  1. Unfortunately, it’s not going anywhere because it’s all about the money.
  2. Yes, to people who actually understand football, wild card weekend will be something to just ignore, and they’ll just tune in when quality playoff football really begins.
  3. Spongebob probably is a better QB than Trubisky.
  4. It’s been awhile since I’ve been enthusiastic about wild card weekends. I think quality football begins in the division round. Adding an extra game does nothing to add intrigue for me.
  5. I just think they’ve never had enough sustained success to attract bandwagon fans who aren’t raised in the Chicago area. I’m sure in the mid 80’s there were people sporting Bears stuff around the country, but that success never reappeared. Teams like the Cowboys had runs in the 70s and 90s, while the Steelers are always in the mix. That’s how you get fans across the country with no ties to the team.
  6. Never use the Bears in an attempt to introduce football to someone. Literally at no point in their history have they been a team I’d use to showcase the sport.
  7. I think that’s fair. Brees and Rivers have similar arm strength at this point imo. I’ve been impressed with how Rivers has been able to work with his arm, while I think Brees has struggled to make plays downfield with his poor arm. Rivers seemed to connect on some deeper throws that Brees doesn’t have in his repertoire anymore.
  8. I don’t have much interest in this one. I’m not sure if I can stick with the second half. This three game wild card thing is too much. I’m good for two games in a day. The Bears don’t stand a chance, and Brees is so washed up it’s not funny.
  9. Agree. Snow hurts us more than the Steelers or Ravens. Lamar’s running and Big Ben’s five yard passing game can go on in a snow storm. Our passing game suffers more.
  10. Yes, a lot of people seem afraid of the Ravens around here, but I like that matchup better for us. I don’t think the Titans are built for long term success, but I also think we’re a bad matchup against them. I’d be happy if they get knocked out. Henry scares me against our D, and I trust that McD and Frazier can force Jackson out of his comfort zone.
  11. The end of the Titans reign, if that’s what you could call it, was very predictable. Teams with an average QB who ride their running back to wins aren’t build for long term success in this league.
  12. The internet is sure the wrong place to be with thin skin 😆 , but on a serious note, I agree.
  13. It might help keep me out of trouble as well. Some posts aren’t worth responding to, but I feel the need to disagree more strongly than “meh”, which is more like whatever. That way you can express a disagreement without taking anything too far.
  14. I agree, but I don’t think people realize how good Josh was his first two seasons. The stats weren’t there, but he was a playmaker who had nothing to work with on offense. Guys like Blaine Gabbert never looked good. People underrate what Josh did his first two seasons.
  15. Definitely should be a touchdown if the NFL wants to remain consistent with their review logic.
  16. The media has been all over Brady this season, but every time I watch the Bucs, they play some sloppy football. They don’t deserve to win this one. Arians seems like such a weak head coach with no leadership skills.
  17. Bucs are going to be out next round. They can’t even put away this awful WFT.
  18. Gisele probably controls it.
  19. Logan Thomas would be elite level on the Bills.
  20. I think I completely erased each year from my memory up to 2018. 2000-2017 is a big blank space when it comes to Bills memories. It seems like Shady was here more like a year to me, opposed to his actual four seasons with us.
  21. Yes it is, I don’t trust anything about Brady. He also has a better hairline than when he was rookie. There’s a lot going on with him.
  22. Referring to how it happened in the past with the Seahawks winning a playoff game. There haven’t been many teams with losing records in the playoffs, but I wouldn’t want to play the underdog who has nothing to lose and everyone mocked. With that said, WFT doesn’t look like they have a chance.
  23. Playing these teams with a losing record in the playoffs is dangerous imo. They hear how they don’t belong all week (which they don’t imo), but come out with something to prove imo.
  24. I really don’t like this analytics nonsense. Kick the extra point early in the game.
  25. Yes, if Wilson doesn’t have success chucking the ball downfield to Metcalf, they’ll have issues.
