  1. Not so fast, Rubes! The Jets have a BRUTAL 4-game schedule left to play. I'll give them the home win against the Hawks, but the Patriots, Steelers, and Rams games (in St. Louis) could all be losses. Also, the tiebreaker situation with Denver will come down to AFC record. Right now they are 4-4, and we are 3-6.
  2. Assuming the Bills finish 10-6, 3 of these 4 scenarios have to happen: 1. Jets lose 3 of 4, with one of them being against the Pats 2. Ravens lose 2 of 4 3. Broncos lose 2 of 4 (assuming they lose in next 2 minutes to SD) 4. Jags lose 2 of 5 (watch tonight's game against Steelers)
  3. I really have no idea where this comment came from. The worst I have EVER said about Bledsoe on this board is that his play sucks. I've never called out his character outside of the football field, and I've never wished injuries on him like a few others have in the heat of whatever moment. I have no interest in picking fights on a message board. We have obvious differences in how far we think Drew can take this offense and this team. That's fine. You tell me your opinion, I'll tell you yours, and we'll leave it at that. In the past three weeks in particular, it's looking like you could be right about Drew and I could be wrong. OK, that's fine. Darn, so I may lose this argument. But I don't see why you have to call me out like this and tell me to "STFU." I do talk about many other things on this board besides Drew, you know. Some of it you might find insightful. Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, lighten up a little. Also, please stop calling JP Losman "JV Loserman." He's your QB of the future, too, you know...
  4. According to Oneida Lake and BuffaloBob and NJSue, no you don't! In order to love the Bills, you have to think every player is awesome. And since you still have doubts about Drew Bledsoe's ability to take us to the playoffs and beyond, you are not capable of enjoying a Bills win where Bledsoe plays well.
  5. Drew played an EXCELLENT game today. EXCELLENT. While we're still mathematically in the playoffs, Drew deserves to finish out the season. Next preseason, however, it should be open competition between Drew and JP. May the best man win. I'm still not convinced that Drew can get us to the next level (next level being the playoffs and beyond). Nevertheless, I'm giving Drew his due props for coming on strong in the second half of this season when he easily could have tanked it with the rest of the team after that 0-4/1-5 start. Oneida Lake, perhaps you need to STFU yourself. I'm just as "die hard" a fan as anyone else is on this board. But being a "die-hard" fan doesn't mean I can't b!tch when there's stuff to b!tch about. From game 9 of 2002 through game 6 of this season, Drew has mostly sucked. So I called him out for it. Sorry if that p!ssed you off.
  6. The Buffalo Bills will never win a playoff game while Rian Lindell is still the kicker. #1 priority in the offseason is kicker.
  7. I mean, Terrence!
  8. Water Mammal fans = RJ. Mr. Tagliabue, I think I found the team for you to move to LA!!!
  9. 1pm games: Bills over Dolphins Bengals over Ravens Texans over Jets 4pm game: Chargers over Broncos Sunday night game: Steelers over Jaguars
  10. BUMP! 1pm games: Bills over Dolphins Bengals over Ravens Texans over Jets 4pm game: Chargers over Broncos Sunday night game: Steelers over Jaguars Let's circle these wagons!!!
  11. Thank you, cablelady! A voice of reason! Whoever is calling for Drew to screw up this year or get injured... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: And Oneida Lake, "JV Loserman?" Come on. Will you be rooting against him like the people you hate who are rooting against Drew? Two wrongs don't make a right, assclown.
  12. My God, you're right. Punk really IS dead if bands like Good Charlotte are considered its mainstream representatives....ugh.
  13. And think about the teams we are playing over the next 3 weeks: NFL Rushing defenses (ranked by yards/game) Week 13, Dolphins: 29th Week 14, Browns: 26th Week 15, Bengals: 30th
  14. Bills over Dolphins Bengals over Ravens Chargers over Broncos Steelers over Jaguars Texans over Jets Not as important: Browns over Patriots Titans over Colts
  15. You're right. Aside from the Seahawks game, the "we win in spite of Drew" comments are wrong. However, can you validate these comments? 1. "We win because of Drew." 2. "We lost in spite of Drew." Nope. You can't.
  16. I remember Shelton blowing serious chunks the first 4 games of the season, but then again...who on our offense didn't? Now, he's looking like a great free agent pickup. Nice job, TD.
  17. I'm approaching this game with extreme caution as well. 1. Drew Bledsoe is starting. 2. Road game. 3. Division rival. 4. Drew Bledsoe is starting.
  18. Oh, it is? Then my apologies to everyone... Here's where the Jets and Bills schedules differ: Bills: Jags (L), Raiders (L) Jets: Bolts (W), Houston (TBD...) Interesting. So that means, assuming the Bills finish 10-6, that the following 4 of 5 scenarios need to happen in order to make the playoffs: A. Jets lose at least 4, any 4, OR lose to the Patriots and any 2 other games B. Ravens lose at least 3, any 3 C. Broncos lose at least 3, any 3 D. Jags lose at least 2, any 2 E. Texans lose at least 1, any 1
  19. OK, but my point was purely mathematical. If the Jets DO go 10-6, then our only chance with them in a 10-6 tiebreaker is if their 2 wins over the next 5 games are against the Rams and Seahawks. Otherwise, their AFC record will be better than ours...thus they win the tiebreaker over us.
  20. Sprint Football is played by Army, Navy, Penn, Princeton, and Cornell.
  21. Wrong. If the Bills go 10-6, they will have a 6-6 AFC record, 3-3 AFC East record, and 1-1 Jets record. If the Jets go 10-6, they could still have as high as an 8-4 AFC record, 4-2 AFC East record, and 1-1 Bills record.
  22. No, I wouldn't. And as soon as we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, we need to make such a change to find out for sure.
  23. It's all a matter of degree, my friend. Bledsoe has hurt us more than any of those other factors you mentioned. 99% of this board knows it, and now the sluggish media knows it.
  24. That's only if their 9th and 10th wins come against the Rams and Seahawks and not against a single AFC team. In other words, they have to finish no better than this: L Houston L @ Pitt W Seattle L NE W @ St. Louis
  25. For Cincy, yes we will. For Jets, you are correct. We want NE to beat the Jets.
