniel and Tua are a great fit as a QB/Coach combo. The coach knows exactly how to play to his QB’s strengths. Tua is in the perfect offense for his abilities. The hospital ball to Mostert and the last throw to Hill demonstrate he doesn’t have elite arm talent imo, but the scheme is great for him.
  13. It was a huge statement, but the AFC is that much better than the NFC. I think a lot of AFC teams could clobber the “best” NFC teams.
  14. I don’t know if Tomlin has the patience for a young QB. He’s used to winning. I wouldn’t be shocked if Trubisky is heard from again this season. The Steelers are trash regardless, but I’m curious to see how Tomlin handles Pickett.
  15. I’m glad Steelers fans are excited about Pickett. Nothing about him would make me feel confident. He looks like an extra on Joe Dirt.
  16. He’s the GOAT, but I’m tired of his drama. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but he seems to love it. He’s spent this entire season looking angry and depressed. If you have stuff to deal with, just retire. It’s much less endearing when not getting it done on the field.
  17. Agree, I think his only big struggles came against schools from power conferences with superior talent. People clung to those results as proof he couldn’t do it at the next, obviously not taking into consideration the entire team being overmatched.
  18. Yeah, I’m not saying Josh already had “it”, but I don’t know what anyone could expect. It’s safe to assume that Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, and Andre Holmes were never open. Allen of 2022 is a different player, but I don’t think we see a game like with a legitimate NFL supporting cast.
  19. People forget that Von Miller won a Super Bowl for a washed up Manning and Brock Osweiler.
  20. They used to make the strike zone the size of a dime for the right guys.
  21. The Chiefs get calls like Jeter’s Yankees and Brady’s Pats combined.
  22. Von Miller was the difference between a touchdown and field goal there.
  23. 60+ field goals are becoming more common. That why you need to be aggressive, Frazier’s philosophy is a relic from days when 40 yards was a tough kick.
  24. Gabe Davis is the man, and Josh is incredibly gutsy, the D coaching is the opposite.
