  1. Guess we just need third and long red zone situations to cash in. That was perfection.
  2. I don’t like going for it when our offense stinks in those short yardage spots. Take the points.
  3. Yeah, I’ll still question how much talent we have on the line. I don’t think it’s much, but I also question coaching because it feels like they’ve all regressed. I see regression and guys failing to develop into quality starters after we draft them. That’s typically indicative of coaching.
  4. I think coaching plays a huge role, but it’s not like our o line is filled with first round draft picks, or high end free agents either. Who’s to say the Colts backups aren’t just as talented as our o line. You can’t really judge talent solely based on draft position. I haven’t seen much out of our guys, but I agree the coaching and scheme doesn’t seem particularly solid either.
  5. Time for make up calls galore now.
  6. I was looking forward to football tonight, but this is why I mostly watch for Buffalo. I’d rather do anything other than watching the refs make it all about them again.
  7. Covid hasn’t made this season any less enjoyable for me. We knew this issue before the season, and guys always miss football games. It’s not ideal, and more guys are missing games than a typical season, but you always have to find ways to win when guys are out. This season is no different. If anything has taken away some enjoyment, it’s been seeing some of our flaws. We can take this division, but anything less would be disappointing when we’re easily the most talented team in the division with the best QB.
  8. Yeah, I don’t get everyone calling this a Covid safety net move. That makes sense, but you should be equally worried about Bass in that case. This might partially be a Covid move, but I think it has more to do with Haack’s performance.
  9. Samuel is an incredible mix of speed and power.
  10. Dumb play call up seven against a team that can’t move the ball. The receiver always wants to throw at any cost. That’s why I’m not running that play in this spot.
  11. Jimmy G costs the 49ers a Super Bowl win, followed by a bad 2020 season. Fast forward to 2021, and the team carries their QB to moderate success. Somewhere in between the franchise traded picks to draft another QB, yet they won’t see what he’s got over their failed starter. I’m very confused with the 49er’s long term plans.
  12. I think it’s time to put in Trey Lance. If Shanahan thinks he’s that much worse than Jimmy G, they should just trade him.
  13. I think they have some guys, but it’s mostly Tannehill who’s lost without Henry. Tannehill is who he’s always been, Henry made him look like an NFL starter. Strange game, we’re watching two really good teams, with really bad QB’s.
  14. I agree, but we don’t even try. I’d have no problem with getting the ball into the hands of Gabe Davis and Knox on more short throws. They’re both physical with the ball in their hands.
  15. Jimmy G is incredibly successful with all the easy throws his offense gives him. I wish we’d give Josh more easy throws, but I can’t believe how bad Jimmy G is with making any tough throws. Trey Lance must look awful in practice, because I’m not sure how you don’t roll with your QB of the future. Every throw Jimmy makes could be made by a rookie.
  16. This is the only answer I can come up with. How many people have the time of their lives in college, yet attend a school in the middle of nowhere? I try to put myself in the shoes of a twenty something athlete, and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be having a great time anywhere in this country, I know I could. Cities like Buffalo or Cincy probably have thousands of bars and clubs in the region. These dudes could walk into any of those places, and everyone would think it’s the greatest thing ever. These guys aren’t looking for art galleries, they’re looking for parties. Rock stars used party and have the time of their lives in every city. These dudes are just bent they don’t get to be on a social media with a Kardashian wannabe by their side. They can mostly be found in LA and Miami, which are the cities pro athletes seem to be saying are better than where they play.
  17. I think you’re right, it’s more of a status thing than an actual statement on a city having nothing to do. These guys want the LA or Miami scene for status. Little do they know that most of the grown up world is discovering life can be awesome outside of LA, NY, and Miami, and are actually leaving those areas in droves. The coastal cities aren’t as hip as they once were, but maybe they still are in the jock world, idk. Agree, everyone always brings up NY, LA, and Miami, but there’s 27 other NFL cities. Not everyone can be on one of five teams.
  18. The irony of it is the fact that guys like Burrow grew up in Ohio, go to college in Baton Rogue, and then say their NFL city has nothing to do. I don’t get the mentality. Cincinnati certainly isn’t NY, but that’s much different than “nothing to do”. Comparing mega cities to smaller cities are apples to oranges comparisons, but it’s not the same as nothing to do.
  19. As someone who grow up in a small town, I’ll never the crowd who says a city has nothing to do. I think you need to look at yourself that point.
  20. I was making the point that you can call smoking dumb, but there’s a lot of people causing themselves harm. It might just be in different ways than previous eras, so smokers aren’t the only ones making bad decisions. Trying to defend you bro, I’ll let you fight your own battles.
  21. Additionally only 14% of Americans smoke compared to years past, and although I’m not encouraging it, how many drug addicts do we have that didn’t exist in previous eras?
  22. Wishing Feliciano a speedy recovery. I am a little curious about his Twitter covid timeline, and was just wondering if someone more in the know could help me understand. I’m confused how he’s in the hospital Sunday, then apparently sent home/hotel, then gets monoclonal antibodies on Tuesday. If the hospital deemed him healthy enough to release, is the monoclonal antibody treatment just a personal request these guys have access to? I’d think if it was deemed medically necessary it’d be done while admitted to the hospital. I’m not looking for any controversy or debate, just curious if anyone could enlighten me.
  23. I thought Bease was irreplaceable last season, but the production hasn’t been there this year. When he has produced, he hasn’t looked like anything special. Plug McKenzie into the role, and see what he can do.
  24. I hope Cole gets well soon if he has symptoms, but honestly he hasn’t been a huge factor this season. It’s a loss, but Bease being out shouldn’t be the reason we lose. We’ve gone much of the season without Bease production. Now I’ll let everyone get back to heated off topic debates.
  25. The stadium in OP is a little over an hour drive from the Rochester area. Regardless of how many ticket holders are from Rochester, that’s not a significant distance. There’s plenty of NFL markets where it takes an hour to drive from suburbs to the stadium. Syracuse is extremely inconsequential, I’m willing to guess the percentage of season ticket holders from that area is relatively small. The Syracuse folks who do make the drive clearly aren’t worried about it. These are the Buffalo Bills, fans in other areas of NY should never factor into the decision making for building a stadium.
