We’re basically a team without any weak spots. Schemes, preparation, and discipline give this group an edge and will beat all the mistake prone or talent poor teams. Aside from Tre White were lacking on game breaking talent though. An additional 2-3 big playmakers and an improved Josh Allen and this team becomes a perennial super bowl threat.

Living halfway between Durham and Charlotesville I’ve watched a ton of cavaliers games over the past few years. The kid will bypass underneath routes for chunk yardage, is inconsistent over the middle, and often has issues reading zone coverage. That said, he’s a hell of a person and a hell of an athlete. You’re on point on how he can get hot though. I’d be fine with them spending a 6th or 7th on Perkins. He’s worth taking a chance on. I just don’t think he’ll earn the backup spot.

What Are Your Post Season Expectations?
Buffalo Junction replied to SinceThe70s's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m expecting a divisional round loss unless Allen balls out in the playoffs like he has in 4th quarters. As it stands though, I expect some early game snafus from him being too amped up which we won’t be able to overcome against the better teams. -
I’m a fan of Perine. Not sure how Beane will view his tow truck driver incident. The way he plays reminds me of FredEx too. Kid can find yardage that shouldn’t be there with a decisive cut and leg drive. Not big on Perkins. I’ve watched him for a few years. His big games come from the receivers coming down with 50/50 balls that he shouldn’t throw.

A generation of Qbs coming to a close.
Buffalo Junction replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Rodgers wins another in the next 2-3 years I could see him retiring on top regardless of the money still on the table. He doesn’t seem like the type to hang on once his performance/success drops below a certain point. -
Shenault can do all the McKensie like things while being a viable starter outside. He’d be a great fit. It’s gonna be interesting to see where all these WRs go

Panthers high on Brian Daboll

Potential Kareem Hunt Interest

One of the benefits to Henry is that he’s spent most of his college and NFL career in two back rotations. He’s used to splitting carries and coming in to hammer a defense. Singletary has also proven he can come off the bench and thrash a D. It’s honestly the best two back combination we could have. It’s going to be interesting how that reflects in Henry’s contract though as he’s not really a guy you can use in the passing game. -
Which receiver best fits our scheme
Buffalo Junction replied to Dkollidas's topic in College Football
Shenault would allow for a lot of versatility with base personnel. Everything from running all of McKenzies gadget plays to motioning to the backfield from 5 wide sets. I could see Daboll banging the table for that skill set. -
Tre/Allen for Mahomes Outcome
Buffalo Junction replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still too early in their careers to say. Tre is certainly a hit. Allen still needs to improve. If one of them reaches HOF status it was worthwhile.... I’ll get back to you in 15-20 years. -
Nothing normal about it.... I’d imagine it’d be $1MM guaranteed salary and whatever the playoff per game money is ($50k?). Basically $250k-$1MM a game. ?♂️

I’m sure AB would sign with the saints for less than $1MM to have a SB shot with Brees and improve his image.

Fun Topic: Which WR Do You Choose?
Buffalo Junction replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only if we win a SB. I’d get a few chuckles from winning a SB with cowboy castaways. Primarily because ESPN would hammer Jerry Jones the whole offseason. -
Why is CJ Anderson not on a team??
Buffalo Junction replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Anderson is 28. -
With rookies there’s always an “if”. ?♂️ Knox has to improve. If he doesn’t he will be replaced like every other player, including Allen and Oliver. Knox has a relatively high ceiling, the dropsies will assure a low floor.... just like Zay Jones. My opinion on Allen is that a large portion of his accuracy issues stem from poor footwork and inconsistent fundamentals coupled with inexperience. That can be mostly fixed with diligence. However, I think he’ll always have a penchant for a few WTF throws here and there like Favre. I wonder Palmer will let Knox shag balls at QB camp.
