  1. I remember when diners and cafes served reasonably priced greasy food everywhere you went. We still have the basic fast food places, but the health food craze reduced burger joints greatly. I’ll take a burger place over almost anything, but I also think a simple burger and fries should be relatively inexpensive. It blows my mind what people in the suburbs are willing to spend on a cheap burger you could find at Woolworth’s for dirt cheap in the day. I actually thought they’re worse.
  2. I’d be surprised to see him in the Super Bowl this season. The Bucs caught some huge breaks last postseason.
  3. We’re really playing with fire at this point. If Josh scrambles on a called pass, I don’t want to take away that part of his game, but he’s treating himself like the running back we don’t have on these called runs. Josh isn’t Cam Newton, he doesn’t need called run plays to be a successful QB. Don’t expose him to the type of wear and tear that devastated players like Newton. Josh is twice the running back of anyone else on our roster, but that doesn’t mean he needs to be used accordingly.
  4. It’d help if Daboll would quit with called QB runs. Josh needs to learn how to protect himself, but the extra hits resulting from called runs aren’t necessary. Josh has one of the greatest arms football has ever seen. Why in the world must we call a QB sweep in the red zone with a lead in the forth quarter? I trust that he can do it with his arm.
  5. Good to know Wentz is still garbage. Reich is working miracles being able to make him look decent sometimes.
  6. I’m just happy to know it’s not just me. Turf needs to be a solid color. I find it very difficult to follow with the different tones.
  7. I realize my eyes are aging, but is it kind of tough on the eyes watching a game with Indy’s turf?
  8. I’d be more concerned about the use of a draft pick for Zach Wilson if I’m a Jets fan.
  9. That was the most typical Jets play ever.
  10. Chant kind of makes in the context of what a soccer player does. I don’t want Josh to be everywhere, I want him in the pocket throwing strikes.
  11. True, but you didn’t have to hear everyone’s opinion on it for the next ten years.
  12. Society as a whole is toxic because of the internet. I’m not a Chiefs fan, but I don’t think there’s much to see here.
  13. Never lost a Super Bowl with the standing Buffalo either.
  14. This game is teaching me the AFC is superior.
  15. Embarrassing to be a 7-0 team playing a “home” game in Phoenix to a bunch of Midwestern people.
  16. I think they would seem more legitimate in St.Louis. There’s something about their vibe in AZ that seems like a CFL team. St.Louis is a better sports town than Phoenix.
  17. They can win all they want, but for some reason the Cards never feel like a real NFL team to me.
  18. We’d be going crazy if we called that backward pass play. Seems so high risk vs the reward.
  19. The Packers just keep winning, and Rodgers always has great numbers, but I’m never in awe like I am watching other elite QB’s.
  20. That’s a good point, they’re making money, and that’s all that counts. The NFL has been on auto pilot for years, with its natural increase in popularity bringing huge profits. I think if I were an owner I’d be slightly concerned that chaos could cook the golden goose if it keeps up. I’m not able to fully attribute the increase in profits to Goodell. I think it’s more of a natural increase brought on by various factors, and I think the NFL succeeds in spite of Goodell, not because of him. You’re correct though, Goodell has a job as long as profits are soaring.
  21. I don’t care what “side” you’re on with this, I just wish everyone could admit that Goodell is a disaster. The NFL has had nothing but controversy during his reign. Some of it was on him, other times not so much, but he’s never done anything to bring calm or clarity to a situation.
  22. Yes, I see the Bucs and Packers as the top two teams. That weakens the entire comparison, because both teams have aging QB’s. They aren’t setup for sustained dominance like the 80’s 49ers, or 90’s Cowboys.
  23. Titans and Steelers games seemed pretty tough.
  24. I don’t want to sound like the egoistical person that tells people to get out more, but sometimes comparing things is the only way to prove a point. People who think traffic flows smoothly in OP strike me as those who haven’t attended events elsewhere. That’s fine, I’m not picking on anyone, but the traffic in OP is worse than average for an NFL venue.
