  1. I’m really confident we have this game. I don’t see Darnold getting enough going to come back. I’m most interested in what our offense does in the second half. It’s important to see they can function well with a lead, that’s how you beat good teams who are capable of mounting a comeback.
  2. Our run game has been a really small sample, but I’d like to see better run blocking too. The Jets are busting through the center of the line.
  3. Is this the part of the game where we attempt to let the Jets back in it ? I hope not, we need to do more on our next offensive drive.
  4. Exactly, I’m not totally against it. We just need to pick better spots. I like Allen more as a guy you allow to scrabble, as opposed to a ton of called runs.
  5. I have no issue with the results. I just don’t like my QB taking a bunch of hits on called runs. Josh Allen can throw the football. He isn’t an athletic QB with questionable throwing ability. Let him be a pass first QB. It’s just strange to me how Daboll becomes fascinated with a completely different style of play every week. Once again, the results have been good, just not convinced it works against a guy like Belichick.
  6. That’s why I don’t like Daboll. He doesn’t allow his offense to form an identity. We go from being an air raid offense to a smash mouth offense, then a running QB Lamar Jackson offense, and even a balanced offense on occasion. What does he want his offense to be ?
  7. This has been a great half, but I agree. Allen has the arm to be a real QB. There is absolutely no reason to have that many called QB runs in one half. Especially with a DC like Greggo on the other side.
  8. Josh needs to clean up this fumbling nonsense big time.
  9. Yeah, hopefully no more called QB runs in the second half.
  10. Hope Davis can step up this year, Beasley hasn’t impressed me since getting here.
  11. Darnold looking well on his way to bust status.
  12. That’s an amazing play.
  13. Greggo has never had a game plan outside of injuring people. Dude wouldn’t even have a Super Bowl without bountygate.
  14. That Diggs grab is the type of play no one makes last year.
  15. They’ve been far from perfect, and still up big. That’s definitely a good sign.
  16. If he doesn’t get deep balls opportunities, and a decent amount of targets, I think he will have an issue. With that said, everything is going well, so I can’t complain.
  17. I get that, just not a fan of so many QB run calls. The last drive was much better. I want Allen to be Allen, not Lamar Jackson. His arm is way too good to risk his health on a bunch of called runs.
  18. Our D is still great, lets get the offense going.
  19. Five yards throws, and QB runs. We haven’t used a RB yet. Daboll has no sense of a balanced offense.
  20. This is why I don’t like Daboll. We have RB’s and Diggs, so we’re making Allen into a runner ?
  21. Trying to turn Allen into Cam Newton ?
  22. From reading your second paragraph, I see someone here at TBD read the TB12 method.
  23. Exactly, I get his frustration, but there’s no point in questioning consistency or common sense anymore. It’s not going to get Mongo or any of us very far. I’ve found myself happier since I’ve made the choice not to question what makes sense. He’s a football player and competitor, so I understand how frustrating it must be for him. With that said, it’s just the way it is right now.
  24. I’ll agree to disagree on that one. Buffalo fans are often overly sensitive, but you might want to look up information on Bon Jovi’s Toronto group if you don’t believe the team would have moved. It’s all in the past, and I couldn’t care less, but it’s not realistic to say that wasn’t the likely intent. The group even conducted a feasibility study for building a stadium in Toronto. There was plenty of evidence beyond Rogers being involved.
  25. He’d still get another year to prove himself imo. I think he’d be given a break because this team isn’t going 4-12, regardless of how he plays. It’s easy to keep a mediocre performing QB around when his team is posting winning records, and making playoff appearances. It’s also difficult to just replace a guy. They wouldn’t even begin to look at other options until after the 2021 season.
