I’d be shocked if Gruden gets very far. The NFL never loses.

Worst Loss For Each SB Champion Since 2010
SirAndrew replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, bad losses happen, but contenders string victories together. Losing a bad game isn’t the end of the world, but at some point you need a winning streak to be a legitimate contender. No one in the AFC has gone on a decent winning streak, but we’re getting to the point of the season where someone is going to separate from the pack. The excuses are over if we want to be that team. -
Oh Sammy...I don't miss you. Pathetic effort here.

Watkins played an awful game, I don’t have any excuses for him, but that setup is crazy. The league is all about player safety, yet they extend seating that close to the end zone. There’s absolutely no need for that trashy looking seating add on. You can clearly see where the original seating is located, but they just had to sell high end tickets under the premise of giving fans field level views. -
You could be right, but I struggle with adding OBJ to the Rams. OBJ might have to accept playing a specific role, and I’m not convinced he’s willing to do so. You’re correct in saying that he could benefit from “less pressure to be the man”. However, I believe OBJ wants and needs to be the man. Anything less than being the go to guy is going to make OBJ shut down. It could work great, if he’s willing accept whatever role the Rams give him, but I don’t think he’s mature enough.

Harris Football: Top 5 SB Contenders right now
SirAndrew replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whenever I write off the Titans, they just keep winning. I originally said they were a one year wonder, then I said they’re done when Henry went down. I’ll never post anything negative about the Titans again, although I don’t understand how they do it, they always find a way. -
I think McVay is an amazing offensive coach, but his ego could be getting in the way with the OBJ signing. The Rams were doing fine with their current roster. This is basically McVay saying that other teams aren’t smart or talented enough to properly utilize OBJ. It leaves no room for the fact that OBJ might be washed up. They have to plan on feeding him the ball, or he isn’t going to be pleased. I think that’s a huge risk for a good team, especially when you don’t know how good OBJ is at this point. He’ll still demand the targets, even if he can’t perform.

Good, I can’t stand the Rams because I don’t want to see the NFL move to LA vindicated when they win a title. We’d be hearing how brilliant the league was to put a team in LA. Now we have OBJ to derail their season, and get in Stafford’s head. I love it.

Has NFL "ownership" of gambling sites corrupted the league
SirAndrew replied to Gisele's topic in The Stadium Wall
No thanks to Congress looking at this issue. I remember when they “investigated” baseball. -
Yeah, people underestimate the significance of being a team thats made multiple playoff runs. This hasn’t been the greatest regular season, but playoff time is a fresh start, and experience matters.

That John Brown would have torn Jacksonville a new one.

Referee Tony Corrente corrupt as *****!!!

Agree, it makes me wonder how many times the league have used their lawyers to erase that type of content though. -

You’re right, social media will be our downfall, but officiating has truthfully gotten much worse. I typically enjoy watching football at any other level without refs ruining the game. They consistently ruin NFL games. I don’t know if there’s corruption in your sense of the word, but I think of corruption simply as other less blatant things. It’s clear there’s too many refs with biased agendas, no eyesight, and no ability to control themselves from taking over the game. If you believe NFL officiating is great, that’s fine, but I think it’s really bad, and it’s amazing change isn’t being demanded. -

Social media has been abuzz for years with examples of poor and corrupt officiating. It’s a shame the media doesn’t hold the NFL accountable with better investigative reporting. It’s never going to change until that happens, and I don’t count on it. -
Does it count if the rushing tds are from Josh Allen? 😆
