  1. Is it just me or does the guy sort of look like Robert Downey, Jr.??? Anyway, the guy probably has some sort of mental illness. It's interesting how everyone here is quick to call him "stupid" and so forth, but the reason why he's unemployed and babbling on about government conspiracies in a cockpit may just be because he needs some meds. Go check out "A Beautiful Mind," and you'll see that intelligence has no corollation with mental illness.
  2. Oh DUDE, can't you just last one day without bashing Henry or calling him a pedophile? Did you personally know that 15 year old gas station slut, and that's what this is all about? Because there are so many other players (of higher character) on this team that underperformed - especially in the first 6 games. Maybe you'd like to focus on one of them for a day. You were one of the first people to rip on me when I started my "Drew sucks" crusade last fall. And you know what? You were totally right on that one. There came a point where everyone knew where I stood on Drew, and so I was only annoying the board by continuing to rehash that same tired opinion. Maybe now is the time to take some of your own advice to heart.
  3. Yikes. I somehow missed this post yesterday. Since you seem to be in the business of calling out who's a real Bills fan and who isn't, how do you - a self-proclaimed Bills fan - justify being "indifferent" to a division rival? Ugh. Back to the retirement home you go, old-timer....
  4. Relax. My point was just to remind everyone that the Pats were our original archrivals, before the Dolphins even came along. So basically, our Patsies rivalry goes beyond the Belicheck era, which most people forget. That was all. I just wanted to say that the Pats rivalry is legitimate, too. I agree with you, though, that the Fins still are and always will be our archrivals. Even going beyond the 0 for 70's and the Dan Marino media lovefest during our SB years, look at the city of Miami and their fans....Buffalo and Miami are TOTAL opposites. Plus, Ralph Wilson originally wanted the franchise in Miami before settling for Buffalo in 1959. Yeah, it will take a lot more to kill this rivalry...
  5. Yeah, but after 6/1 we'll also have a $3.2 million dead cap hit for 2006. With Clements and other FA's coming up next offseason, I'd rather just cut Drew before 6/1 and swallow the whole $4.3 million cap hit for 2005 only. Actually, I'd rather just keep Drew as is because we'd only save $1.1 million by cutting him, and that extra $1.1 million will easily be needed for a new vet QB (and then some). Actually, I'd rather have Drew just take a price cut for the sake of the team. Actually, I'd rather have Drew retire...
  6. Clumpy's work on this subject
  7. But weren't the Pats our rivals in the 60's before the Dolphins even existed???
  8. Miami and Moss would be a perfect match. I actually hope it happens. They'd have to trade a fortune to get him. Plus, who's going to get the ball to Moss? Fiedler? Feeley? Ahahahaaha! Man I tell ya, whenever I think too much about the Patriots dynasty, I turn to the Water Mammal franchise and feel much better.
  9. Yeah, but was Philly's schedule that much harder? In fact, I think their schedule was even easier than the Falcons. Let's face it, someone needs to come out of that pathetic conference, and it might as well be a team whose fans aren't complete a-holes.
  10. If TD can't get anything better than a 4th round pick for Henry, then Henry won't be traded. Just my opinion. We're not likely to find a better back-up RB through FA or through Day 2 of the draft, plus Henry's still good insurance in case Willis were to re-injure his surgically repaired knee next season.
  11. We are only 1 QB, 1 K, and 1 starting LG away. Throw in TE if Campbell's and Euhus' injuries are more serious. Of course, we'll also need a butt-load of luck since we play in the toughest division in football.
  12. You may be right, but I still wonder about Denny's QB carousel decisions in the middle of the season while the Cards were still in the NFC playoff hunt.
  13. A Brittany Spears look-a-like who isn't hung up over commitment? Sounds like you hit the Grand Slam in life, my friend! Congrats!
  14. 4 straight AFC Championships in the midst of Marino's and Elway's and Moon's careers. Enough said. Any of you real old-timers who remember the days of the AFL probably appreciate that fact more than us young'uns.
  15. He's referring to me and to one of my posts in a thread about Jerry Gray and the hiring of minority coaches. In it, I wondered why more young black coaches were being passed over for older white retreads like Norv Turner who have already proven themselves to suck. Of course, I didn't say "white" retreads but "cracker" retreads. Keep in mind that: A. I watch a lot of Family Guy, South Park, and Chappelle, and so this type of politically incorrect humor is deeply ingrained in me. B. I'm probably a lot younger than Bill, and Bill may not be familiar with what passes for humor these days among the young whippersnappers...i.e. he overreacted. C. I'm a "cracker" myself. I will take up your wise advice, Bill, and now put you on my ignore list for the sake of keeping the peace. No hard feelings. I expect you'll do the same for me...
  16. Buffalo News article
  17. 23/male/brown eyes/brown hair/likes a good conversation, long walks on the beach....ah sorry. Wrong board!
  18. The best part about getting rid of Henry in the next 2 weeks will be not having to read BINYC's rants on him anymore. The extra draft pick and cap space won't hurt either. For that matter, getting rid of Drew as well may finally bring more unity to this board. At least until ICE returns...
  19. collegeguy: Here's your solution. Go to the nearest ASPCA from the location you found the dog. Bring both the dog and your friend who's interested in owning her, fill out the necessary paperwork, and then wait 6 days for the owner to claim the dog. If no owner shows up after the sixth day, then your friend will be able to keep the collie, and she won't be put to sleep. Good luck, cg. That's a great thing you've done for this dog.
  20. The Lions love former Bills RB's, don't they? Shawn Bryson, Olandis Gary, and now Simonton. Kinda like how the Rams love our DE's.
  21. I wish I had your same sense of hope, MBD, but unfortunately I don't. Cowher's Steelers are soft during the playoffs, and Bellysick's boys have been anything but in the past 3 years. The regular season is the regular season, but the playoffs are a whole different mentality.
  22. Agreed. But I think we're only 1 starting left guard away from having an o-line that no longer deserves to be called a liability (assuming we either resign JJ or find an adequate replacement). I'm wondering if you feel the problems at o-line are greater than this?
  23. I have no problem with open competition for the job, and would gladly welcome Drew back as a backup QB and starter while JP gets up to speed. However, judging by all the rumors concerning TD and Drew's paycheck, this whole argument may be moot by the first mini-camp of 2005. JP, by the way, deserves 2 full seasons as starting QB before we start tearing into him! Any attacks sooner would be too premature. Any attacks later would be fair game, baby!
