Turning point in the game
Buffalo Junction replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not sure this team took it that way.... The consensus at my turkey watch party was “Damn. They’re desperate and coaching scared.” -

Since the eagles game we’re 4-1 and every victory has been by at least two scores and they’ve controlled the game. They seem to be peaking at the right time. If they keep this up every game down the stretch is winnable. I doubt it’ll happen, but this team could steal the division if they win out and NE somehow loses to the Texans and Chiefs... It’s a damn good time to be a Bills fan. ?. -

You’re probably correct. There will be a few contrarian opinions for sure. Only thing to stop those completely is a SB victory.... or five. Heck, there’s been a “Brady’s done” guy every year for the past decade. ?. Interestingly... the patsies currently seem to literally be shitting themselves right now. ?. Maybe that’s a sign. -

Did they earn the right to be called a good team? Absolutely. However, they haven’t done enough to shut up the talking heads who’re trying to save face on their preseason narratives. Some of those tools will ride their bias until the wheels fall off.... Beating the Ravens or Pats accomplishes that. That’s not BS. Just the simple fact that the narrative won’t change easily because some of those guys still think Allen sucks, Buffalo is a piss pot, etc. Cats like that don’t shut up until they’re forced into it.... None of this bothers me at all. This team is basically one win away from securing a spot in the playoffs. We’ve now seen them rise to the occasion on a big stage... We know that once they’re in the dance they can do some damage... What some doof I’ve never heard of thinks about the team is irrelevant towards my enjoyment of the season. Yesterday, I had a heck of a time eating turkey and doing shots of tequila every time the D line got to Dak and the O found pay dirt. Today I woke up happily hungover. ?♂️ -

Beat the Ravens and/or the Pats and the “ish” goes away. -
Yes. It would put them in competition with Friday night high schools games, and that could be a ratings killer in a lot of markets. Might be fine up north, but down south and in Texas HS football is a big deal. Everyone in those small towns goes to the games, especially in rural areas. Some of those stadiums hold 20,000 fans.

Josh Allen: How season changes after NE game
Buffalo Junction replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree, but I’d be fine with Foster being the #4 or #5 WR if his teams play continues to improve. -

Dallas is also 0-3 against teams with top 10 defenses. ? -

Not sure if posted, but it’s an interesting tidbit on the Bills run blocking scheme. https://www.google.com/amp/s/cowboyswire.usatoday.com/2019/11/27/dallas-cowboys-buffalo-bills-run-concepts-week-13/amp/ -
Josh Allen: How season changes after NE game

Part of the problem with man coverage is that beating it requires talent. Outside of Brown and Beasley this pass catching group is lacking talent.... Now, if a light goes on for Knox or Foster returns to last last season form we’ll be in good shape. I’m not putting money on that though. -
Sean Mcvay opinions?
Buffalo Junction replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The evidence is what’s happened in Green Bay where LaFleur is using a variation of the same scheme. Their offense has been snuffed out a few times this year, and that can’t be blamed on incompetent QB play. Against SF it certainly seemed like the 9ers D knew exactly what the play calls were. They shut down A Jones and then went after Rodgers relentlessly. -

Nah. Just had to think of a joke which didn’t involve Jackson molesting our defense. -

Here’s hoping he doesn’t run the edge so much we’re asking “Manny are you okay?” -

19. The Rams offense failed horribly. I’m not saying ours will do better... just that if you can’t score and slow them down on D you’re screwed. -

I think so. I could be wrong, but we’ll definitely find out. It’s gonna be interesting to see what SF does since we can copy their scheme if it’s effective. -

Yes. However, Jackson was forced to throw the ball 40 times. -

They scored enough that Ingram and the option were basically taken out of the game. IIRC the chiefs had a 17 point lead by halftime -

Jackson can probably beat Edmunds to the edge more often than not. You almost have to use Poyer and a big nickel while scoring a lot early to keep Ingram under 200 yards. -

Only thing that works is spying Jackson with a safety and hitting him so much they change the offensive play calls. -
Any Updates on the Foster Injury?
Buffalo Junction replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not on offense, but Foster’s play on teams is what’s likely keeping Duke on the bench.
