  1. For some reason I’m really picturing Eli retiring. Just my two cents with no evidence, but he seems like the kind of a guy who could be content letting the game go.
  2. Yeah, what happened to Wentz being the next great one, and Pederson being a genius?
  3. People worry about weak division champs getting home playoff games, I’ll take it a step further. The NFL needs to restructure the way divisions are setup. No one from the NFC East even deserves to be in the playoffs. The four team division with an automatic playoff birth for each champ is an issue.
  4. Great points, and I agree that Daboll’s play calling is very erratic game to game. He seems to go from one extreme to the next. Ultimately, everyone needs to be better. Yesterday was a failure for everyone on offense. It really starts with the oline imo. I’ve been Daboll’s biggest critic, but we’re not going anywhere if we have games where the oline decides to stay home. Our offense will never function with them blocking the way they did yesterday. Even when we attempted to run the ball, we had defenders busting into the backfield two yards behind the line.
  5. This^ I think the Duke love around here is crazy. Whenever we talk about needing a big WR, Duke is mentioned like we have Randy Moss on the practice squad or something. I’m trusting the coaches aren’t seeing much from him to make them believe he can contribute. However, what has Foster or McKenzie contributed ? Even if Duke doesn’t shine in practice, it’s clear the other two guys aren’t very useful, so why not give the big WR more of an opportunity?
  6. Great information. Today was a huge moral victory for the defense imo. It reconfirmed they can shut down the best. I’m ok with preaching the moral victory to the defense, let’s just hope the same isn’t said for the offense.
  7. I think we can slow down any offense in the league. When I look at our chances of winning a game, I simply look at the opposing defense. We stand a good chance of winning games where the opposition defense is weak, regardless of how good their offense is. However, we really struggle to score points against decent defensive teams.
  8. Bad time of the year to ask the postman for anything, you might want to ask Santa.
  9. Love the Clemson/South Carolina reference by Nancy with no mention they competed in practice on the Bills everyday.
  10. We need a playmaker at the WR position, but people also underestimate how difficult it can be to find one. WR’s are notorious for being slow to adjust to the pro game, and many “sure things” never make it. The Ravens passing game is mostly dependent on TE’s, and they have no receivers who strike fear into anyone. I’m all in favor of trying to improve our receiver corps, but I’d also invest in improving this disaster of an oline. These guys get pushed around on a weekly basis, and we’ll never be able to assess Allen or the running game until that is remedied .
  11. Allen is going to be great with a big time WR, and an oline.
  12. Our Oline is a big weak spot, I don’t trust them in big spots at all.
  13. Oline and WR’s need to make a play now. Give Allen a chance
  14. For as bad as the last Allen play was, that was spectacular. I know the PI was lucky, but what a job keeping the play alive.
  15. The entire world saw the pressure coming.
  16. I hope so too, also hoping it doesn’t do the opposite and throw him deeper into this slump.
  17. If you think women in their 40’s are more angry than women in their 70’s, you’ve clearly never been to a Bingo Hall.
  18. I agree, I’d love to hear what players would say. I don’t want to go all Al Bundy sharing my feelings on the topic. I suspect they’d point to the jersey more than anything.
  19. Fair enough, I just mean that I was only debating whether or not his comment is accurate. I believed it to be inaccurate. The other stuff is just not anything I even care to get into. I think we all have fatigue from this type of madness, no matter what side one is on.
  20. You didn’t follow what I said. I never mentioned politics. That’s what everyone else here wants to talk about. I’m simply saying that I don’t agree it’s really hard to see the ball. I find the logic flawed. These guys aren’t blind old men. I just think the comment was dumb.
  21. True, just thinking my high school didn’t have any background, and no one complained about my hand being white. I’m not offended by this guys comment, I just don’t think it makes as much sense as some people do. Skin tone and ball color isn’t generally a big topic in sports, it just seems silly and dumb imo.
  22. But it’s not relevant. I’m not being a PC warrior. It just makes no sense, politics aside.
  23. What is his point though? His point is stupid. Every black QB should be successful based on this dumb logic.
  24. People going to turn this all political on both sides, ignoring the simple fact that the comment is just plain dumb. By this logic no one should have ever seen a baseball coming out of my hands to hit the fastball.
  25. I feel the same, but it’s felt like this locker room had the liveliness of a morgue during the drought years, so I kind of love it.
