Good play taking what they easily gave up.
-
The best part is that he wasn’t viewed as a pure runner coming out of FSU, he was supposed to be pass catching RB.
-
Cook’s drops are a problem.
-
We’re terrible at preserving timeouts.
-
Davis doesn’t make that play, just saying.
-
McD starting to get soft on defense. I’m officially concerned now. These are the situations where this team has caved all season. It’s time for Josh to show what he’s all about now.
-
Yeah, Allen hasn’t been good, but so many Davis defenders are strange to me. He makes constant mistakes, and often demonstrates awful coordination. Now he’s tripping on his own feet in the AFC East title game, exactly what I want out of my number two receiver.
-
It wasn’t, but tripping on his own feet is a bad look for a dude who makes mistakes on a regular basis.
-
Bad play call against that defensive look, but must have planned four downs.
-
Shakir continuing to contribute is huge moving forward.
-
Ugh, Josh
-
McD’s defense is playing great against Tua. That’s why those type of Josh turnovers are so brutal, three points would have been really good in that spot.
-
I rarely blame Josh, but that was just epically dumb. He looked much better this so far, but that’s the type play that costs us.

Week 18 - Around the NFL thread (all but Titans Jags game)
SirAndrew replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hurts has really regressed, and I’m surprised by how much. I’m not shocked by Sirianni being exposed as a mediocre coach though. He doesn’t come across as the most level headed guy imo. I think the team reflects that. -
Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME
SirAndrew replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get your logic, but I’d prefer Indy or Houston. I know Pittsburgh isn’t great, but Tomlin is a playoff experienced coach. They have defensive players who could give Josh a tough time. I’m typically a “you just need to beat who play” type guy. That being said, if we can’t beat those teams in the first round, we aren’t getting far anyways. I’m just ready to bring on the playoffs. -
I agree, there is some luck involved, but QB in the modern NFL holds a more significant role in the outcome of the game. The 90’s were a different era with guys like Marino and Kelly. Those players won a lot of games, but it was also possible to neutralize them in the playoffs. That was an era where defense could rough up the passer, and play very physically against receivers. Modern rules are setup to help QB’s succeed. The NFL wants elite QB’s in the Super Bowl. In todays NFL, it’s fair to ask how great a QB is if they don’t have a title. I don’t mean this as a comment on Josh, as he has time, but more about determining greatness when looking back at a career. Players from the 90’s and early eras should be assessed differently.

Does Tua Tagovailoa have a "Big Game" problem? (great article)

I don’t know if he does, but I guess we’re about to find out. -
Any Predictions For Today? Here Are Mine.......

Washington kept Texas in it. Penix was shredding the defense on several drives, but then Washington called three straight run plays, one series resulted in a turnover on downs and the other a field goal. I was worried it might cost them the game. Washington deserves this victory, but a couple series almost cost them. You got to know when you’ve got the hot hand. Penix was unstoppable most of the game, only his own coordinator could stop him. -

Quite extensive injury history, I’m not sure if that’s it, but I would be concerned. QB’s are tough to find, it’d take that risk in the first round though. Besides that, I have nothing as to why he’s not rated higher. -

Penix has been great, but the Huskies receiver duo of Polk and Udunze are going to be good NFL players as well. Washington needs to close out this game by getting the ball back in those guys hands, stop messing around with runs and short passes. -
I actually feel bad for Milroe. I know he isn’t great, but this isn’t the same type of Bama team they’ve had in the past, yet Milroe will take a large share of the blame. Bama got pushed around tonight, that never happened in the past.
-
Bama always finds a way to pull off miracles. I’ll believe a Michigan win once I see it.
-
Why was he fielding that punt? You’d think the coaches would have just told the return man to hope for an end zone bounce.
-
To be fair, Marvin Harrison Jr was the only reason any Big Ten team could throw downfield this season, and Milroe has just been awful too.
