  1. I’m also glad I’m not at the game from a personal perspective. The living room is much nicer today.
  2. It’ll be interesting to see how the offense handles this weather, considering how many people claim inclement weather doesn’t matter.
  3. I mostly agree, I don’t want to go political, but the one thing I haven’t heard in all this “outrage” is how risky these type of photos are. If I’m in his shoes, I’m doing my best to make sure this type of thing doesn’t happen, because there’s always the small chance of things morphing into being accused of problematic behavior. Do your thing on your time, but rich guys in pics with drunks at bars is somewhat risky these days. There’s better places to seek out attention in today’s world.
  4. I think there’s definitely cultural differences from what little I know about European culture. The demeanor of everyone in the picture probably wouldn’t mean much over there. In America, their body language shows interest in more than just a picture. Americans tend to avoid that type of contact without some intent, especially as it continues to become more risky to demonstrate any type of physical gestures in our culture. If they simply wanted a celeb photo, the body language would be different in this country.
  5. Taking care of your bank account helps even more.
  6. I remember when some Bills fans used to say Fletcher was garbage 😆
  7. Yeah, there’s also a fine line between being “washed up” and being big enough to perform a halftime show. Many of the all time greats weren’t big enough at their artist peak to perform such an event, but their collective work justifies a big stage later in their career. The freaking Foo Fighters for example, they sellout arenas in 2021, but they were never close to being the biggest act in the 90’s.
  8. That’s a great point, you really can’t be a coach who builds for his own future with Rodgers in the room. If you were able to get Rodgers in Denver, you’d be coaching for a Lombardi, knowing you have no future. I don’t think Rodgers is remotely willing to see that side of coin.
  9. Yeah, when something defies the laws of nature, you can’t help but wonder. It’s like all these middle aged movie stars that add muscle mass and lose it at the drop of a hat for a new role. It just doesn’t add up with the limits of being human.
  10. Exactly, diets are great, but taking a beating every week is also very unhealthy. In many ways a veteran NFL player is probably going to be in worse health than a healthy office worker at the same age, regardless of how fit the athlete might be at the time.
  11. You’re right, I just have a tough time not being a little skeptical with his past. I also can’t help but to think he’s very lucky. All this talk about health is ironic because football is an extremely unhealthy game. These guys take a beating (within the special Brady rules), and Brady stays healthy at 44. We can talk about him finding the fountain of youth, but he’s probably taken more of a beaten health wise than the average 44 year old, that’s the greatest irony. I don’t care what you eat, that’s fortunate at any age.
  12. I’ll have to read more about this guy. It looks like he couldn’t stop his balding though 😂 I’m not picking on you. I just think this idea that Brady found the fountain of youth is crazy considering his association with Guerrero, and the fact that he probably got hair plugs and plastic surgery. I just have a tough time seeing Brady as some kind of anti aging miracle.
  13. The quality of hospital food isn’t good, because good food is very expensive. You’re correct, but dietitians just work with what they have. I’m just saying they try to incorporate all the food groups, even if the food is unhealthy. I don’t think too many dietitians are going to encourage a gluten free diet for someone without a gluten allergy, for example. That was the point I was making. I don’t want to get too deep into it because I don’t want to be accused of spreading misinformation as this is just my opinion, but this new “health” food fade sells lots of food as being healthy that isn’t much better than the stuff we assume is garbage. It’s all mass produced, but they’ve convinced Americans with money to eat their “good” stuff, instead of just learning how to eat healthier portions. That’s my issue with the Brady diet, it’s just fade nonsense. Great if it works for him, but it doesn’t necessarily work for everyone.
  14. No, it doesn’t sound crazy, and quite typical. Dietary suggestions also depend a little bit on the individual’s health as well, so it is flexible. Brady’s diet goes well beyond that though, and that’s the point I was making. As far as processed food, good luck truly avoiding it if you don’t have a farm imo.
  15. I’ve read articles that have explained some issues with his diet. Once again, I’m not giving medical advice, just saying what I’ve read. Sometimes experts actually disagree with each other. Take red meat for example, it’s become the hippy thing to say we don’t need it, but there’s still plenty of dietitians who claim we do. If you’re hospitalized, the dietary team is likely to plan well rounded meals for you as a patient. They aren’t going to come up with some fade diet that excludes “evil” food groups. That’s who I consider the experts, not athletes, or suburban serial dieters.
  16. People who don’t believe in fade diets, and think we need all food groups. I’m not claiming to know anything, I’m just saying that Brady’s diet is strange, and a lot of people wouldn’t feel so great with it. Gluten as this demonic thing is dumb if you don’t have a real gluten allergy. If he thinks it works that’s fine, but most of these fade diets are just ways to con money out of people with self esteem issues about their weight.
  17. I think they’re trying to pick a “safe” way to attempt cultural relevance.
  18. Rock music might not be dead, but it’s culturally irrelevant. Rock will always be an important part of my life, but I can’t avoid the truth. It’s a special niche, eventually becoming no different than opera or classical, as far as having limited appeal. I don’t think any genre ever really died, but they become a special interest. I can no longer use my interest in rock music as a conversation starter with people my age, the way I could a couple decades ago. The appeal of new rock music is very limited. You still have tons of baby boomers and younger people who listen to older acts, but interest in new rock music is a select few imo.
  19. Yeah, being a great college coach is really the perfect storm of being a great recruiter, finding the right college, and having financial backing from that school. Sometimes that financial backing can even be a little shady. You still need coaching talent, but the variables to success are much different than the NFL.
  20. His alleged “diet” is also quite unhealthy from most expert prospectives.
  21. Agree, there’s a lot of reasons you could lose your voice, but he does look like terrible as well.
