  1. Strange effort, it’s like he was worried where the goal post was because he didn’t want to hurt his foot on it.
  2. I think McVay is an amazing offensive coach, but his ego could be getting in the way with the OBJ signing. The Rams were doing fine with their current roster. This is basically McVay saying that other teams aren’t smart or talented enough to properly utilize OBJ. It leaves no room for the fact that OBJ might be washed up. They have to plan on feeding him the ball, or he isn’t going to be pleased. I think that’s a huge risk for a good team, especially when you don’t know how good OBJ is at this point. He’ll still demand the targets, even if he can’t perform.
  3. Good, I can’t stand the Rams because I don’t want to see the NFL move to LA vindicated when they win a title. We’d be hearing how brilliant the league was to put a team in LA. Now we have OBJ to derail their season, and get in Stafford’s head. I love it.
  4. No thanks to Congress looking at this issue. I remember when they “investigated” baseball.
  5. All I see is a check down Allen could have taken if he decided to throw in under a second. I’m willing to bet Brady takes a sack 9 out of 10 times on the same play. Allen made mistakes, but when o line play is that poor, I can’t even start to analyze the QB.
  6. Yeah, people underestimate the significance of being a team thats made multiple playoff runs. This hasn’t been the greatest regular season, but playoff time is a fresh start, and experience matters.
  7. That John Brown would have torn Jacksonville a new one.
  8. Agree, it makes me wonder how many times the league have used their lawyers to erase that type of content though.
  9. You’re right, social media will be our downfall, but officiating has truthfully gotten much worse. I typically enjoy watching football at any other level without refs ruining the game. They consistently ruin NFL games. I don’t know if there’s corruption in your sense of the word, but I think of corruption simply as other less blatant things. It’s clear there’s too many refs with biased agendas, no eyesight, and no ability to control themselves from taking over the game. If you believe NFL officiating is great, that’s fine, but I think it’s really bad, and it’s amazing change isn’t being demanded.
  10. Social media has been abuzz for years with examples of poor and corrupt officiating. It’s a shame the media doesn’t hold the NFL accountable with better investigative reporting. It’s never going to change until that happens, and I don’t count on it.
  11. Does it count if the rushing tds are from Josh Allen? 😆
  12. Yeah, as I’ve mentioned, our receivers stack up quite favorably in side by side comparisons to other WR corps. I can’t easily name many who are more talented. If someone can do so, feel free.
  13. I didn’t realize Jimmy Graham was still playing, kind of looks like he shouldn’t be.
  14. Looked like all kinds of Offside on that play, but I think the NFL quit calling that.
  15. Watching the Bears is always brutal. I thought Nagy was an offensive guru? Why can the Steelers get away with old school hard nosed play in a way no other NFL team can? Polamalu’s entire career was based on being allowed to play a style that was banned for everyone else.
  16. I think the playmaker stuff is nonsense. It’s just easy to say when struggles come our way. Diggs is one of the better number ones, Beasley had elite slot numbers last season, and Sanders is a very respectable number two. That’s not even taking Knox or Davis into consideration. I’m having trouble thinking of too many teams with more play making depth at the receiver position.
  17. Yep, I remember learning about Paul Revere saying that.
  18. Probably because Singletary and Moss might take all afternoon to make it to the outside.
  19. Tannehill is going to be exposed as the subpar QB he is during the second half of this season. The Titans meltdown will be fun to watch.
  20. I tend to think OBJ is washed up, but since we’re not getting o line help, I’d say what the heck if we could. I’m not worried about team chemistry or any of that at this point. Gabe Davis doesn’t show much consistently, so I’d be willing to take away his targets.
  21. Yep, and I’ve seen grandmothers run through the aisles of Wegmans faster than those guys after they catch the ball.
  22. Diggs should always be a big part of the game plan, but we’re too busy toying around with trick plays and Josh Allen runs. I realize we go to Diggs a lot, but a guy like him should be forced into the game via short pass calls when he’s not being heard from enough.
  23. Daboll’s too busy drawing up read options for Allen.
