  1. He’s good, and he wasn’t going to win games in Detroit, but he also had some good WR’s there. There’s just this popular narrative that he didn’t have anyone to throw to. Some of the failures on offense in Detroit were on him. He has all the physical tools, and is a good QB. Definitely a big upgrade over Goff, but I think McVay’s skills as an offensive coach are being vastly underrated. McVay was very successful with Goff, and an upgrade with Stafford is making the offense even better.
  2. I’m waiting for Stafford to come back down to earth. I don’t wish him failure, but this narrative that he’s a great one who never had anyone to throw to in Detroit is a bit much.
  3. The NFL should really step up to do something about the Watson situation. It’s a black eye for the game, and no franchise should be run like the Texans.
  4. I suppose during football season there really is no after the game, it’s always before the game.
  5. Maybe the Jets coaching staff didn’t spend their days off prowling a college bar though.
  6. Linebacker Quincy Williams with the Jets is an impressive player. Dude delivers big hits in a way you don’t see anymore, and he’s good in coverage as well.
  7. Yeah, and he was almost trying to run over the linebacker. He’s going to learn that he won’t be able to do that in the NFL, without a much bigger frame.
  8. What an awful play call by the Jets.
  9. I’m one of those, but I’ve been impressed that he’s made some throws I didn’t think he was capable of. He’s still a Jets QB, so he’s still going to fail, at I least hope.
  10. That’s true, I don’t drink coffee, but I usually get donuts if I’m with someone who stops at those places, and they aren’t good. You’d just think both could do a little better, even with mass produced donuts. I’m guessing they probably don’t care much, because people do like throwing away money on coffee every morning.
  11. Wilson making some nice throws.
  12. Isn’t Dunkin the same thing ?
  13. I’m not sure what people see in Timmy’s or Dunkin. Horton’s used to actually be good.
  14. Definitely, didn’t see much of a drop without Feliciano though. I don’t think Boetteger is a big drop off. The Feliciano resigning remains a bit of a head scratcher. There had to be more of a locker room decision factoring in to that.
  15. Too bad they can’t handle Tannehill suddenly.
  16. Power outage at old stadium = NFL conspiracy to prove need for new one 😂
  17. Texans should be demoted to division III.
  18. I’m also glad I’m not at the game from a personal perspective. The living room is much nicer today.
  19. It’ll be interesting to see how the offense handles this weather, considering how many people claim inclement weather doesn’t matter.
  20. I mostly agree, I don’t want to go political, but the one thing I haven’t heard in all this “outrage” is how risky these type of photos are. If I’m in his shoes, I’m doing my best to make sure this type of thing doesn’t happen, because there’s always the small chance of things morphing into being accused of problematic behavior. Do your thing on your time, but rich guys in pics with drunks at bars is somewhat risky these days. There’s better places to seek out attention in today’s world.
  21. I think there’s definitely cultural differences from what little I know about European culture. The demeanor of everyone in the picture probably wouldn’t mean much over there. In America, their body language shows interest in more than just a picture. Americans tend to avoid that type of contact without some intent, especially as it continues to become more risky to demonstrate any type of physical gestures in our culture. If they simply wanted a celeb photo, the body language would be different in this country.
  22. Taking care of your bank account helps even more.
  23. The girl on the left is wearing a cross.
  24. I remember when some Bills fans used to say Fletcher was garbage 😆
  25. Yeah, there’s also a fine line between being “washed up” and being big enough to perform a halftime show. Many of the all time greats weren’t big enough at their artist peak to perform such an event, but their collective work justifies a big stage later in their career. The freaking Foo Fighters for example, they sellout arenas in 2021, but they were never close to being the biggest act in the 90’s.
