The Chiefs are never afraid to do this with Hill and Kelce. Daboll seems to get kind of stuck on maintaining very specific roles for each player. I wonder how much that hurts us when we’re up against quality defenses.

College football really is the greatest hurdle in every potential NFL market. I don’t think many of us Bills fans fully realize the reach of college football, especially those of us who still live up north. Attending a college game is a more enjoyable experience for the average American. Buffalo has one of the few college like atmospheres on game day in the NFL, but other NFL experiences are vastly different. People in a place like Oklahoma City are going to enjoy attending a Sooners game more than an NFL game. Throw tradition in the mix, and the NFL franchise becomes an afterthought. Americans are attached to their favorite college teams in much the same way as WNYer’s are attached to the Billls. It’s passed down from generation to generation, and no fancy NFL stadium is taking that away.

Oh yeah, Hard Knocks is definitely popular, but I don’t see how following a team during the season is positive from a competitive prospective. As long as Brady and Mahomes are throwing for 400 yards a game, the NFL doesn’t care about true quality. The average fan is investing more money in the game than ever before, but those fans don’t necessarily understand the intricacies of the game. Any decline in the on field isn’t going to be noticed by the average fan. Stunts like Hard Knocks in season, international games, and expanding the season, doesn’t seem like the best way to get the most out of players, but maybe my take is just a bit old school.

In season reality shows just prove how little the NFL cares about the actual product.

Nothing beats football, but it also doesn’t get much worse than an NFL game with two subpar QB’s. This game really needed Fitz to add any intrigue.

Titans are frauds, I’ve been saying that for a while. I just don’t believe in the resurgence of Tannehill leading them to a title. It’s been all about defense and Henry. The Titans always reminded me of the AFC playoff run the Jags had with Marrone.

I’m not sure how anyone sees Jackson consistently making throws that other QB’s make, but to each their own. He has a great long ball, and makes great throws from scrambling, but show throws he makes from the pocket outside the numbers, or midrange throws to someone other than a tight end across the middle.

I love watching Jackson play, and have always been very supportive of him. He’s starting to lose me with his ability to throw the football consistently from the pocket. You seem to take Jackson criticism very personally for some reason.

Jackson can only scramble, throw from a scramble, and make nice deep passes. All other parts of the passing game just aren’t there.

That’s a fitting end to a messed up bizarre game.

They trust Jackson so little as a passer that they play for a long field goal.

Lamar’s last 7 or 8 passes have looked terrible.

I get it, but it’s all built off the run. They run an old school college type system. It’s been shut down in the playoffs every year with Lamar. They’re forced to stick with it until garbage time, and ultimately lost those games. Roman should absolutely keep all of those plays in his play book, but I’d like to see them occasionally run a typical NFL offense. I’m not asking more of Lamar, I’m asking more from the OC who’s going to be out of work when his team makes another early playoff exit.

I realize that a coach’s job is to put his team in the best position to win. Roman does that with his talent on the Ravens, but at some point you need to allow Jackson to continue developing his passing skills. The heavily run oriented style is fine, but they keep falling in the playoffs because they don’t have a typical NFL offense in the playbook. Use the regular season to develop that.

I’m done with Carr, and I’ve only been watching him for an hour.

Lamar started a little rocky, but man he’s fun to watch.

How are Derek Carr’s career numbers so decent ? He looks like garbage whenever I watch him play.
