  1. My family has some huge Penn State fans, so there should be a soft spot for that team in my heart. However, I’ve never done such a 180 on a sports team in my life. Just as I was beginning to come back around, they hire Franklin. The guy loses and comes across as completely unlikable. I know many fans feel similarly, so I don’t know how they can stick with him much longer.
  2. I enjoy college football more than pro ball at this point. The Bills are the only thing that keep me interested. It’s closer to the form of football I grew up appreciating. The NFL seems more in the entertainment/story line business. I just wish there were more relevant teams in the northeast, creating better fan interest in these parts. Water cooler football talk is always fun, but you don’t get it with college football up here. That’s another factor why I still keep up with the NFL.
  3. Yeah, I fully believe in CTE and things of that nature, but it’s typically far more complicated. Sanchez was king of USC and a highly sought after recruit. These guys don’t have to follow rules the majority of their lives. Some guys are just good dudes, others are trouble waiting to happen once they enter the real world.
  4. I’ve never loved Brady’s offense, but I can’t blame him much for Palmer’s production. Palmer played with Herbert in LA, he didn’t really produce much. Palmer putting up big numbers would have been a surprise imo.
  5. This independent neurologist bit has always been a joke. Daboll just made it too obvious.
  6. I have a hard time listening to this Herbstreit Michaels broadcast team. They have no energy And what’s with modern broadcasts silencing the crowd so much? The commentators just sound really loud and up front in the mix.
  7. I honestly didn’t even read your post, genuinely sorry you took it that way. I just can’t get on board with the crowd who seriously says “learn Spanish” for the halftime show. Nothing wrong with learning languages, but this learn Spanish or your an idiot crowd has come out. I’m not saying that’s you, I’m just saying I’ve seen it, and it’s dumb.
  8. I wish there were more dates, would love to see them in Buffalo. I am curious how Geddy’s vocals hold up at this stage in life. Some guys sound good forever, but his style is brutal on the voice.
  9. Brightside needed to be retired after the CMAC show in Canandaigua sold out mostly because of the Bills, but the guys who love the song didn’t even show up. It was fun while it lasted, move on for good karma.
  10. Everybody ate last night, but the food sucked.
  11. Our receivers are rubbish. I started to notice these guys don’t even make their way back to the QB when Allen scrambles. There were several occasions on Allen scrambles where they continued to drift deeper. I wasn’t even very impressed with Shakir last night.
  12. I agree, but it’s not insane that people see him as something more than a role player. The team themselves seemed to have greater expectations. I’m not behind the scenes at OBD, but Coleman is utilized in a different capacity than most role players. I can see why people think he has greater potential, even if I don’t agree.
  13. That’s why winning it all seems so far away. He’d need to be flawless for three or four games in a row to win it all.
  14. I agree, even teams like the great KC lose a few tough divisional games each years. However, I also understand why these loses cause such drama. We don’t have a Lombardi and you see the same mistakes repeated. The game reminded me of our playoffs loses. Once again we even find ourselves with zero timeouts in the final possession. I think McD is a very good coach, but he doesnt seem to learn or evolve.
  15. Lesson learned, leave Penn State traditions where they belong.
  16. Beautiful October night tempted me to attend this game, glad I’m $300 richer.
  17. McDermott needs remedial timeout lessons.
  18. Why do we never have timeouts in these spots? It’s insane.
  19. It’d help if receivers understood how to play as well. I loved Coleman’s jump ball catch on the drive, I’ll give credit when due, but Allen is scrambling all over and guys keep drifting deeper instead of coming back to the QB.
  20. That was a bad route by Coleman imo. I’m not sure why he was already running out of the back out of the zone before the pass even sailed.
  21. I hate the screen pass call in that spot.
  22. I’m always a bit of an Allen apologist, but I agree he’s made mistakes. However, this offensive play calling would make it really hard to get into a rhythm.
  23. Josh Allen is so talented it’s easy to hide most of the time, but against quality defensive coaching it becomes an issue.
  24. Vrabel is a good coach, but they don’t have anyone in that building I’d trust to develop Maye.
  25. Drake Maye is making our defense look elite, so we’ve got that going.
