  1. If Mike Williams loses 15-20 excess lbs, that might give him enough added quickness to absolutely dominate in his pass blocking assignments. The future is still bright for this guy. I'm thinking perennial Pro Bowler if his dedication continues (and it has been since that first rough week of preseason).
  2. stevestojan T-Bone billsfanone Rosen KzooMike Shouldn't "no more" also read "Belinda?"
  3. I hope we have the same weather conditions for the Rams home game in a month.
  4. njsue, you should give your gameball to the offensive line. You've been hard on them all year - and rightfully so - but 0 sacks and enough open lanes to give Willis 100+ yds/2 rushing TD's are probably good enough reasons.
  5. Heartbreak, my friend. Us negative folk here trained ourselves to avoid the heartbreak.
  6. Yes I do, because I'm now officially going on record as saying the Bills will LOSE next Sunday to the Jests!
  7. I'm enjoying my delicious crow right now, njsue!
  8. Considering the gameplan and the adverse weather, Drew did just fine today. But before we anoint him as our starter through 2005, let's at least see how he performs over the next 2 VERY critical division games.
  9. I feel great!!! I'm also guaranteeing a Bills loss to the Jets next Sunday...
  10. Link 18 takeaways for the Cardinals D? You think Drew and the gang will add to that number - just a bit???
  11. Yes, I must say that over the past 4 years, TD has done an excellent job each offseason of doing the bare minimum to cover his own ass and save himself from getting fired. He does just enough to give fans hope, but his efforts for some reason never materialize into wins. TD, a master of public relations. TD, not a master of football management.
  12. ??? I don't know, that's why I'm starting this thread. Any of you college football guys have some suggestions to get us suicidal fans excited about the NFL again? In my opinion, we need to go OL with that 33rd pick unless an absolute stud playing another position drops down the draft boards for no good reason. So having said that, discussing specific OL college players would be the most relevant to this thread. Peace.
  13. Feel free to check my post history. I've never said Henry was a top 5 back. The highest accolades I've ever given him were when I stated that he was a top 15 NFL back. And I've never said we'd get a 1st round pick for Henry. In fact, as best as I can recall, I've never talked about trading Henry period. Like you, I believe that McGahee is the better back. However, unlike you, I think we can still eventually be a good offense with both on the field at the same time - Henry at HB and McGahee at FB.
  14. And you wonder why Ralph still isn't in the HOF?
  15. Would you like to go back 20 games or 30 games? Ok, we can just stick with this season: Bledsoe's performances this season: Jags: average/good enough to win Raiders: bad Pats: bad Jets: bad for first 3 quarters, great for 4th Dolphins: average/good enough to win Ravens: beyond bad
  16. No that doesn't make you an apologist, unless you still think there is any scenario short of 10 pro bowlers starting on the Bills' offense that can revive Drew's career.
  17. The real good: #5 overall in the NFL for yards allowed per game (#4 for run defense, #6 for pass defense) Not bad, considering the injuries to our secondary. And the real bad: #25 in 3rd down conversion percentage #24 in total forced turnovers (although many other teams have played 1 extra game than us) Similar problems from last year. Not a good enough pass rush from Kelsay's side, plus McGee and Wire have been picked on badly during Vincent's and Milloy's absences.
  18. TD is clearly a master of public relations. Maybe Tom Modrak should get the GM job and TD can stay as President?
  19. For me, it was right after the Texans home game last year. At that point, I had had enough and was beginning to see what Spiked Lemonade and the various Patsies trolls were telling us. Now I suppose I've joined the Dead Horse Beaters Club. They may be annoying as hell, but at least they're right...
  20. By the way, where's AlwaysTheBridesmaidNeverGilbride???? One of my favorite posters.
  21. Nothing. You're right. Let's never put him out on an NFL field because he got injured in preseason and so is therefore "injury prone." Why are you wasting your time talking about JP? Don't you have another anti-Henry thread to start? Didn't we lose Sunday's game because of Henry?
  22. !@#$ing Christ already! No one has been saying we will have a miraculous turnaround once JP starts. All we're saying is that we'd rather take on JP's growing pains now so to have a better shot at the start of 2005, when hopefully new OL are brought in, when McGahee is the starter, and when Josh Reed is no longer on the team. By the way, JP is not made of glass; he's a big boy. He can handle the NFL hits.
  23. Mr. Wilson can start by spending the money on experienced coaches and by not meddling with his GM's to overpay on the QB position (Rob Johnson and Doug Flutie simultaneously, a washed-up Bledsoe from the Patriots).
  24. Huh? All Joey T was saying is that Drew is the biggest problem on the team, not the ONLY problem.
