    It’s also going to get crazy when they have to pay their guys. I know every team with expensive QB’s have this issue, but Bengals ownership is notoriously cheap. Burrow will continue to be great, but I’m not sure about this team over time.

    Some people are just letter of the law types, so the NFL can justify it, but I agree. I’m fine with the flag if it’s blatantly out of bounds, but the first two steps out with a light shove just isn’t enough in that situation for me.

    Technically that was a late hit, but the contact was minimal, and Mahomes fabricated a bit. He also just got out of bounds. I guess I’m old school, but refs used to lighten up in crucial moments. I’m surprised how many of us like the refs deciding the game.

    Way more ticky tack call then these announcers want us to think. That’s over the top in such a huge spot imo.

    He’s coaching like playoff Andy Reid who got chased out of Philly.

    Can’t wait to hear what adjustments from both teams Romo is talking about. The Chiefs have come out looking awful, not sure what they’ve done.

    Bengals offense heated up last drive. I’m sensing KC sputtering.

    Frazier and McD basically gave KC the blueprint for tonight. They demonstrated absolutely everything you don’t want to do against Cincy.

    Agree, and it’s not just the clock. They were picking up about five yards a carry. One carry might have been enough to get in field goal range. That was frustrating old school Andy Reid stuff there.

    Good first half by KC, but that type of good isn’t always good enough. They outplayed Cincy, but left way too many points on the field. Usually that’s the team who takes the loss.

    Agree, and they were also getting five yards a run. I know KC isn’t a running team, but everything they were doing worked on the previous drive, then Reid completely switches it up.

    Terrible series for KC. Reid went a little crazy with the play calling there.

    I’m not saying he is. I’m just making the point not to use this game to say Hurts is overrated. I think he might be, but I don’t think using this game is fair. Playoff wins often take every side of the ball, and plenty of great QB’s pick up playoff wins with help.

    I’m not fully on the Hurts hype train, but that’s how you gotta win playoff games sometimes. Brady has been carried through quite a few playoff wins.
