  1. Great idea, but if we do so, prepare to very disappointed by recent college grads 😆
  2. I predict it’s an announcement that gets this topic locked 😂
  3. I’m not sure how anyone sees Jackson consistently making throws that other QB’s make, but to each their own. He has a great long ball, and makes great throws from scrambling, but show throws he makes from the pocket outside the numbers, or midrange throws to someone other than a tight end across the middle.
  4. I love watching Jackson play, and have always been very supportive of him. He’s starting to lose me with his ability to throw the football consistently from the pocket. You seem to take Jackson criticism very personally for some reason.
  5. Jackson can only scramble, throw from a scramble, and make nice deep passes. All other parts of the passing game just aren’t there.
  6. That’s a fitting end to a messed up bizarre game.
  7. They trust Jackson so little as a passer that they play for a long field goal.
  8. Lamar’s last 7 or 8 passes have looked terrible.
  9. I get it, but it’s all built off the run. They run an old school college type system. It’s been shut down in the playoffs every year with Lamar. They’re forced to stick with it until garbage time, and ultimately lost those games. Roman should absolutely keep all of those plays in his play book, but I’d like to see them occasionally run a typical NFL offense. I’m not asking more of Lamar, I’m asking more from the OC who’s going to be out of work when his team makes another early playoff exit.
  10. Love how the announcers are spinning that into a good play from Carr.
  11. I realize that a coach’s job is to put his team in the best position to win. Roman does that with his talent on the Ravens, but at some point you need to allow Jackson to continue developing his passing skills. The heavily run oriented style is fine, but they keep falling in the playoffs because they don’t have a typical NFL offense in the playbook. Use the regular season to develop that.
  12. I’m done with Carr, and I’ve only been watching him for an hour.
  13. Lamar started a little rocky, but man he’s fun to watch.
  14. How are Derek Carr’s career numbers so decent ? He looks like garbage whenever I watch him play.
  15. Lamar barely attempts to think pass first anymore.
  16. I’m annoyed for some reason with how desperately the NFL feels the need to promote the cities of Vegas and LA. Nothing against either place, but the NFL seems very proud of themselves for putting teams in those cities.
  17. I’m assuming they’re including both stints as Raiders HC.
  18. Ok, Aaron Rodgers. Joking aside, you’re absolutely correct. It’s also not crazy to be a little disappointed. I’m not ready to consider the Steelers a contender, and we got schooled in a way that looked similar to previous losses. It was a slightly concerning loss because of that imo, but we have all season to fix some of those issues. The ultimate goal is still in sight, but it’s clear some work needs to be done.
  19. It’s been one game, and everyone played poorly. I don’t understand why so many have deemed Sanders worthless either. Everyone likes shiny new things. I think most of this board looks at Sanders age and gives him no respect because of that. Davis is a very good receiver, but he’s still learning the pro game. Sanders knows the pro game, and still has plenty of skill left. You don’t stick around that long as a receiver if you’re garbage.
  20. Davis is very talented, but he’s still learning to be a wideout in the pros. I think it’s possible that Sanders is the better receiver right now. Davis is still working on becoming that guy who’s dependable for an entire game, and doesn’t disappear. Diggs, Beasley, and Sanders are all guys who regardless of struggles, are going to make some plays. Davis is a really good receiver, but he’s just not at their level yet.
  21. A Matthew Stafford QB’ed team allowing a weak opponent to stay in the game, for some reason I’m not shocked.
  22. Finding his wife in an LA crowd could get complicated.
  23. It was out of hand the minute Dalton stepped on the field, but I’m sure Nagy doesn’t see it that way.
  24. Listening to this broadcast, you can’t help but notice how desperately the NFL wants a championship LA team 🤮
  25. I wouldn’t be shocked either, but I wonder if Nagy has the guts to make that change in a close game. I’m thinking it needs to get completely out of hand for a change to be made. If Dalton plays terribly, but they’re only down by one or two scores, I wonder if he’d make the switch. Coaches sometimes hate admitting they were wrong.
