  1. He doesn’t put any air under it. Everything looks like a line drive throw downfield.
  2. The refs aren’t gonna let KC lose today.
  3. Get ready for Mahomes to benefit from a bunch of flags.
  4. With a name like Bo Nix this guy might be a better Dukes of Hazard character than QB.
  5. Looks like it’s gonna be up to Bo Nix. The NFL has a QB problem imo. How many QB’s are actually good minus the fake hype?
  6. I remember back when 8-2 truly indicated a team was good. It seems more common for teams to compile wins without being a real contender. Sadly, in no world is this Broncos team at the level of this Chiefs team.
  7. Obviously rooting against KC, but never been a big Sean Payton fan, seems like a strange dude.
  8. This is true, but I have yet to watch an impressive Nix game, and I thought Payton was an offensive genius who could match wits with Spagnola a little better.
  9. I hear Bo Nix is good, and I’m not doubting, but I always watch games where I’m not impressed at all.
  10. Looks like Allen listened to everyone accusing him of becoming a Hollywood schmuck.
  11. We got bailed out. I hate the play call.
  12. I laughed at the nostalgic Gabe Davis move, but you can tell Davis and Allen are on the same page. You don’t sense that with Coleman at all.
  13. I think punting was a bad move for Tampa. I don’t care where they were on the field.
  14. I got in for $200, and must have been lucky to find them on the secondary market at the right time. I viewed it as a once in a lifetime opportunity, as I can’t travel too far to a see a concert. I love music, and have to set limits to stop myself from spending too much. There’s nothing like live music, but these large events can also be a hassle. It sometimes makes you regret spending too much. Traffic was poorly managed, some arena staff seemed miserable, but the show itself was great, and well worth it. I’m just glad I didn’t spend too much more.
  15. I was tired scanning thread titles. I really thought this was something about AC/DC. Consider me disappointed.
  16. My thoughts exactly when I heard this. It seems like poor management to go from being content with the wide receiver position in the offseason to benching your second year receiver. These things don’t typically happen over night. There should have been concerns and more urgency.
  17. Yeah, I think a lot of people consider the Beatles one of the few bands to quit at the right time. Longevity is a strange beast in rock/pop. These artists earn a lot of money, but it doesn’t seem to increase GOAT status. The Stones are a good example, I really enjoy some of their recent albums, but the average fan probably couldn’t name a song less than 35 years old, at least. I’m more of bluesy rock fan as well, but I can’t help but believe you’re going to hear songs like Yesterday and In My Life years from now more than anything else from the rock era.
  18. I love the Stones, as I’ve always been a rock guy. I’m actually more likely to listen to the Stones than the Beatles. However, decades from now, the Beatles will be a in a different stratosphere. I think there’s more that appeals to the average person/music fan. The Stones were meant to be rough around the edges, and I think the rock sound will be considered a relic. The Beatles explored more musical styles, and I think the lyrics will hold up better, as they extend beyond drugs, partying, and heartbreak. Classes are already taught about the Beatles music and lyrics, this doesn’t happen with the Stones.
  19. Yeah, it was a great. I kind of enjoy vocal imperfections. The wife drags me to country shows where I hear pitch perfect vocals (lip sync, auto tuned vocals) but real performers never hit all the notes. I thought McCartney sounded great, there’s just a few songs that are challenge for him now. He sounded great on a few of the acoustic tunes.
  20. You’ve got McCartney at KeyBank and Wicked at Shea’s tonight. Seems unnecessary to create more congestion downtown by scheduling something completely random at a randomly dumb time.
  21. My worry is that the Pats are a better team than the Chargers, and Vrabel is an excellent coach. I think Harbaugh might be overrated and washed.
  22. You’re right, and maybe I have revisionist history. People will always complain, but I’d like to think I was fine with a “one dimensional” Allen led passing game. That’s what you do with an elite QB. People seemed to forget about Diggs in those years. Josh is incredible, but Diggs was a huge part of his ascent, and somehow people acted like Josh had no help those years. Now he doesn’t. Overall I agree, it’s easy to forget Daboll’s frenetic offense. I just think there needs to be a middle ground between that and “everybody eats”.
