  1. The compromise is 8-packs of 500ml Carlsberg cans for $13.99, or 4-packs of euro pilsners and swartzbier for $6.99 😉
  2. And it needs the blessing of the owners if you want to maintain job security if it fails.
  3. Ross supposedly has Klippel-Feil syndrome which is a serious concern. No clue how it presents for him, but a substantial portion of individuals with it also end up with additional abnormalities.
  4. Odds that the jets will be killing it in 2025 after trading these 2022 first rounders for picks in the 2025 draft?
  5. Coupled with McKenzie these things actually apply to spread formations as well. They can legitimately run “five wide” and have two running options (three of you count Allen). They might even be able to spread out 11 or 12 personnel to create matchup nightmares which could be deadly in a no huddle. It’s gonna be fun to see what they do with some of these personnel groups this season. There’s certainly more schematic flexibility with the additions they’ve made thus far.
  6. Is Aaron Jones? Heck Alvin Kamara started his career as a 3rd down back and remained just that until Ingram was suspended for four games. We don’t know how these guys will develop over their careers, especially before they take a regular season snap. Cook has elite athletic traits, 4.4 speed, the frame size to add another ten pounds if need be, and he can line up in the slot and run routes. He also works out with Singletary, so there aren’t any issues with those guys getting along in a committee approach. I’m all for waiting to see how much juice this kid has. If he ends up being a third down back that might be okay too…. I’d be happy to have a Darren Sproles, Kevin Faulk, or Eric Metcalf on the roster.
  7. Definitely anomalies. I have to wonder about changes in the league though…. We’re starting to see some of these slot receivers and flankers become primary targets in offenses. There may be a place (particularly in man schemes) for smaller highly athletic corners that can track and mirror some of these track star receivers. I don’t think we’re there yet, but more of the 5’8-6’ WRs with slighter frames are being used in motion. How defenses counter that personnel shift is going to be interesting. At the end of the day I’d rather not see McBeane take the risk of drafting atypical corners to combat that….. unless it works lol.
  8. Mark McMillian? The issue might be looking at outside draft prospects only. Generally speaking wingspan matters, especially when dealing with a lot of the longer receivers in the league. There are certainly some quality players at the 30”-30&1/2” though…. Especially if we include slot corners.
  9. One has to wonder how much of that is Becton on his own and how much is the Jets culture rubbing off on him. … ”I eat because I’m depressed. I’m depressed because I’m a Jet.” 😉 😂
  10. I believe it’s handled by the nfl office now and the teams can’t wave the fines anymore.
  11. Yeah….. My dick ended up in a video on pornhub after an ex ended up trading her old phone for drugs years later…. This isn’t even a blip on my radar. If you consent to pics expect them to end up being seen by others. Fact of life in this digital age.
  12. We’ll see if his ability to read the field evolves, but Howell reminds me more of Fitzpatrick than Mayfield (height aside). Similar body composition, throwing motion, moxy, and streaky play.
  13. It’s historically been special teams for them as well, especially since Rodgers has been there. Just goes to show that teams matter when it comes to roster construction.
  14. Yes. Most LBers are replaceable. I doubt they’ll find a guy with Edmunds physical abilities as the guy’s a freak. However, a more instinctive player could very well outperform him in several ways.
  15. I’m not against any positions; especially trench players. An all pro or multiple probowl trench Player on either side of the ball is 100% worth the 25th pick in the draft. Particularly when they’ll be locked into a low cost 5-year contract. LBer can be considered cost control on a necessary position. As much as Edmunds is solid, his lack of splash plays and intuition means that a player coating $3MM a year may be much better value than Edmunds at $10MM+ a year.
  16. It’s certainly difficult to bet against the kid. He’s showed up in several big games and made plays.
  17. I have been known to do this…. Roll a doobie. Lay in bed. Fall asleep to the smooth monotonous apathy of Belichick. “Yeah. He’s a good player. No. We didn’t. 96 played a good game. Yeah, he’s hard to defend. We game planned for that.”
  18. There will certainly be using a lot of motion and other tactics to gain favorable matchups and force defenses to reveal coverages. It’s going to be interesting to see how McD and Frazier counter all of this. Fortunately, there are plenty of examples of this type of offense in the NFL now. I’m still interested to see how Dorsey evolves this offense with OJ Howard, etc. Definitely looks as though we’re gonna take running the ball seriously this year.
  19. Honestly. I really haven’t paid much attention to him until today…. But likely. A large segment of the population adds “s” to the end of names subconsciously.
  20. There’s also the possibility (however unlikely) that McDaniel’s figures out how to unlock Lynn Bowden in that Deebo Samuel role.
  21. Correct. Rinse off the brush, get excess water off of it, add toothpaste, brush for two minutes. Adding extra water and/ brushing for less than two minutes reduces the effectiveness of the fluoride in toothpaste. Order should be floss, mouthwash, then brush with soft bristled brush. Do not rinse afterwards. 🤷‍♂️. Technically correct, but none of us do this. Most of us also store our brushes in the open so they can collect fecal matter too.
  22. IIRC, the bears are carrying around $50 million in dead cap this year.
