  1. McKenzie is a screen pass receiver, and sweep guy. He’s an electrifying player with both of those, but doesn’t offer much more as wideout.
  2. Drew Bledsoe was terrible in 1996 ? Didn’t you guys go to the Super Bowl that year. I thought Drew was drafted in 94.
  3. Pats nation seems to act like Brady never existed, and they’re somehow contenders just because they’re the Pats.
  4. Pats fans are overly excited, they don’t understand QB’s don’t grow on trees. They should be depressed their QB is winning titles elsewhere.
  5. I’m still most disturbed by Josh’s facial hair every time he sports it 😂
  6. I agree, I’m just saying it’s hypothetically a lot easier to enforce with 15K than 70K. People won’t be inside much, but my first thought was how impossible it would be to enforce in the crowded concourse areas, where everyone is shoulder to shoulder. That’s a much different scene than the concourse at halftime with 15k in the house.
  7. I just don’t see how easily it could be enforced in the crowded concourse during halftime for example. They’d basically need to station people at the concourse entrance ways to check for masks. They’d also need to check for masks at the main gate to confirm that each attendee brought one. Seems like more an honor system in my eyes, and who wants the job of fighting with drunk people for little pay.
  8. I think it’s fair that he changed his opinion on Allen. Cowherd is definitely entitled to do so, and probably should considering Josh’s success. I don’t struggle with Cowherd praising Josh, I just laugh at him acting like a champion of the Josh Allen story. This is coming from a guy who’s essentially said small market athletes and teams don’t matter. Suddenly he’s all about cashing in on the Bills bandwagon. Sports talk radio has a reputation for being annoying, but Cowherd’s elitist rambling takes it to another level. He never sounds like an average Joe sitting around talking about sports. That should be the goal for sports radio imo. Instead, he goes on bizarre sociological rants that he awkwardly tries to link to sports. I could barely listen past the rant about being the son of divorced parents.
  9. Cowherd is just a front runner. He realizes that league and media perception shifted to recognizing Allen’s place among the best. This guy hasn’t had an original thought his entire career. This new take allows him to say he’s right, and cover the market for rabid Bills fans. He used to sing the Pats and NY team praises because he wanted the large market. That’s back when he said the Midwest and its people are worthless, and only big market teams matter. Cowturd is really good at taking the popular position.
  10. None, I’m not sure how a couple series a game helps prepare for the upcoming season. The only thing it is does is allow the risk of injury to key players.
  11. Additionally, it’s not like Edwards played all that well in games he won early in his career. They were mostly defensive struggles where he played a game manager role. Bills fans were searching so desperately for a light at the end of the tunnel. Edwards not being a complete disaster made people overrate him. The bar was set low to the point that a game manager who won a few games was viewed as a savior.
  12. Maybe, but ownership and the front office were the real problem. The Steelers ended up with Big Ben without tanking. There’s also plenty of ways to move up in the draft. We were an inept franchise, and I’m not sure I can blame all the failure on the misfortune of never tanking.
  13. Getting this deal done shows how well run things are over at OBD these days. It’s just one less thing the team needs to worry about. There was a time the Bills would have never offered such a contract.
  14. All this talk about preseason games being great for kids makes me feel like I was terrible child. I remember at about 8 telling my mother, “I don’t ever want preseason tickets for a gift, get me to a real game” 😂
  15. Burrow has so much potential, and he seemed quite advanced with the mental aspect of the game. I’ve said from the start that my only concern with Burrow is the franchise he plays for. I hope he’s able to regain his confidence, but I’d be worried the Bengals aren’t going to do enough to help him be successful on the field. There’s no franchise in the league that takes the cheap out more often than the Bengals.
  16. I don’t understand it either, I always thought all the flavored vodkas would be enough to satisfy that market. When you can buy any flavor vodka your heart desires, why do we need every flavor whiskey ? It really has less to do with enjoying an actual alcoholic beverage, and more to do with young people wanting to get drunk as fast as possible.
  17. I think these type of jobs are sometimes more of a courtesy thing and paycheck for an alum Iike Spiller. Who knows how much responsibility Spiller actually has.
  18. That’s fair, I think I just like the events that don’t receive all the hoopla. I really enjoyed watching the hammer throw on an NBC networks last night. A Polish dude won, but an American Cornell grad took the silver. There’s something pure and true to the Olympic spirit about the lesser known athletes achieving their dreams in less popular sports. There’s nothing wrong with all the fluff pieces, or star athlete credit card commercials, but I also love seeing the other athletes who worked just as hard.
  19. Fair enough, I probably misinterpreted some things I read. I’ve just noticed that some people are starting to root more for individual athletes than the country itself. NBC’s coverage makes it such a soap opera geared toward individual stories over country imo.
  20. I’m glad everyone is stoked that US women’s soccer lost, it’s kind of sad really.
