  1. I think this is the best analysis considering the cost and talent of the players involved. I don’t see Sanders as an upgrade over Brown like others do. I think both guys are capable of similar production. I’m happy with the Sanders acquisition because it filled a need after letting Brown go. I see it as a lateral move. I don’t agree with all this talk about opponents shutting down Brown. Brown was shut down by physical defensive play both times against KC, but our entire offense got shut down by KC twice. Brown isn’t the most physical receiver, but people are talking about him like he disappears on a regular basis. What number two wideout doesn’t get shut down on occasion ? Let’s not act like Emmanuel Sanders is a player who’s impossible to take out of the game. The sole difference might be the injury situation. Sanders could contribute a lot more if he’s healthy next season, while Brown could have injury issues.
  2. Hilarious that a Bills forum is making Chicago weather jokes. 😂
  3. He did plenty good, but I’ll agree to disagree. Moss and Welker played over a decade ago. I’d be more concerned with BB as the GM over the last five seasons. Belichick has been below average in finding talent for that offense for many years.
  4. Absolutely, but obviously the GOAT at QB does a lot to help wideouts look good. I do think that Edelman and Welker are/were genuinely good players though. Welker had a decent final season with the Fish. I don’t think he’s elite without Brady, but he was becoming good player in his right. Those were all good signings imo. Most of their other WR signings since have been abysmal.
  5. For a team that had Moss, Welker, and Edelman. They sure have bad taste in the wideouts they choose to sign.
  6. Isn’t a terrible judge of collegiate talent generally a bad a GM ? The myth of BB brilliantly moving on from overpaid stars is overrated. He could move on from those big contracts because Brady continued to win games. Belichick’s inability to find any talent on offense ended Brady’s tenure.
  7. BB is one of the worst GM’s in the league. That’s the issue
  8. There’s a lot of backs we could pick up who’d look better than what we have imo.
  9. That’s ok, they’re stuck with Tua.
  10. The hysteria is a case of “ I know that guy”. I’m not saying he isn’t very talented, but you can get that production from other backs. Most NFL running backs look spectacular compared to the guys we’ve drafted who look stuck in quicksand.
  11. Fair enough, I’m just not seeing overly impressive numbers. Our backs are so slow and unproductive it makes a lot of guys look really good.
  12. Agree, but is he really that good anymore either ? Everyone is looking at his big numbers in KC. Has he done enough since to make me forget about him being so unlikable ? You should be able to get Hunt’s production from a lot of guys who don’t have the baggage.
  13. The Music City Miracle. I spent the weekend on a school outing, and recorded the game on VHS to watch when I got home. Instead, some kid on the bus was vocal in his joy about a Bills loss.
  14. People get so touchy about this kind of stuff, and somehow always internalize it to relate to their own life. Poyer posted his truth, regardless of how right or wrong it might be. It has nothing to do with anyone, but Poyer.
  15. Much of that has to do with Belichick the GM, more than Belichick the coach. It’s difficult to separate the two. I still believe BB is an all time great coach, but he sabotages himself by being a terrible GM.
  16. I thought Davis was a great rookie player. I think my concern is the fact he still needs to develop into a true number two. I’m not putting him down, I just don’t see how starting him over Brown is an even trade off. People underestimate how much an opponent must plan for a player like Brown who can always beat them deep. Davis is known as a vertical threat, but he has a lot to learn with tracking the ball, and making contested catches down field. There were several plays last season you knew Diggs or Brown would have made. This isn’t an insult to Davis, I’m just not all that comfortable with him as a number two.
  17. I like Gabe Davis a lot, but I hope they don’t count on using him as the number two next season. Our offense was fine without Brown, and I’m not overly concerned, but I see Davis as a third option. His lack of speed worries me.
  18. The final verdict on AJE as an NFL player has yet to be determined. I’m giving him a chance. I’ll admit to being a little confused why you draft a guy who needs to change to fit the mold of what the team wants. This franchise made AJE’s transition to the NFL more difficult than it already is for most players. He might be the guy who can do it, he’s just a bit of a project.
  19. Absolutely, I agree with all of the above. I do think a lot of the invasive species stuff shows the stupidity of humans. The pythons of the Everglades wouldn’t even be an issue if people didn’t keep them as pets. You also have the human desire to inhabit areas that put us in direct conflict with the ecosystem. Not only do we need to control the natural population growth, we also constantly deal with correcting human error, and controlled hunting often allows us to do so.
  20. This might be true, but isn’t sensationalism what television is all about? Oprah has lined her pockets for years by doing it better than everyone else. I can’t blame her for that. She plays the game very well.
  21. McKenzie is a gadget player who can play a nice role as a contributor for a good offense. Diggs, Beasley, Davis, and Brown all get touches before McKenzie, with the exception of McKenzie’s sweep type plays, those guys come first. McKenzie will never be a reliable receiver who sees a great deal of playing time. He was banged up in the playoffs, and they probably wanted to go to the other playmakers first. I don’t think McKenzie was the missing piece that stopped us from winning a title.
  22. Move over Kyler Murray. Watt automatically becomes the face of the Cards. In fact that’s partially why I didn’t want him here. He wants the marquee.
  23. I expect him to hold a LeBron James “the Decision” style press conference before we learn where he’s going.
  24. I’ve noticed in America the t pronunciation is common among pseudo intellectuals who over enunciate each word in an attempt sound smart. I think its become common to assess intelligence based on speech and language more than actual content. Disclaimer: To all of you who pronounce the t in often, this is a generalized observation. It isn’t meant as a personal insult 😂
  25. Buck has the personality of a trust fund frat boy, so it makes sense he’d admit to drinking on the job just to sound cool.
