Let us pray that BB doesn’t find a Rodgers level talent to replace Brady. I kind of feel for Vikings fans having to deal with their rival having back to back HoF QBs. After those losses the caught the losing side of the Herschel Walker trade followed by almost 40 years of packers dominance.

Not that I’m aware of, but I can’t rule out a distant cousin. -
TSW Mock Draft 1.0 - Complete

Making it known. Pick 20 (jaguars) may be available for any team looking to trade up. Pick 30 (GB) May be available for any team 18-27 that wants to trade down. Pending prospect availability. -
Horrible QBs. IIRC, he played with 7-8 QBs over three years. He had a fair amount of drops, but the fourth lowest percentage of accurate passes from QBs. https://mobile.twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1222633013642694656 There are other WRs I like more for this team, but I wouldn’t be upset with Reagor at all. The pick would make sense, especially if they nabbed a guy like Van Jefferson or Claypool later in the draft.

TSW Mock Draft 1.0 - Complete

I’ll take on a second team as long as it isn’t the Ravens. I’m assuming we’re going to do this during the day tomorrow.... -
He’s 5’ 11” which is big enough when his other plus traits are taken into account. Namely, he’s one of the fastest WRs in the draft, can change directions at the drop of a dime, high points the ball very well, and has exceptional ball tracking ability on deep throws. I’ll be interested to see what his vertical (supposedly 40”) is as he can elevate and ***** the ball over bigger CBs. He’s also electric with the ball in his hands and can break the game open with bubble screens and jet sweeps. The biggest downsides are his concentration lapses and TCU route trees. I’d be content with him in the 1st. I’m not huge on highlight videos, but they provide some insight into the upside.

McShay - Bills pass on WR and take RB Swift in 1st.
Buffalo Junction replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they’ll be looking to fill WR or Edge in the 1st. Possibly OT if someone drops and it’s a clear BPA. As for RB. I think they want some size to fill a complimentary role. Explosiveness likely isn’t as important to them as versatility. Moss and Perine can both catch. Perine has experience lining up outside and in the slot coupled with enough speed to not get caught from behind. Moss is more of a versatile hammer, although I worry about him always playing hurt. There are other players though. One I’m keeping an eye on is Ke’Shawn Vaughn. -

Agree. They’ll be looking for a bigger back that can catch to compliment Singletary. There will be plenty to choose from 3-5. -
Greg Olsen visiting Bills, Redskins, Seahawks
Buffalo Junction replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There will likely be a large difference in their salaries. Possibly by $10MM/yr. That likely sways people’s opinions. That and we paid Kroft to rehab most of the season. Most would love McB to sign Green at a relative value. -
Deebo Samuel/Laviska Shenault
Buffalo Junction replied to RyanC883's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What matters more to me is that Samuel shredded Clemson for 10 receptions, 210 yards, and 3 TDs. The kid played against top talent and could beat every type of coverage in the SEC. -

I’ll take any team in the NFC North most of my family and a lot of friends follow those teams. Preferably Packers and GB since half of them live in Sioux Falls, Milwaukee, GB and Minneapolis. -
Browns hiring Alex Van Pelt as OC
Buffalo Junction replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it’s a pretty good fit actually. Mr State Farm threw a tizzy when Van Pelt was let go in GB. His relationship with Rodgers and his own playing experience likely provides more clout than some other possible hires. That’s probably needed when dealing with Baker. -
A 0.2 yard improvement is certainly modest to say the least. There were enough variables in Tenn to add ambiguity to the statistics: offensive coordinator, QBs, linemen, etc. Had a pretty bad year his last season there compared to how he performed in Buffalo. I’m fine with Spain coming back at a decent price. There might be some cost effective upgrades available though.... it’s nice not worrying about what Beane is going to do. Definitely beats the last two decades. I’d love for someone to post Singletary’s run charts. Gores as well. Off the top of my head though it seems like the A gap between Spain and Morse was often clogged, and Singletary did a fair amount of jump cutting behind to follow Dawkins. Now, part of that could be due to traps, etc where one missed a reach block or a TE/FB missed a block. Not sure.

I’ve commented on this a few times. It’s also harder on some linemen to block for a scrambling QB. I think Allen’s protection calls will improve with his experience level. What concerns me more with the Oline is their ability to win at POA in the run game. Particularly on inside runs. I’m not sure how much of this falls on Gore’s legs falling off mid season, but there certainly wasn’t enough drive to make up for that. QB sneaks aside our short yardage ground attack was bad. Perhaps it was just Ds being able to cue on Gore and Lee Smith.
-
I’m pretty sure Thuney and Scherff are going to sign in the neighborhood of $13MM-$14MM. I doubt Beane wants to pay that for a G, but I could be wrong. Still, we should start looking at some of the guys in Spain’s tier or slightly above. Graham Glasgow (det) comes to mind. No clue if he fits what Daboll wants, but he’ll probably be in that $6MM-$8MM range.
-
I think he might be referring to the RPOs in the red zone, but who knows. I think you’re correct about Daboll treating Allen like a more developed and experienced QB. I think Daboll falls on the sink or swim side of QB development, and Allen’s ability to grow and mature has lead to Daboll putting too much on his plate at times. Considering Allen’s seemingly bi-annual performance improvements Im not sure that Daboll has taken the wrong approach. Time will tell, but some guys do better with everything on their plate. Allen’s had some bad moments because of this. However, he always rebounds and improves. Daboll is likely playing a long game here and willing to let Allen take his lumps early.

PFF's Big Board (I know I know, but hear me out)
Buffalo Junction replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not big on trade ups, but we’ve done a good job since Beane has arrived (post Zay). I do like what I’ve seen from Epenesa though, so if Beane’s all in on the guy I’m okay with it. That said, I expect him to address any perceived holes before the draft. -

They don’t need to replace McKenzie with another Smurf. SF uses Deebo Samuel for the same type of plays. The aforementioned Cordarrelle Patterson is bigger than Shenault. Certainly possible. It’s difficult to predict where a lot of these guys go before the combine, team visits, etc. There are usually a few surprise picks (Daniel Jones) every year too, which can make other guys (Oliver) drop. -

Well, this is who they met with at the senior bowl. Michigan EDGE Josh Uche Utah EDGE Bradlee Anae Arizona State WR Brandon Aiyuk Notre Dame WR Chase Claypool Liberty WR Antonio Gandy-Golden Arizona State RB Eno Benjamin Uche is definitely on the radar. I still think that Beane has a hard on for Epenesa, and might trade up to the mid teens if he lasts like Edmunds.
