It doesn’t seem like anyone has a huge home field advantage these days. Would I rather we had home field? Yes, I’d love the number one seed next year, but home field isn’t the unstoppable force it once was.

I hope both Rams fans have a great time celebrating this victory.

Shanahan sticks with Jimmy all season, then completely hides him on a crucial third down play. Nothing wrong with running the ball, but the short passing game was working well, and the Rams have that Donald guy in the middle.

Whenever I watch football I definitely need to know that Leo DiCaprio is watching. 😂

The Rams are dirty, and seem to be a team that gets away with it.

The league needs to explain that rule this off-season. It appears to apply only in certain situations with many players being exempt from enforcement of the rule.

Agree, but Alex Smith was never as bad as Jimmy G. I suppose that would be a separate debate itself. Watch KC with Alex Smith in the playoffs, then watch Jimmy G playoff football. Jimmy G gives you bottom shelf QB play, Smith was a step up imo.

Great point, it makes total sense. Why ruin what works? Rookie QB’s are known to make crazy mistakes. However, Jimmy G isn’t the best with ball security either. He also seems incapable of making plays that redeem those mistakes. It’s possible rookie mistakes would even out if the guy was capable of making big plays. I suppose there’s a certain level of comfort with a veteran QB, and he got them to the championship game, regardless of my opinion. I just can’t imagine being an offensive minded coach like Shanahan and not getting restless enough to make a move. I suppose he deserves credit for being patient. It could be the right long term play. We’ll see.

Fair enough, if they were playing anyone else I’d root for the opponent. I just can’t bring myself to root for an LA team. A Rams Super Bowl win would literally go mostly unnoticed by an entire city. I still don’t know if Rams fans are a real thing.

I hate watching Jimmy G play, but I don’t want to see LA in the Super Bowl. There’s a lot of Stafford love around here, but LA doesn’t deserve a Lombardi trophy. I root for fanbases more than individual players I guess. I’d love to see Cincy win it all for that city, and I can tolerate a SF win. Everything about the title going to LA is gross imo.
