I don’t like that call. I thought they were letting them play. It appears selective as usual in this league.

What a wasted route and catch by Njouku short of the sticks.

Eagle is full of it trying to justify that hit on the sliding QB.

Unreal, using Flacco’s last postseason start to showcase Olympic coverage.

I'd rather the Browns win. One, I think Browns could take down Ravens next week if it comes to that. Two, I would personally rather face the Browns than the Texans next week if it comes to that.
Yeah, the Texans and Stroud have the Cinderella story vibe imo. They look like an up and coming team that could make a surprise run. There seems to be one every season.

Houston should start blitzing more often. Flacco’s not going to withstand any pressure.

He's still in the league?!
I didn’t realize that either, until people started talking up the Browns defense earlier this season.

Out of the loop, who is Gym Shorts again?
Also my god Browns, someone make a tackle

Gym Shorts is getting schooled.

I thought this game might be the dud of the day. Thinking that’s not the case.

Is it common for a pro bowl O linemen to play special teams? I guess I don’t pay much attention to special teams, but it seems strange.

Stroud is the rare player who looks exactly like he did in college, and that’s a good thing.
-
This game might get out of hand. Stroud vs Flacco looking like a mismatch.

Typical Bojangles punt.

The sun on that field is annoying.

Has that ever happened before? And it’s better to give people extra time to prepare than less.
I agree, I just mean I wish they could have moved it to Saturday earlier in the week. I knew that wasn’t going to happen later in the week. You can’t say “there’s a game tomorrow” on Friday. I was just talking from a personal non-government employee prospective about Monday.

I have my own motives, but I wish they had the vision to be more proactive instead of reactive. I would have loved the game at 1pm today. I knew that wasn’t going to happen by yesterday though. Tomorrow works fine, I would have just personally liked the game being today.

Wow that’s incredible how deeply we are in their heads that they think the Bills, of all teams, are getting preferential treatment!
I love how Dolphins fans think we’d want bad weather to stop Tua’s passing attack. We’ve done just fine on perfect days.

If Miami was Buffalo's opponent, for damn sure they would have found a way to get the game in as scheduled.
The heard the chatter about Pittsburgh possibly being successful against them with their running game in the snow.I’ve been reading a lot on Twitter from Steelers and Dolphins like this. Many don’t seem very bright, this goes beyond the Bills. I’m glad they think the NFL wanted 4:30 Monday kickoff.

I have a duffel I kept filled with gloves, hats, rain jacket, etc, so I was ready for any weather condition, even if it changed part way through the game. I suppose I could do the same with a clear bag, but I could not carry as much.
Game would be over in enough time for the night game.
That's my thought also. The state could come out and say no fans, and I'm not sure why they have not done that yet.
Yeah, I don’t understand the mixed messages being given at this point. I’m not commenting on whether the game should happen, but how do declare a state of emergency without moving the game at the same time? Don’t declare the state of
emergency in that case. The ironic part is the storm being on a weekend, the majority of “unnecessary” travel would be for the game. The rest of WNY wants to be home watching.

It sounds like the real snow is supposed to start happening early this evening.
At least the Steelers will be here so the game can be played one way or another.
The amount of snow forecast, 1-2 ft., isn't unmanageable although it'll make parking a PITA and who knows what they'll do with it inside the stadium. Last season's Miami game had unremoved snow, but not that much of it. I thought that was about the limit.
Not sure how much turnout they're going to get for $20/hour to shovel in those horrific conditions in sub-zero windchills, at night too. If I were younger I might do it for $20/hr, a place to sleep, free food, and club level tix.
Anyone know if there are any live cams near the stadium?
You'd think they'd have one, they're not expensive.
The other issue with getting people to shovel is the fact that snow won’t be done at that time. Typically they are shoveling out the stadium after a storm. This will be in the middle of it. I’m not bothering driving out in the snow for a one off $20 hr gig.

And they were probably driving ridiculously fast. If you are going 5mph in a lifted truck with chains as an emergency, you are fine.
Nope, the roads became impassable with zero visibility, and even tractor trailers get stuck. Plenty of truckers have terrifying blizzard stories. You’ve got a shtick going on this topic, and I respect it. I’m not trying to change your beliefs.

What percentage of people drive "proper vehicles"?
I’ve seen plenty of footage from blizzards with hundreds of “proper vehicles” buried and stuck in snow.

That might be it, I’m not seeing a Flacco comeback.
