It’d help if receivers understood how to play as well. I loved Coleman’s jump ball catch on the drive, I’ll give credit when due, but Allen is scrambling all over and guys keep drifting deeper instead of coming back to the QB.
I’m always a bit of an Allen apologist, but I agree he’s made mistakes. However, this offensive play calling would make it really hard to get into a rhythm.
Josh Allen is an all time great, but if NFL defensive coordinators can’t figure us out by the end of the season, something is wrong with this league. I’m not sure how long you can go with no downfield passing game.
I was a big Syracuse fan in the McNabb era, so the Eagles became a team I had a soft spot for. Once that was over, and I met a few Eagles fans over the years, my opinion changed.
NFL coaches need to realize experience doesn’t matter at QB when you’re playing a washed up old QB. There’s no good reason anyone should ever be starting Flacco or Wilson.
I’m not going to judge anyone in this situation, but this is exactly why I’m far more passive than I used to be. I’d never escalate any disagreement, because people are so soft, anyone could take the smallest issue to the next level.
