  1. My wife told me the same about the man bun, so we’ll definitely go with that.
  2. Beasley is such an amazing route runner, and this season his hands are so much better. He’s just an all around great player right now.
  3. Exactly, Daboll becomes irrelevant when Josh makes big plays.
  4. Still true, Beasley and Allen just made a nice play.
  5. Daboll’s game plan seems a little stale today. The Cards know what to look for.
  6. I feel confident saying he’s been slightly overrated his entire career. His elite numbers really speak to how you can’t compare numbers of past greats to current players. In the modern NFL countless QB’s are going to put up all time great numbers, but it takes more than just the numbers to be great these days.
  7. Many QB’s had late career revivals, but it does seem wrong. Nothing about Tannehill ever looked like a guy who was going to be a good QB. I realize that Miami wasn’t a great situation, but it never seemed like he had the “it factor” at all.
  8. NFL halftime show selections have gotten to the point where it seems like a bunch of old people selecting someone they think youngsters find hip, but they actually badly miss the mark.
  9. I’m not the guy to get worked up about the media doubting the Bills. GMFB has always given this team a lot of credit, so I don’t mean this as a complaint. However, I did find some interesting misinformation in that segment. You’d think Kyler Murray was the QB of more than a 5-3 team, and we actually did very well shutting down Lamar last season. They discussed how poorly our D performed against Jackson, but we were actually one of the more successful teams at slowing him. Additionally, the Seahawks, even without a defense were thought of being better than the Cards. I’m not sure how a win over the Cards should stop anyone from doubting us. The win over the Seahawks should have been able to do that. I’m not guaranteeing a win this Sunday, but the Cards are just a 5-3 middling team imo.
  10. I’m not afraid. Murray might turn out to be a good QB, but he’s not the next great one. Kingsbury is insanely overrated, and will probably be acting in romantic comedy movies for soccer moms in a few years.
  11. Could any random person off the street really be a worse coach than Adam Gase ?
  12. Newton randomly falls down a lot.
  13. I’ve given up on Belichick getting embarrassed, the Jets are even worse than I thought at every phase of the game.
  14. The announcers love their Pats. They’re blaming Newton looking rusty on being out with Covid, instead of Cam being washed up.
  15. Yep, I’d love to Brady and Belichick embarrassed the same week.
  16. Three Gore runs and a first down, who would have thought ?
  17. Sean Payton must be the happiest man on earth right now. He has an excuse to get his boy Taysom out there.
  18. Fair enough, It just seems like NO has handled Brady easily twice, so I don’t see him getting past the Saints. I still like the Seahawks as well. They can’t play defense, but Russell Wilson could out duel Brady. Brady still has his moments of greatness. He also continues to get older everyday, and I’m not buying into the propaganda that he’s the same Brady of old. It wouldn’t surprise me if Brady’s arm is a noodle by playoff time.
  19. Great points. Brady definitely seemed to choose the easier path for the twilight of his career. The Bucs seem to be a media darling Super Bowl pick. You’re correct that the NFC is up for grabs, but the Bucs haven’t looked good in either game against the Saints, and the Bears D handled Brady easily. I’m not seeing much to convince me the Bucs are real NFC contenders, because Brady looked terrible in games against teams they’d face in the playoffs.
  20. Thanks, I thought I’m the only person who sees this. His offense is really basic, and does nothing unique. The dude benefited from being a Steelers coach, and getting a couple good years from Kurt Warner in AZ. It’s also fair to say his leadership skills are questionable. He throws players under the bus, has an acrimonious relationship history with Brown, but was basically forced to reunite with him. There’s not much about him that inspires confidence or says he’s a good leader imo.
  21. Yep, if Brady looks old the second half of the season the media will blame Brown for tearing the team apart.
  22. This, I like my chances closing the game out against a terrible defense more than being able to stop them with our defense. NFL coaches are just incapable of this type of logic.
  23. Maybe more Hispanic voters showed up in 2020 AZ as well. I hasn’t really seen those numbers out yet compared to 2016.
  24. I think it was a case of undervaluing the guys they let go. I’ll admit I didn’t think we had anyone who would be a major loss. When that mistake is made, it’s easy to think you could replace them with anyone. The LB situation was simply an oversight though. The front office should have known that was a weak spot.
