  1. Elway is great at finding QB busts. I don’t see much I like from Lock
  2. Yeah, he didn’t have a strong leg to begin with. Maybe he lost a few yards from the injury, but he was getting older. The Hauschka hit is going to be the new Trent Edwards concussion. I saw someone mention the league trending towards kickers with stronger legs. I couldn’t agree more, and that trend wouldn’t leave much room for Haushka at any point in his career. He was really good for us, and an important factor in ending the drought. I do wish him the best.
  3. Awesome. I love Josh being able to joke around without worrying about what he say. McAfee is a good interviewer, and his demeanor is great for getting athletes to open up with. AJ Hawk’s cigar smoking always cracks me up. There’s lots of dudes who would look at home smoking a cigar while chatting it up, but Hawk just looks silly.
  4. I agree about the McCarthy hire, but that would mean Jerry Jones admitting to making a mistake. McCarthy isn’t going anywhere because Jerry wants to be right. He can just blame this season on bad luck.
  5. Very true, but I could make an argument that many bad coaches got hired through riding the coattails of great players. The real joke was the Jets hiring Gase. It was clear that Manning made the guy after he failed in Miami. Why would anyone hire him after that failed stint ? There should have never been another big unearned payday.
  6. I don’t give Gase credit for much, but at least he has slightly more self awareness than Matt Patricia.
  7. Definitely the winner. I could go with the more rare “Money can’t buy love” also.
  8. I was surprised McD somewhat swore. I saw him as Phillip Rivers style cussing. I expected “ I love the swagger by golly”.
  9. I’m really missing fans more this game than any I’ve watched. I’d love to hear the Philly fans boo Wentz and chant Hurts name.
  10. Nah, Brady is basically a bully. He has the guts to stand up to nobody’s like Foles and Goff, but doesn’t have the courage to do the same to the new golden boy.
  11. I find the whole pointing to where you got hit to ask for flags extremely annoying, but maybe I’m way too old school.
  12. That is the rule, but the reality is different when you watch the games and see how it’s called. That’s a Mahomes call imo.
  13. The Brady worship when he is clearly a shell of his former self is just ridiculous.
  14. Agree. I’m not a fan of Arians outdated offense. However, I’m tired of the excuses for Brady. He’s finally past his prime, and he’s just not great anymore. Romo’s in the booth talking about Brady like he hasn’t declined, and it’s all the offensive system. He didn’t look so great in New England last season either. That was his system.
  15. Bosa is a beast, not a guy I want on the other side of called QB runs when my QB is a capable passer.
  16. He’s a proficient enough passer where he doesn’t called runs to succeed anymore. I’m fine with scrambles, but he can win as a pocket passer. It’s a well known fact that running QB’s longevity is limited. Why do that to Allen when he doesn’t need it to succeed the way Cam Newton did ?
  17. There were a few years where I wished we could have played without any of our QB’s. Glad those days are over.
  18. Brady isn’t what he used to be imo, but Arians isn’t doing anything to help him play to his current strengths. Brown and Evans could be beasts underneath, but Arians insists on a deep passing game. He also loves running in obvious situations like first down, putting the team into long downs. I think Arians is an outdated offensive coach.
  19. I wish they’d completely drop the Detroit/Dallas tradition, and just attempt to schedule a couple good matchups.
  20. Brady gets a free pass, he might have dementia at this stage of his career.
  21. Arians keeps sticking with first down runs, and putting his QB with a worn out arm in long downs. I don’t get it.
  22. Brady makes some really dumb throws late in his career.
  23. Yeah, the whole short underneath game of Brown looked quite unstoppable. I’m not sure why they got away from it. Daboll used to drive me crazy, but I’ve been pleased with him this season. Arians reminds me of how bad it could really be.
