  1. Yeah, people don’t realize that mental illness doesn’t equal violent behavior. Too much negative behavior is blamed on non existent mental illness. The first step in helping those mental illness is living in a world where people actually understand it.
  2. Very jealous, seems like a great way to get over last week’s loss. Hope all of you down there have a great time.
  3. Crazy to know a mainstream media source can take a sarcastic interview with Pat McAfee, and deliver it to the world as factual information not actually backed by anything. Rodgers toe is irrelevant in the big world picture, but it’s still amazing. I don’t understand how anyone can watch that interview and not sense Rodgers being sarcastic and belligerent about long term COVID. They probably just read the soundbite.
  4. Nerves and anxiety are part of our existence. Many times those feelings are productive, but things like this always sound like a bit much to me. I’m not an expert, so I’m not sure where healthy nerves cross the line to something more, but I just wish Josh could chill. I’ve always been under the belief that calmness prevails in life and battle.
  5. Thanks, I watched the McAfee interview, and his mention of COVID toe seemed very much like sarcasm, or a joke. This was after he cryptically explained what’s going on with his toe. Yes, he has a toe injury, but I’m not convinced we have the real answer why. I suppose we don’t need one, but I’m intrigued how the media has run with Rodgers COVID toe injury without any real evidence, aside from another weird interview.
  6. Has the team officially reported Rodgers has having this condition? I’m just curious, because I find irony in Rodgers sharing his “COVID toe” condition with McAfee, and everyone seeming to believe it. I don’t know what to believe with Rodgers, whether or not he’s even injured, or maybe just creating drama at this point. I never like to doubt injuries, but this dude is too much.
  7. I’m confused about a lot things around here these days. It’s like how Star is overrated and overpaid, but his absence also makes us lose games.
  8. Mike Evans is a frustrating player. He’s a very good football player, but has all the ability to be historically great, yet he seems to lack focus frequently.
  9. I definitely consider Epenesa a potential bust. Everything about him from being undersized to being a square peg the team is trying to fit into a round hole, screams potential bust. He’s made some plays, but his career story has yet to be written. I’m just worried he might end up in the bust category from what I see.
  10. Not sure why every broadcast feels the need for so many Arians closeups.
  11. I’m looking at this from a different angle, as frustrated as we all might be, at least we don’t have a meathead Belichick disciple in charge.
  12. It’s always been tough for me not to see Mayfield as a potential issue. His entire college career was the antithesis of the type of leadership you want from the QB position. Has he really changed that much?
  13. This is a bigger concern than the defensive meltdown to me. We always seem to have one terrible defensive game a year, not that it makes it better, but if we can’t score points, it’s a guarantee we aren’t getting as far as hoped.
  14. Good question, I’ve been very tuned out to Collinsworth. I hear the voice, but not what he’s saying.
  15. Yeah, I think Josh is great, and he’ll be fine, but I wonder how much the O line chaos is in his head right now. I don’t want to get into the “sugar high Josh” nonsense, but his play does look hectic at times. Nothing is coming very easily, including routine plays. This offense makes everything look very difficult, even when they succeed.
  16. Listening to Collinsworth while watching the Steelers style of football is a rough combo.
  17. So you’re telling me Debbie Harry plays for this team. 😆
  18. McD isn’t going anywhere, but I do see the situation as being different from Nagy. Allen is supposed to be an elite QB. Nagy’s had nothing but question marks at QB. The leash is shorter when you have a roster that’s supposed to be competitive.
  19. We’d have to miss the playoffs this season and next season imo.
  20. I know my take probably isn’t popular, but with 17 games this season I expect a little more separation by the end of season. I think we’ll have a better idea where teams stand when the playoffs begin. The teams who are legitimate are going to start getting hot.
  21. They are, but the things that make us “awful” are areas that can exposed by those other team’s strengths. You’re correct, many average teams, but there’s too many teams we don’t match up with well.
  22. I know our defense got destroyed today, so is it weird that I’m more confused by the offense? That was a historically bad defensive performance, but regardless, I want to see more out of Josh. I’m as big of a fan as the next guy, but he’s our future. The defense can always be worked on and refined. I want to see more elite consistency from Allen at this point. I gave him a pass for the Jaguars debacle, but I’d like to see fewer bad games.
  23. I’ve always been all in on this regime, but I don’t understand why McD teams have a strong history of getting blown out several times a year.
  24. Ralph was a gem as a person. He came from the world of old money where having class was considered a responsibility of wealth. Kraft and Jones are prototypes of modern wealth, and NFL owners.
  25. I’m not into Nickelback, but I agree. Every criticism I’ve seen directed towards them could be applied to hundreds of other 90’s and 00’s modern rock acts. I could argue that Metallica’s late 90’s output isn’t all that different from Nickelback in sound. Many of the people who diss Nickelback were the same guys who thought Metallica’s Load album was great. I understand Nickelback sounds like mass produced paint by numbers rock, but that’s exactly what killed rock. They aren’t the only culprit.
