This is where I disagree with many people regarding football philosophy. Just play to score a touchdown, it will happen how it happens. It’s not the end of the game, I’m not worried about the clock. Who says we can’t stop Baltimore anyway?
Horrible call, and the NFL needs to fix officiating, but that was a really sloppy drive from our offense. We seemed unorganized and disjointed. Something we rarely see with this offense. The play clock almost running out was inexcusable too.
Stafford would be unstoppable if he had any mobility at all. He struggles with pressure from the inside because he can’t move from side to side at all.
I still wonder how the game would have looked had Ben Johnson taken the ball out of Goff’s hands. He was struggling, and the defense needed to stay off the field. It was the perfect time to play the ground game.
Agree, I’ve noticed he becomes terrible after he makes one mistake. It’s like he easily spirals into becoming terrible, while other QB’s move on from their mistakes.
