You’re correct, and I don’t want to chicken little, but it’s more about the Steelers dominating the second half. The Steelers aren’t that type of good, and I wouldn’t consider them a legitimate contender. The season just begun, and all of our goals are still in sight, but this was the Bills team we saw against the Chiefs and Titans last season. This loss has as much to do with things we need to fix, as it does the greatness of the Steelers imo.

Running sounds great, I used to love Singletary, but I’m no longer convinced we have the guys. Running is worthless if you don’t have a decent back, or a line that can run block. KC has a guy like Edwards Helaire, that’s a huge difference.

There should be a release Haack thread though. I think that’s very reasonable considering his craptastic kicking in Miami.

We already know the defense has soft spots, but we live and die with our offense. Elite offensive teams all have better O line play. People are so enamored with the personalities of our O line guys, they won’t admit how average they are.

Our team has stunk today. It’s a long season, and can still be championship caliber. I’m not ready to crown the Steelers because of this, we stunk, no excuses. Also, let’s get a new punter, what did they see in Haack ?

I’d like to see a better first half offensively, but I like seeing how they work through adversity when it’s not all clicking. There will be games like this, and scoring before the end of the half is the type of stuff that separates the winners and losers.

I tend to think there’s more than just the game plan at play here, but I don’t know any more than the next guy. We’ll probably never know the true reason regardless of what they tell us, because McD keeps things in house.

Could just be part of the game plan, but I also see McD as someone who isn’t afraid to do this type of thing to a second year player who doesn’t meet expectations. What expectations might have been unmet ? I don’t know, but McD sending a player a message wouldn’t shock me.
