  1. Other possibilities are guys that McD knows well like Mike Shula, Pederson (if fired), Matt Nagy (if fired), Mike Kafka, Chudzinski, etc. It’ll be someone with an Andy Reid or Carolina connection. Dorsey is the obvious choice, but if Pederson is available and willing to take that position I’m not sure McD passes up on that opportunity. Wishful thinking for sure. That said, it might mean that he’d pass on HC jobs with dysfunctional franchises like the Jets. No way he passes up a gig like the Eagles or Falcons though who have stable owners.
  2. Fulgham looked substantially better that Jeffrey has since his return. Not getting him on the field more is perplexing to me.
  3. He’s 6’4” 215 and surprisingly agile for that size. Doesn’t have a big vertical or great speed to go with that size, which is part of why he could never beat out other more physically talented WRs. Rodgers liked him because he’s a solid route runner that seems to work towards the QB or soft spots between zones when the QB is out of the pocket. Whether all that is innate or due to his relationship with Rodgers IDK.
  4. I enjoyed how the Oline basically iced Bosa and ignored his explanations.
  5. McD mic’d up was cool..... Then they spent the whole time talking about Brady. As usual, not worth watching. Status quo since they left HBO and and stopped talking about football. 🤷‍♂️
  6. Nope. Kellen Winslow aside, TE was a very different position before the late 90’s though. If those stats get a TE to the probowl that says something about how the position has evolved.
  7. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Tremaine Edmunds father go to the probowl twice in the late 80’s early 90’s as a dolphin?
  8. I took Tua getting benched as confirmation that teams cannot break the Fitz cycle without incurring the wrath of Papa Legba.
  9. Which they might not have done if The Majik Man hadn’t been injured. Let’s not forget that they drafted the kid from Depew who would lead the league in passing yards in 1989. Damn shame, but rotator cup injuries back then were career tragedies for QBs.
  10. He isn’t, and that’s what has every Bills fan excited. One thing I’ve been wondering is.... What if he takes another step this year like he has during off time the previous two seasons?
  11. Unfortunately that doesn’t take into account how effective he is in other aspects which now define QB play along with passing. Most notably it leaves 6 touchdowns out of his statistical ranking. He bumps up to 6th if you use QBR instead. Also, if you use total touchdowns he’s #5 instead of #8. He has room to grow for sure, but I’m inclined to put him closer to 5 than 10 right now. The reason for that is he’s Top 10 in every passing statistic, #6 in QB rushing yardage and #3 in QB rushing TDs. We’re also 3rd in the league in (offense) 3rd down conversion percentage. The last stat is a large part how this team is winning games with close statistical margins.
  12. It certainly happens. I just don’t think he has the athletic ceiling to put up Mack or Watt type of numbers, which is why he wasn’t a first rounder. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him turn into one of those 7-10 sack type of guys. Coming out I was more impressed with his ability to disrupt than his pass rushing.
  13. I think he actually admitted to being wrong about Allen after the Raiders game. Cowherds opinion shifts like the wind according to what he thinks will get traffic though.
  14. He’s surprisingly good at hand fighting. Seems that a big issue though is recognizing blocking angles and combo blocks quick enough to respond before they get into his body. He’s dedicated enough to get there and seems to be improving as he gains experience. I think a year of NFL 🏋️‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ along with that drive will get him to a point where he’s a reliable starter. I don’t think he’ll truly be a top end DE though unless he somehow manages to get back up to 280ish without losing any explosiveness.
  15. In hindsight the Janikowski pick wasn’t as bad many others. At the very least he solidified their kicker spot for almost two decades. That first year was brutal though. IIRC he only connected on around 70% of his kicks that year and the fans wanted Al Davis to stop making picks.
  16. I hope they brood for two weeks and hate everything living by the time their season restarts.
