  1. If he had that extra gear and ran a 4.3-4.4 he would have been a top 15 pick with his production.
  2. Or actually gets the PI call Im surprised that no company advertises razor blade and rope discounts on here after Bills loses.
  3. It’s on Allen, Daboll, and the Oline. Can’t expect a guy who still needs to pay attention to footwork to remain accurate when he has to sidestep DTs in <1s. There were deep passes off too (on Allen). Most of the blame goes to Daboll though. We could have come out with a triple option and caught them off guard
  4. That’s was grimy. Seriously how you get shots on your QB during kneel downs later
  5. Key to that is going empty on 3rd and <5 and using QB runs. Allen can truck a LBer.
  6. Jimmy Gs girlfriend has a treatment plan for that which will get OBJ ready for live action in no time. It’ll even allow him to persevere through gonzo shenanigans.
  7. I disagree with the bolded. I think Jackson can develop into a pocket passer. He and J Allen seem to have amazing drive which the Mayfields and RGIIIs lack. It’s going to help them both evolve. Now, Roman’s offense and passing schemes may not help the kid reach the next step of development, and a major injury could certainly derail his career. Jackson has enough tools and will power to improve. The favorable treatment has been interesting to me. I’m certainly on record as saying that Josh has been getting the Cam Newton treatment from refs. Jackson seems to be getting more of the Rodgers treatment. I’m not sure if body type is the difference here or marketing potential for the league. Either way they need to find a way to avoid impacts.
  8. I’m not so sure... With the way the NFL protects chosen QBs there’s a shot for him on a team like the Patriots or Saints. Can you imagine all the puff pieces if he ended sitting behind Bridgewater for two years. ?
  9. He also had over 7 concussions. The last of which caused his retirement. He’s done interviews on it saying that after a few of those concussions he couldn’t remember his sisters name.... It was a different league then, but the risk is still there.
  10. At this point I don’t care about miami too much. Flores looks for real, but the idea of the Patriots getting Tua as a Brady replacement in the second round disturbs me.
  11. I’ll be okay with that. I’m referring to the “gotta roast a top D” crowd though. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to see Allen beat a top QB in a shootout though. It’ll come in due time though. The kid has the clutch/pressure gene.... turns it on in the 4th quarter of games. Seems to improve in the second half of seasons.
  12. They may try to go offense for a HC and retool that side while maintaining defensive continuity. It makes sense if they’re just retooling.... Hard to predict though, especially with their current QB situation.
  13. A fair amount of folks would actually be encouraged if the D gets lit up like the Philly game, but Allen lights up the Ravens and we lose a shootout by a score. At least it makes a statement that our offense can compete with anyone.
  14. He’s actually slipped out between the guard and tackle a few times and connected on passes instead of running. The Beasley TD against Dallas is a good example of this. When DEs try to run the arc against Ford, Allen steps up and to his right.
  15. You mentioned Edmunds speed in an earlier post... Where Edmunds size and speed ratio is most evident is when he’s covering TEs or in zone. He’s as big as your TEs, faster, and has longer arms. He can blanket TEs and seriously shrink expected holes in zone coverage. Milano is a converted safety that can lose a size battle in coverage if the ball is high pointed. However, he’s a dog with excellent instincts and coverage skills. If the passes are off the mark he’ll get a hand on it. Alexander you can beat with speed. You’re probably not going to trick the guy into being out of position or out muscle him though. It’s the coverage matchup I’d expect Baltimore to exploit unless they can get a WR on one of the other LBers. If Milano and Edmunds play disciplined football and don’t leave their coverage assignments early they matchup favorably against your TEs. However, that’s going to come down to how well the DL performs and whether they can resist leaving coverage to attack Jackson on the perimeter if/when he breaks contain. Also don’t be surprised if the Bills stick T White on one of your TEs from time to time. They’ve done that to other teams. As for the WRs... In general you’re going to see a lot of zone coverage. They force teams to nickel and dime their way down the field. That’s accomplished by excellent communication in the secondary coupled with talent. Hyde and Poyer will also change up coverages at the last moment with perfect execution. When big plays happen it’s usually due to a player slipping or being overly aggressive, but they’re aggressive there’s usually a second defender nearby. That said, Wallace can be outmatched physically by larger wideouts. Should be a good game. These teams matchup in some interesting ways that make the outcome difficult to predict. I expect it to pivot on turnovers and discipline.
  16. I thought you changed a random reporters name to Schmuck... Lo & Behold. ???
  17. That’s where I thought it was going to go considering that the Giants and Jests aren’t really comparable at the moment.
  18. Sometimes guys like that can fit in. You can only have so many of them before it changes the locker room though. The Browns have several paired with a few knuckleheads and a coach that doesn’t have control of the team. I’d imagine there are a few teams that OBJ would STFU on and just play.
  19. Damn straight. I don’t need a reminder that I’m depressed and my dick doesn’t work every 5-10 minutes... makes me drink more than the beer commercials ever did.
  20. Fat tire, steel frame, fixed gear.... go get groceries on the thing in 4” of snow and you’ll get a workout.
  21. I’m not sure that they’ll use Edmunds for that role. They could very well park him on TEs all afternoon and use Poyer or Hyde as spies. Part of what makes this game so interesting is that McD and Frazier have had time to draw some things up. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see them crack out some Eagle D with Lorax over the center, or blitz CBs with “contain” assignments on occasion.
  22. Well, QBs are obviously not defenseless when they’re already wrapped up by a tackler.
