  1. Tua looks a check down QB. I don’t see him as a guy who will consistently be able to push the ball downfield.
  2. I agree, I don’t think he necessarily makes Josh better, or life easier for Beasley and Diggs. This offense is clicking perfectly right now. People making the argument it could be better are slightly misguided imo. However, I think saying that Brown coming back doesn’t improve the offense is missing a point that hasn’t been mentioned yet. We are about to make a playoff run. This offense is likely to hit a rough spot at some point. It’s possible a team might figure out a way to stop Diggs and Beasley. If that happens in the playoffs we could be making an early exit. Brown adds another weapon who could allow the offense to continue functioning on all cylinders if Diggs and Beasley are shutdown. Having a dangerous third option on the field is huge if that were to happen. It could be the difference between a Super Bowl run and playoff loss. Gabe Davis is developing into a good player, but no defense is afraid of him. Brown is a deep threat who keeps teams honest.
  3. Watching Notre Dame get blown out in a game they don’t belong in is a holiday tradition. I really have nothing against ND, but the NCAA constantly goes for the big TV ratings with them, and it’s quite apparent. I really don’t think the college playoff is anymore exciting than the old national championship game format. College football is so top heavy, even with just a four team format you’re always including someone who doesn’t stand a chance.
  4. Lock should be afraid to throw at anyone, the guy is another Elway trash bin find.
  5. I love having a reliable guy like Diggs, I also hate using Beasley as a screen WR.
  6. Thanks, I love all the people who are miserable about health care workers showing any signs of enjoying life. It’s a real blast going to work everyday wondering when it’s your turn to test positive. Dancing on break doesn’t make the pandemic any less real. I grew around several baby boomers who had kids they brought home from the Vietnam War. Does that mean the war was any less real ? I don’t think so. I don’t care what anyone thinks about this pandemic, and I rarely venture into PPP, but I see this narrative that it’s “fake news” because of Tik Tok videos to be very frustrating to me.
  7. 13-3 would be nice, and I’m really hoping to see the starters every game. I hate resting starters before the playoffs when you don’t have a team who’s experienced with deep playoff runs. Allen and this offense seem to be very momentum driven, and I want to carry some into the playoffs.
  8. Knox looks like me when I take something out of the oven and forget the oven mitts.
  9. I like Bojangles when he isn’t shanking punts.
  10. Gabe has made some really nice plays that have earned him the benefit of doubt, but I’d really like to see him step up to be more consistent. He has a great opportunity playing in this offense.
  11. Good tough runs, that’s how you slow the pass rush.
  12. Another great stop, but Edmunds sure can’t make a play for anything
  13. Exactly, he might be fine, it’s just the start of this game. However, he definitely needs to settle down. You can tell he’s playing very frenetic.
  14. Ugh, looking like a rattled Josh night.
  15. I’m feeling a Colinsworth Watt bromance about to resume tonight.
  16. Even the throw looked like a guy who couldn’t care less.
  17. Cam is such an awful passer at this point in his career, it’s unbelievable.
  18. It hasn’t been since we had a certain duo of twin brothers where I saw the words “fat idiot” used on this board.
  19. Yep, dude hates rookies so much that he actually started Nathan Peterman over Josh Allen once upon a time.
  20. Exactly, I think I’ve read we have the highest average wind speed of any NFL stadium. That doesn’t even take into account the fact the stadium is below ground level, and the winds swirl in very mysterious ways. Our stadium deals with winds that no QB could possible throw in at times. Josh has yet to play a great game in those type of conditions as well. Everyone knows he has a strong arm, but there are times that isn’t even enough.
  21. Yep, something happened about when I turned 30 where cold outdoor games were no longer fun. It had been years since I attended a game, and I had fond memories of cold weather games. The actual experience felt much different years later.
  22. I’ve been anti-dome for a long time, but I see how the league is changing. You need an elite QB to win games, and ours looks like a potential great. Bad weather does nothing but neutralize every advantage the team with an elite QB has. I just wish it didn’t have to be a downtown stadium, I simply wish the stadium in OP had a dome.
  23. I never thought I’d say I trust a Bills coaching staff, but I trust this one. I haven’t always agreed with everything, but I trust they understand their roster. Yeldon can’t be doing anything special in practice, or I’d assume they’d give him a chance. There isn’t anything special about Yeldon, it’s just a case of the guy on the bench being the popular one.
  24. Yeah, it’s a long season. Talented teams often hit rough spots once they get to this point in the season, but talent always wins out. They’ll find a way to turn it up come playoff time.
  25. Fair enough, I’ll admit my mistake. I really didn’t pay much attention to him in Seattle. He was very accurate with us, but it seemed like his leg strength was fading with us prior to the injury. I didn’t realize that his 50+ yard field record involved a few 55+ kicks as well. I assumed they were all in the 50-55 range, and I know that many of younger kickers are easily kicking from 60+. Hauschka did indeed have a strong leg at one point, but I’m still never going to blame it all on the hit. Bad take on my part, I can admit to that. I just didn’t remember Hausch ever having a big leg for some reason.
