  1. I think they’re still a really good team. Divisional matchups are tough, and the Ravens have a tough AFC defensive team. The Ravens are playing ball control offense, but still haven’t forced a Bengals punt. A Bills/Bengals game would be a total offensive extravaganza imo.
  2. Wonder if that applies to Mahomes and Brady? 😂
  3. I’m not a homer that’s hurt by it, but NBC loves NY Giants playoff wins. That’s always going to steal the spotlight, especially when it’s an upset.
  4. I’m thinking the Ravens don’t have any receivers they trust on slants or quick outs in that spot with a low end backup QB making the throws. They take a one point lead into the half, which sure beats a turnover.
  5. Blame the play calls all you want, but they don’t have anyone who can get open in the red zone.
  6. Tough spot for Ravens forced to throw. They have nothing at receiver.
  7. I know, hoping we don’t make the same mistake with Shakir. I love his potential, but we seem to prefer everyone else.
  8. Bad offensive series, but we have high standards for Josh. Our defense has given up 31 to Skylar Thompson, that’s an issue.
  9. I’m still annoyed with Edmunds missed tackle on Ahmed.
  10. This problem should have been solved after KC last season.
  11. They have, I’m just thinking something like that screen to Hill would have been a bette third and long call.
  12. The Dolphins throwing on 3rd and 19 with Skylar Thompson and a lead in Buffalo was an incredible gift. What stupid Miami coaching.
  13. People are getting unreasonably nervous. Anything can happen, but the Buffalo Bills themselves are the only team capable of making this a loss. We’d need to have a total meltdown, in which case there’s greater issues to discuss moving forward. I’m feeling good about this.
  14. I couldn’t agree more, it’s not about being stubbornly conservative or aggressive, coaches need to have a feel for the game. I lean towards being aggressive, and don’t like to criticize aggressive play calling, regardless of the outcome. However, there’s times when aggressive coaching doesn’t make sense. That’s what’s gotten lost over the past few years. There’s no mathematical formula that can accurately predict wins or losses, but I assume a run heavy offense with a huge lead significantly decreases the odds of a comeback. The clock is a big part of the game, and limited time makes comebacks impossible, yet coaches don’t seem to get it.
  15. Another crazy comeback in a season that had its share. The Jags deserve credit, but it also speaks to the low quality of play we’ve seen. It takes a lot of mistakes to give up that sort of lead. There’s too much bad coaching in this league, and we’re seeing the results. Teams don’t even attempt to control the clock with big leads, and this stubborn insistence on running a specific system is resulting in big comebacks.
  16. Bosa still whining. This Chargers team has a lot of loser mentality players.
  17. That’s fair, but if I’m an offensive line coach, I’ll risk those penalties, and coach up my guys to hold him more often after seeing this game. Creating a tantrum and getting him out of sorts is worth it.
  18. Seems like it wouldn’t be tough to get in his head and knock him off his game though.
  19. This needs to happen in the NFL. There’s a strong European soccer vibe going on in the NFL these days.
  20. Going to the Super Bowl with Matt Ryan is looking more impressive each day as well.
  21. Go Seahawks! Is it strange that I almost resent the 49ers for being contenders with a rotating cast of subpar QB’s?
