  1. That's cool. The Patriots dynasty will eventually fall, the Bills will eventually rise again, but you'll still always be a fat !@#$.
  2. Eh, scratch that thought. Sorry Kurt, but tonight just proved that God does NOT exist.
  3. I nominate "Richard Seymour's Dad" for that.
  4. I've got your back too, bro. I'm by no means a religious person (I'm agnostic), but it's annoying to read all the pseudo-intellectuals come out from the dark whenever a religion vs. science topic comes up. Most of these guys who posted to bash your religious beliefs don't even know the first thing about science, which is even funnier. They just want to feel better about their miserable lives, so they decide to slam a guy who has found religion and who seems to otherwise be at peace with life.
  5. And there we go disagreeing again ! I hope TD doesn't think that 2005 is the year...only in the sense that I don't want him mortgaging our near future for this 2005 season alone. The gap between us and the Pats is still too big, and we shouldn't realistically expect the kind of first-year luck with JP that the Steelers had with Ben... Oh well, one thing for sure is that TD WILL make this an interesting offseason. He always does, which is at least some consolation for his substandard regular season record!
  6. Hey, what do you know? Bill, we finally agree on something! If we want Shelton or Surtain, it would DEFINITELY require more from the Bills than just Henry. I know, I know...supply and demand is a crazy, curious thing... Getting Surtain means probably giving up Clements, and same goes with Shelton and JJ. I'd much rather sign and keep our own, anyway. As for Henry's worth, I still think TD will be able to pull off something like a 3rd AND 4th from a desperate, cavalier Al Davis type.
  7. Albert Einstein published several important papers on physics (yes, quite an understatement) while working at a lowly patent office job. One can only wonder what soon-to-be-legendary works kasper13 has been developing on the side while posting regularly on a football messsage board for the past two years...
  8. There was a group of linemen on the 2001 Patriots roster who, at one point, were thought to be not good enough to protect their QB...
  9. For organized religion, yes. But for religion in general, absolutely not.
  10. I'd root for the LA Bills like I root for the LA Clippers - not at all. And I'd still watch the NFL as often as I watch the NBA - not at all. It's !@#$ing ridiculous to hear rumors of Tagliabue wanting the Bills to leave Buffalo, for 3 main reasons: 1. The Bills still remain near the top of the NFL's attendance leaders, this despite fielding a pathetic team for most of this century and also despite having a population smaller than all other NFL franchises not named the Packers. 2. The Bills are transitioning into a regionalized team (Rochester, Syracuse, and yes even some of Canada) that will maintain good overall profit even as the city of Buffalo continues to collapse financially. 3. The pro sport of American football partly began in this area (along with Ohio and Western Pennsylvania), so there's the issue of preserving a bit of historical tradition here - hey, this argument worked for Cleveland, didn't it? For the record, I'm not at all opposed to us playing 1 game a season in Toronto, but as long as it's the preseason. The more Canadian Bills fans, the more profitable the Buffalo team becomes. But I do agree with most everyone else here that playing an actual REGULAR season home game in Toronto is none of Paulie T's business.
  11. We sure are picking the right time to dispose of Henry. His playbook comprehension level was already Jason Peters-esque before this dress came out.
  12. And long live Tom Golisano after Ralph! Steinberg's 3 teams were Minnesota, New Orleans, and Arizona - er, that's my best guess, anyway.
  13. This isn't such a black/white issue. Before posting, you should have done some background research on the problems with health care in Canada and in Europe (especially in the years to come). When you look at...eh, nevermind... I'll just let the heavyweights in the PPP tear this piece of shiite up...
  14. The real uncertainty with resigning Pat is Minnesota. That team has a lot of money that can be wrecklessly thrown his way (a la Winfield), and the Cottrell connection can't help. As for O-line, call me conservative but I'd rather stick with JJ and Teague (and sign a free agent LG) than get a marquee LT and a bigger C. I don't doubt that we could afford such upgrades, but some of that cap space needs to go towards extending Clements and McGee. Here's my complete need list for free agency: K (no freaking clue...Christie??? ) starting LG (plenty of good ones to choose from) starting TE (Freddie Jones?) backup QB (Kordella?... only if Bledsoe doesn't take pay cut) backup RB (Amos Zeroue would be good...assuming TH is traded) third WR (Peerless??? ) Jonas Jennings Pat Williams Nate Clements (extension) Terrence McGee (extension)
  15. Does Rivera play LG or RG? Anyone know?
  16. WTF? Can someone else (clumping platelets?) elaborate on this?
  17. If her stance on abortion is how you worded it, then no she is not extreme. But if she supports part-term/late-term abortion for reasons outside the woman's health, then yes that is extreme. And if she is against parental notification for reasons beyond parent-child incest and such, then yes that is extreme.
  18. You're right. Drew in the HOF isn't laughable. His early career success may be good enough to get him in, but don't forget that there are also plenty of sure-fire HOF'ers (including QB HOF'ers) who will be ahead of him by the time Drew becomes eligible. His declining career since the late 90's have really hurt his chances. All HOF QB's declined at some point in their careers, but not nearly as bad and for as long as Drew. All in all, Drew's career record in big games, games vs. winning opponents, and road games are so damning that he will need a lot of help to make the final HOF cut.
  19. She is not opposed to late-term abortions and getting abortions without parental consent. Those are widely considered to be extreme points of view on this subject.
  20. Good, then they'll also be quite familiar with his injury history!
  21. 1. PW should cost no more than $2.5 million, since he's almost 32 years old now. 2. JJ should cost no more than $4.5 million, since he's largely unheard of outside Buffalo. 3. The salary cap WILL be extended through 2007. Only a small handful of owners want to get rid of it (Jerry Jones, Snyder, etc...), and why change something that's working? With the cap, the NFL has become the most popular sports league in the US. Without a cap, the NFL could risk becoming the MLB or NHL, two leagues in obvious decline. 4. Grab a new LG, TE, K, slot WR, backup RB if Henry leaves, backup QB if Bledsoe leaves, and we're good to go! 5. Definitely extend Clements. Plus Terrence McGee while we're at it (he's an RFA in 2005)
  22. Agreed. Pats fans are annoying and bandwagoners by nature, but Eagles fans are actual criminals. Go check out a game in Philly someday, and you'll see what I mean.
  23. Sure, Drew's a HOF'er...if you also consider Vinny Testaverde a HOF'er.
  24. Amos Zereoue, Oakland, UFA.
  25. LAME.
