  1. I’m not afraid. Murray might turn out to be a good QB, but he’s not the next great one. Kingsbury is insanely overrated, and will probably be acting in romantic comedy movies for soccer moms in a few years.
  2. Could any random person off the street really be a worse coach than Adam Gase ?
  3. Newton randomly falls down a lot.
  4. I’ve given up on Belichick getting embarrassed, the Jets are even worse than I thought at every phase of the game.
  5. The announcers love their Pats. They’re blaming Newton looking rusty on being out with Covid, instead of Cam being washed up.
  6. Yep, I’d love to Brady and Belichick embarrassed the same week.
  7. Three Gore runs and a first down, who would have thought ?
  8. Sean Payton must be the happiest man on earth right now. He has an excuse to get his boy Taysom out there.
  9. Fair enough, It just seems like NO has handled Brady easily twice, so I don’t see him getting past the Saints. I still like the Seahawks as well. They can’t play defense, but Russell Wilson could out duel Brady. Brady still has his moments of greatness. He also continues to get older everyday, and I’m not buying into the propaganda that he’s the same Brady of old. It wouldn’t surprise me if Brady’s arm is a noodle by playoff time.
  10. Great points. Brady definitely seemed to choose the easier path for the twilight of his career. The Bucs seem to be a media darling Super Bowl pick. You’re correct that the NFC is up for grabs, but the Bucs haven’t looked good in either game against the Saints, and the Bears D handled Brady easily. I’m not seeing much to convince me the Bucs are real NFC contenders, because Brady looked terrible in games against teams they’d face in the playoffs.
  11. Thanks, I thought I’m the only person who sees this. His offense is really basic, and does nothing unique. The dude benefited from being a Steelers coach, and getting a couple good years from Kurt Warner in AZ. It’s also fair to say his leadership skills are questionable. He throws players under the bus, has an acrimonious relationship history with Brown, but was basically forced to reunite with him. There’s not much about him that inspires confidence or says he’s a good leader imo.
  12. Yep, if Brady looks old the second half of the season the media will blame Brown for tearing the team apart.
  13. This, I like my chances closing the game out against a terrible defense more than being able to stop them with our defense. NFL coaches are just incapable of this type of logic.
  14. Maybe more Hispanic voters showed up in 2020 AZ as well. I hasn’t really seen those numbers out yet compared to 2016.
  15. I think it was a case of undervaluing the guys they let go. I’ll admit I didn’t think we had anyone who would be a major loss. When that mistake is made, it’s easy to think you could replace them with anyone. The LB situation was simply an oversight though. The front office should have known that was a weak spot.
  16. I’d settle for a cold hard pretzel out of a bag, but only if it comes from Carolina.
  17. Right, so how do you talk about it without even seeing it again, and determine it didn’t happen. That doesn’t make much sense imo.
  18. Not butt hurt here, although Brady jokes are just funny. It was actually a bad call. Defenders hand was on receivers back before the ball got there.
  19. That’s what I was thinking. You never see them pick that up for anyone outside of NE on close call like that.
  20. Brady’s team still gets the calls.
  21. I absolutely agree, but that roster was also stacked during the Matt Cassell year. This is before Belichick sabotaged himself by being an awful GM.
  22. That’s what I’ve noticed this season, and they’ve overcome that, but sometimes their offense is a mix of excessive running and downfield passing. Brady has still been very good, but I think he could excel even greater in an adjusted version of that offense. Brady has knack of doing that for his OC’s.
  23. Does Arians or Leftwich call plays for the Bucs ? Brady has really carried them this season, but I’m rarely impressed with the play calling, especially with Arians allegedly being another offensive guru.
  24. Belichick has been an awful GM, it’s like he wanted to make Brady’s life difficult.
  25. I’m not convinced anyone would be calling them a contender without Brady on the roster. The NFC is wide open, but Brady automatically gives his team more credit from fans/media than they might deserve for what they really are.
