Too-early prediction - Last Place in AFC East ???
Buffalo Junction replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was laughable. At least now we know who Darnold caught mono from. -
Is Ruben Brown HOF Worthy ?
Buffalo Junction replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO, Brown was a bit better than many here are giving him credit for. That said, he’s a clearing the HOF list guy if anything. As for Moulds... definitely WOF worthy. -
Bills Top the League in Player Continuity
Buffalo Junction replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they have Bridgewater on a perfectly fair contract though. $21MM/yr is just about right for a game managing starter QB with the current money getting tossed around. Honestly, there needs to be a lower bracket for guys like that in order for some of these teams to remain competitive. Waiting to see this Mahomes deal as that should stabilize the QB market when coupled with suppressed revenue from Covid. We shall see though. -

Buffalo Junction replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of these guys like Brown and Evans get inducted down the line. Particularly if they continue with the senior enshrinements. 20 years down the line people may look back and wonder why a guy with those pro bowl and all pro nods wasn’t voted in earlier. We should also remember that the guy could continue broadcasting and stay relevant because of that. -
Luke Kuechly Interested in Coaching
Buffalo Junction replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That list neglects position coaches and coordinators though. There’s no Gill Byrd, Leslie Frazier, Edgar Bennett, etc. Then there are the guys who do not want to deal with the NFL grind and coach at the HS level instead: Mike Alstott, Kurt Warner, Terrence Mathis, Jon Kitna, Jeff Saturday, Mark Brunell, etc. A lot of these guys retire, get the bug, and start coaching high school. A few like Mike Singletary, Bennett, etc then move back to the NFL after their kids are older if the passion grows. It tends to be a different time table than the backups. -

Jake Fromm: Controversial comments
Buffalo Junction replied to Elite Poster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously. There’s a substantial difference between a high schooler at some podunk town and a starting QB for an SEC team. Jake Fromm State Farm should have known better. He’s spent time in a diverse locker room at a large school and been prepped on social media conduct, interviews, etc. HUGE DIFFERENCE between the two. -
Ed Oliver Tilted 3 Technique
Buffalo Junction replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tilting a 3 tech has very few uses, but they are notable - at least at lower levels of competition. It can dictate blocking schemes because he’s aligned perfectly to penetrate and chase a pulling guard behind the LOS. A good gameplan if an opposing offense relies heavily on sweeps. Can also help with stunts and blitzes by occupying an extra blocker. In the NFL though most blockers are so athletic and experienced that they can adapt to the situation, change line calls, etc quick enough for this to not matter. -
Vikings fans aren’t particularly educated about this team. Another comment made light of our training facilities being old and rundown. ?♂️ I’m sure there a little fire causing the smoke. That said, a change of scenery could easily fix the issues. Particularly if he shows out and the fans get behind him. Very few fanbases can be as vocal and supportive as Bills Mafia. I think he’ll probably benefit from playing with Allen too, as I can’t recall the Vikings having a fiery on field competitor at QB during Diggs tenure.

The Draft is a total crap shoot...
Buffalo Junction replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
She may be a “gold digging psychopath”. However, the fact that he kept banging her is indicative of poor decision making, especially when he was looking at NFL money. My comment wasn’t solely based upon Hill and Hunt though. It’s about Reid’s perpetual affinity for playing with fire in the form of reclamation projects going back to the Eagles. As for Reid’s time with the Chiefs.... Frank Clark and Justin Cox had DV incidents in college. There’s also Roy Miller, etc. and that’s not including the non-domestic violence issues like Brashaud Breeland. Since Reid has been HC there the team has had more off field incidents than every team except the Dolphins and the Browns - who have both been woefully dysfunctional. Perhaps it’s just a Chiefs problem though. I mean the year before Reid arrived Belcher killed his girlfriend then drove to the Chiefs practice facility and shot himself in the head in front of Scott Pioli. ?♂️. My point though is.... Keep playing with Fire and eventually you get burned. They take a lot of chances to maximize talent. It works, but there are drawbacks. -
The Draft is a total crap shoot...
Buffalo Junction replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought their strategy was to draft pure BPA regardless of ???. Drug use and domestic violence certainly seem like a secondary concern to Reid. Perhaps it’s him trying to “save” guys after what happened with his son. No clue, but they have a lot of talent with off field issues or odd personalities. -
Rewatching the ravens game tonight
Buffalo Junction replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Separation, and separation that is synchronized with the QBs progression are different things. My impression at the time was that they weren’t meshing. Whether that’s on Allen, Daboll, the WRs, or some combination is certainly up for debate. The fact that they traded for Diggs leads me to believe that the staff felt they needed help at WR to overcome these deficiencies. -

^^^ This ^^^ Plus, without receivers getting separation those pressure packages cannot be beaten with deep shots & max protection or quick strike passes. -
Chiefs and Mahomes extension 40MM per year?
Buffalo Junction replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Comes from Latin. “M” was for thousand and “MM” for a thousand thousands. -
Zack Moss runs a 4.52 40 yard dash
Buffalo Junction replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The key with Dillon is that he was drafted by Henry’s old OC. LaFleur probably has a strong desire/need for that particular physical skill set, and they overdrafted to ensure the pick. -
Zack Moss runs a 4.52 40 yard dash
Buffalo Junction replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t see it that way. If you look at all the mocks pre and post combine Moss was sort of positioned by himself behind the top group of RBs (Taylor, Swift, Dobbins, etc), but ahead of the rest (Dillon, Perine, Vaughan, etc). Dillon bumped up with his combine, and I think LaFleur wanted a Henry type badly. Regardless, the kid can play and his skill set pairs well with Singletary’s. I’m happy he’s on the team. Particularly because he’ll be coming in as one of the better rookie pass blockers at the position. Seriously, go watch the tape and you’ll see him truck some edge rushers and stonewall a few DTs. -
Aaron Rodgers speaking to reporters Friday
Buffalo Junction replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gutekunst and “the straw hat” haven’t played this right at all. They’re trying to play a middle ground and screwing the pooch. This is evidenced by cuckolding themselves with that massive extension. If they were going this route they should have let Rodgers play on the previous contract and traded him without the monstrous cap liability. The issue is compounded by poor drafting which has existed since Schneider left for Seattle. I have no issues whatsoever with drafting a QB early. The problem is that they went hard in FA for pass rush and let their offense dissipate while extending Rodgers. Love is going to need weapons as well, and with all the money allocated to those contracts they’re extremely limited. The only recourse would be trading Rodgers for an insane haul that makes the Mack compensation look like an appetizer. -

A little different when your spine’s just been put back together with hardware from Home Depot. ?♂️. Not that Rodgers isn’t an ass.... but.... we’re seeing teams load up for late career runs with top QBs. The Packers should have done something to signify that they want to win besides letting their starters walk over the past five years without replacements. -
NFL's 29th fastest offense
Buffalo Junction replied to Cripple Creek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speed in the front seven doesn’t really concern me since Milano and Edmunds are the guys that’ll be running. Plus, reaction time and quickness/burst matter more in the box than 40 times. That’s where Hughes, Addison, etc excel. Our speed seems to be concentrated down the middle of the defense with Oliver, Edmunds, Hyde and Poyer. Those guys generally do a damn good job of utilizing range to limit big plays. My biggest concern is CB2 getting caught on an island during a safety blitz. McD seems to be willing to compromise on speed a bit in order to stock the defense with guys that are going to be in the right place at the right time, so they won’t need the extra speed to make up for bad recognition and anticipation. It’s worked so far. -
Check out this collison by Zack Moss.
Buffalo Junction replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Possibly the most complete back coming out. Really can’t recall another back putting better pass protection on tape. I had him pegged as our possible round three pick, and I’m happy as a pig in slop. More-so because pre-combine I had Epenesa as a possibility for our first round pick. Everything after those picks was gravy to me. Lol. Kind of wish we’d nabbed Bryce Hall, but aside from that. I’m smiling like a dead pig in the sun. -
9 seasons starting with a probowl nod one year is solid for the 28th pick in the draft. Particularly when the guy played here instead of with a team that grants de facto probowl votes.... Honestly, what’s your opinion on the guys Kent Hull played beside in comparison to the talent Wood had next to him? Let’s call Richter and Incognito a wash.... I’m pretty sure Ballard and Wolford were better than any tackles Wood played alongside. I’d say Dawkins and Fina are a wash. Then there’s Ruben Brown..... Life’s easier for a center when he’s playing with a bunch of other probowl linemen and the guy directing protection calls is a future HOF QB. Just food for thought.

PFF with the ultimate Bills troll job

May I suggest that in the future PFF’s data should just be provided with a screenshot or copy & paste instead of a link???? I mean ***** their clicks. ?♂️
