  1. Yep, and Hill isn’t bailing him out by making plays he normally does.
  2. Mahomes need to get his emotions under control, and settle down on this series.
  3. Maybe, but I’m talking about the Chiefs offense crapping the bed. None of their playmakers are making plays, and they’re making errors they haven’t made all season. That’s what reminds of the Bills in the Super Bowl.
  4. This really does remind me of a Bills Super Bowl, with the Chiefs playing the role of the Bills.
  5. We need to improve the line on both sides of the ball. The SF O line has been the story of this game so far imo.
  6. Hill and Kelce both do that all the time. Luckily, the offense is so talented they are usually able to overcome it.
  7. He’s getting frustrated imo. They aren’t getting the big plays they’re used to, and he tired to force it on third and long. It usually comes so easy for them on offense, it’s easy to understand falling into that trap.
  8. Definitely OPI by the letter of law, but I’m not calling it in the big game. Kittle had his defender beat, and I don’t think the push off prevented the D from making a play. I’m only calling PI in the Super Bowl if it definitively prevents a play from being made.
  9. They don’t trust Jimmy G. Shanahan playing not to lose.
  10. Our defense is Super Bowl caliber. Our offense is filled with guys who fail at their jobs on a regular basis.
  11. I agree, but I’m more struck by watching the push SF’s O line gets. People seem to like our O line, but there are constantly defenders in our backfield. I’m good with drafting a WR, and doing everything it takes to get a decent O line.
  12. I agree. The only big differences I see are: better play calling, better O line play, and no players that hurt the team on offense. We waste too many plays on guys who don’t pull through (ex. Gore’s one yard runs, and Knox’s collection of stops).
  13. Shanahan really does a brilliant job calling games that match his QB’s strengths and weaknesses.
  14. People are mistaken if think Jimmy G is great though.
  15. Is Jimmy G going to get exposed tonight? Great D and Shanahan’s smoke and mirrors can only go so far.
  16. So awesome to Andy Reid go for it on forth down. Maybe he’s finally learned his lesson after all the postseason failure.
  17. I like placing a bet on a SF skill player, but I’d never do the same with a KC skill player. The Chiefs spread the ball around too much, and if Hill, Watkins, Kelce have a big game, I’m thinking the MVP is going to Mahomes.
  18. This^ Even the biggest stars these days out of Nashville wear skinny jeans, flat brimmed hats, and even man Uggs. Brady would fit in just fine. Not picking on Nashville, just saying it isn’t some redneck outpost anymore.
  19. Justin Bieber has also made more money than god. Does that make him a good musician? All personal taste my friend.
  20. That’s true. Three TD’s in week one, and none for the remainder of the regular season.
  21. Point well taken. It just confuses me why Bills tickets have almost no resale value in the second half of the season. That’s the only thing that gives pause to thinking a substantial increase in ticket prices would work. Resale value of all teams with outdoor stadiums in cold climes decrease at that time, but ours drop significantly compared to others. Sure, resale buyers are willing to spend over a hundred for the early season games, and it’s a good profit for many STH’s selling those seats. My question is how much more are STH’s willing to pay at a new stadium ? Those people paying over a hundred early in the season are purchasing single game tickets. A few times a season might not be a big deal for many, but will the STH’s of Buffalo tolerate a huge price increase? I do understand your point. The team profits most from season ticket holders, not single game seat buyers. If STH’s are willing to pay more, then that’s all that matters to the team.
  22. I’m not really for or against a new stadium. I get your point, but I’m not sure building a new football stadium is indicative of people not doing what it takes to make Buffalo great. Countless studies have shown that new stadiums do little to economically benefit the community. They simply benefit the owners on the backs of the taxpayer. I don’t think this an old cynic vs younger generation issue, it’s just a matter of differing economic beliefs.
  23. How much can prices really be increased in Buffalo though? I don’t think anyone has the real answer. I’m skeptical they can increase all that much. Why can’t we sell games out in December, and tickets go so cheaply on stubhub? I think the market for selling tickets to eight games in Buffalo is limited, and price increases won’t help. We’ve all heard it’s because the outdoor stadium, but Green Bay sellout every game. I’ve looked at Packer tickets in December on Stubhub, and they aren’t close to being as cheap as ours. Things like that make me skeptical about a significant price increase working. I hear you, but the NFL just doesn’t care, although they should. They moved a team to a 20K seat soccer stadium just to be in LA. This league jumped the shark long ago. I just don’t understand Goodell’s bullying. Pegula owns the team, what power does Rog have when it comes to what the owner does with his stadium? I’m honestly confused by that, and anyone is welcomed to educate me on it.
