  1. Elam looking quite low effort today, I know it’s not the regular season, but that was awful.
  2. 2017-2022 felt like incredibly positive seasons to me. I speak for myself, but whenever I’m negative about the Bills, it’s due to the possibility that Josh Allen becomes the greatest QB of all time to never appear in a Super Bowl. The endless quest for defensive lineman in multiple drafts, and refusal to draft more than one WR a season has left the offense in a tough spot.
  3. The amount of yes answers is ridiculous. Cook might not be a superstar, but he contributes to this team. He’s an important part of this offense, like it or not. A day two draft choice might not even be a starter. Apparently many of us want another corner or defensive lineman.
  4. I think the Steelers made a mistake not drafting another QB this year also. I realize they didn’t great draft position, but teams without a QB should always acquire one in the draft until they find their guy. Going with proven failed QB’s rarely works out.
  5. Exactly, Josh Allen on the 49ers beats KC imo. Instead, he’ll face on uphill battle just to carry his team to the playoffs.
  6. I’m not trying to overreact to the backup QB position, but wow, Trubisky is really bad.
  7. Playoffs? Yes, and we all know why, but legitimate contender? No
  8. I’m actually really excited for this season because the element of mystery. Super Bowl expectations were fun, but there’s an inevitable disappointment with that type of season. People forget that dynasties such as Manning’s Colts and Roethlisberger’s Steelers had down seasons while they retooled. My only fear is how easily those teams drafted playmakers for their QB. We have yet to prove we’re able to do so on a regular basis.
  9. That’s why Trubisky’s a backup.
  10. Tasker being incoherent. I’m quite sure McD planned one quarter for Allen.
  11. We need to clean up those inside pressures this year.
  12. That’s what I want to see from Samuel.
  13. Williams already looks like a guy who makes good choices with the ball.
  14. Yeah, you have to be able to visualize yourself accomplishing the task. Meaning people such as golfers, bowlers, and kickers need to have the mental image/confidence of proper release, follow through and everything else the task entails. Once you start overthinking those things you’re toast.
  15. I’ve grown to enjoy both games equally, but the Winter Olympics are definitely easier to follow. There’s just too much going on during the summer games. A lot of my favorite summer sports don’t get much coverage. I really burn out on the endless swimming coverage during the first week of the summer games. I start to enjoy it more once track and field begins.
  16. I agree with what you’re saying, and I appreciate the concept. I just wonder if Brady needs more experience before he pulls off this system “without positions”. Having an elite playmaker outside QB really helps a young OC. My skepticism has to do with the fact that I saw conservative old school offense from Brady last season. The league is headed toward offensive players with less defined roles, but we were so Josh oriented under Brady, I have yet to see what that looks from him.
  17. This is basically coach speak for not having a number one receiver. It might work out just fine at that position, but I don’t think a coach with a clear number one says that.
  18. I also call bull on the fact she can sing to begin with. I agree she was on something, but most of today’s pop/country stars can’t sing without a bunch of fake stuff going on anyway. She has a valid excuse to cover that now.
  19. I think the demographic UB draws is part of the issue. You’re not going to get these Long Island students to care about college football. College football just isn’t part of the culture. That’s why some of the smaller southern schools draw good numbers. UB just doesn’t have the students who are going to care, and it hurts attendance.
  20. Agree. I enjoy being able to watch college football in Buffalo. Overall it’s been a good experience when I’ve attended games. I just wish MAC football had a better atmosphere. It doesn’t seem like these MAC schools care much about their team. They lack the college football experience.
  21. I loved watching Bret Favre, Peyton Manning, and Terrell Owens most. I also loved Moss with the Vikings, but the Pats time ruined it for me.
  22. I never criticize Allen, and I don’t want him to ever change. However, you’re correct. It’s not what Mahomes does better, it’s what Mahones doesn’t do. Allen can win a title, and I wouldn’t take anyone else. He can be great in his own right. The difference is you’re not going to see Mahomes fumble at the one yard line trying to ice the game like Allen against the Vikings. I don’t even like saying that, but that is the difference, although I think Allen is the better athlete. Everything about Allen might be better, but mistakes separate the two.
  23. Do people even care about the Sabres during the regular season anymore? I think this has been far worse than the Bills drought. Maybe it’s because I’m a fair weather hockey fan, but I’ve found that team immensely unlikeable for years. It seems like that team couldn’t care less for the past decade.
  24. Cousins would be very mediocre on this team with our talent. Josh turns water into wine, while Cousins works within the system allowing other talented guys to make plays. Allen is the talented guy on this offense.
