  1. Come on now. I speak for probably every negative poster here on this board when I say that if the Bills somehow beat the Patriots on Sunday night, then even the most negative of us fans will become believers. But ICE, for all the stevestojan he takes here, is completely right. Until the Drew-led Bills can win a freaking away game, we are not to be taken seriously. Yes, our D is outstanding and so is our new RB McGahee, but last year our D and our RB (Henry) were also about equally as outstanding and we STILL couldn't beat a legitimate team on the road. No doubt I think we're currently a playoff-caliber team when at home. But away from The Ralph, until our new McGahee-led offense proves otherwise, we're still the same old road chokers.
  2. Actually, I think Drew is only taking up $6 million of the 2004 salary cap. But...point taken.
  3. Could we maybe move McGee to free safety and keep Vincent at corner? The free safety is basically the nickel back anyway on passing downs, and McGee seems more of a playmaker on D than either Reese or Prioleau.
  4. "Fast Freddie," yeah right ! Didn't he run a 4.8 in the 40 yd dash last spring? "Fast Freddie" couldn't even beat out Kwame Cavil in a foot race, let alone your standard NFL starting CB's.
  5. All of the Patriots accomplishments, in the past decade since Kraft has been owner, deserve giant fugging asteriks.
  6. Yes, finally the Lawrence Smith experiment is over.
  7. Since when did Tom Brady start playing cornerback? (ZING!)
  8. Reasons for the slow start: 1. Drew sucks. 2. Henry sucks. 3. The OL needed some time to gel.
  9. Vincent should be back for Sunday night's game, although given McGee's play so far, it might be too soon to move Vincent to FS. Lawrence Smith sucks and, God willing, will never start another game for our Buffalo Bills. How this herb won the starting job in preseason over Tucker is beyond me.
  10. I, too, hate it when women refer to me as "sweetie" or "honey." Either follow it up with a courteous blowjob or just ignore me!
  11. but a loss to the Pats makes us 2-3 in the division and 2-6 in the AFC. Assuming we manage to win all final 7 games, a 10-6 record with a 3-3 division record and 6-6 AFC record would disqualify us for virtually all wild-card tie-breaker situations, right? Historically, how many AFC teams with double-digit wins and a .500 or below AFC record went on to make one of the two wild-card slots? I know, I know...the playoffs weren't going to happen for us this year anyway. But the reason why I ask this is because Losman should start as soon as he's healthy AND as soon as we're out of the playoff race. So basically, barring a miracle in Boston Sunday night, could we see JP as early as 2 weeks from now?
  12. This board, and politics in general, would be better served if people were willing to explore the possibility that their side could be wrong and the other side could be right.
  13. Then why in America is the word "liberalism" such a bad thing - bad enough that Kerry had to avoid it like the plague in the debates - while the word "conservative" isn't? Can't ignore the 4 million popular vote margin of victory, either.
  14. crickets. tumbleweed.
  15. Or are even valid and can be counted.
  16. You've lost not only the presidency but also the House and Senate...and maybe even the Supreme Court within the next 4 years. The people have spoken. America is a center to center-right majority, and this will likely remain the case for another decade or two. So take note and stop anointing extreme lefties to compete for high offices. Already I'm hearing people talk about Hillary Clinton in '08
  17. Couldn't you just say that you find Bush's foreign policy wreckless and leave it at that? Why do you have to characterize his administration as having this nonchalant attitude about facilitating Armageddon? Bush and his advisors have families of their own that they care about; I think they'd like to delay the annihilation of mankind for at least their children and grandchildren, right?
  18. Actually, no. That wasn't a good post. Bush is trying to hasten Armageddon? Talk about your scare tactics...
  19. Until the Bills can win an away game (let's try @ NE in 2 weeks), I will continue to spout the "Bills are crappy" drivel
  20. The problem I have with the Libertarian Party is that they are way too much into isolationism, a policy which is neither practical in this era of economic globalization nor safe in this era of nationless terrorist organizations.
  21. Just wondering because I hope Badnarik does really well, even though I decided a month ago to fill out my absentee ballot for Bush.
  22. Eliminating the electoral college will disenfranchise the less populated states.
  23. John McCain would be a pretty good choice, too.
  24. Cybil's ugliness can be seen here in even greater detail. Scroll down a little... Yikes!
