I realize the Jets have many problems, but their social media posts are cracking me up. They’re saying it was never the QB all along, yes you have problems, but it doesn’t negate the fact that Wilson is awful, and Boyle is an all time low end NFL starter. Yes Jets fans, QB is a major problem.

I’m hoping Rodgers comes back. This team might be enough to convince him to retire. Then we won’t have to hear about the Jets for awhile.

Yeah, I think Rodgers is toast and the talent on the Jets offense was extremely overrated.

Unbelievable that the starting QB’s in NY are Boyle and DeVito.

Yeah, after a questionable third down play call, kicking the field goal was a solid choice we don’t see enough of these days. Coaches love analytics, but the opponent matters. If the Jets defense happens to be on today, don’t give away easy points against a team who can’t score.

This game hasn’t been particularly close, but I’ve enjoyed watching, we’ve seen some quality plays today. I don’t think halftime show choices have as much to do with gender as it does age. I’m not “old”, but I didn’t even know who Jack Harlow was.

I used to hate how conservative coaches were on fourth down, now I think they’ve become too aggressive.

Why isn’t the league pressuring Washington to build a new stadium?

Lucky bounce for Denver. They’ve been blessed in recent weeks. Let’s see if Russ can actually put six on the board.

The Sean Payton situation will be interesting in Denver. He came back to be with a ready made contender. Is he willing to rebuild with a new QB in Denver? Wilson is obviously toast.

I could also see him retiring, because he has a franchise he can legitimately blame, while not admitting to being old and injured.

The NY media is going to have a field day with this benching. It’s fully earned from Wilson, but Saleh won’t be in NY next year.

I think you’re right, and some people on this board complained we weren’t throwing underneath, but I don’t think that’s actually been true. We’ve made a point to become a short passing offense recently. I don’t have an issue with that, as long as we mix in some deep throws. The national media “experts” continue to claim Allen does nothing but throw downfield, because that’s the pre existing narrative imo.

I hope we’ve conquered the Jets demon. I don’t care about Saleh and his stupid defense. We let Allen’s one bad game against the Jets change the way we play offense this season. The dude had a bad game, we didn’t need to become a dink and dunk offense. Really liking what I’m seeing today.

That’s exactly what I want to see. The short passing game is great, but mixing in some downfield stuff is also important. We’ve abandoned that too much. The play to Shakir was the Buffalo offense I remember.

I like the game Brady has called, but I’d love to see something downfield from Allen this drive. That part of his game needs to return.

Harty makes really poor return decisions.

Brady started out rough, but looked like a good player caller much of the half. I wasn’t impressed with the end of the half though.

Aaron Rodgers was never going anywhere but the retirement home with that offensive line. The media just wanted NY to succeed so badly, they couldn’t help but fabricate the Jets talent.

Good job making Wilson look like Wilson on that drive.

I also think the screen play to Diggs has been figured out by opponents, it’s way overused.

Those were three straight up bad play calls imo.

The Steelers need to look for Pickett’s replacement this offseason ASAP. That’s a really good team if they had a QB.

I think people forget the networks that televise football are part of the entertainment world. Everything about the entertainment world is phony these days, from the way people look to the authenticity of everything we’re being told. Music is hardly legitimate anymore, as far as hearing an actual human performance. It’s all about image, and I don’t condone the behavior, but the business itself has created this monster.
