  1. Corporate welfare is a component of laissez-faire ideology? I didn't even read anything beyond that which I highlighted above. It's quite obvious that you cannot differentiate between true free marketeers and the modern Republican political movement. Your opinions on this board, therefore, are worthless for anyone not interested in childish wingnut fights.
  2. I can agree with all the teams in your top 10, plus #1 and #10. But from my own playing experience, this is how I saw #2 through #9: 1. 49ers 2. Bills 3. Raiders 4. Chiefs 5. Dolphins 6. Giants 7. Redskins 8. Oilers 9. Eagles 10. Bears
  3. If Ralph doesn't get in while he's alive, he'll probably never get in. His ultimate legacy - that of some sort of champion for the small market NFL franchises - will be seriously tarnished when the Bills relocate to L.A. or Toronto following his death. His ownership longevity, his early work in the AFL, and his dumb luck with Polian are the only things he has going for him....which I suspect are not nearly as persuasive as a Lombardi trophy (see: Davis, Al).
  4. You are both powerfully stupid and hopelessly partisan.
  5. What a profound statement. And I'd rather eat food than feces. The real Sarah Silverman
  6. KARMA. edit: I retract this post if McGahee's injury is as bad as some of you are suggesting.
  7. When the Bills are hosting the Browns in windy RWS and Dick Jauron is the HC.
  8. Special teams, running game, secondary...this roster is really just a QB, WR, DE, and OLB away from being a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Substitute Dick Jauron for a quality HC and Ralph Wilson for an owner who cares about keeping the Bills in Buffalo, and the fan misery would be so much lower.
  9. It sounds like all of your ties to Buffalo and WNY have withered away in favor of LA and SoCal, and really there's nothing wrong with that. It is what it is. So my question to you is: why not just become a Chargers fan?
  10. Anyone know the status of the Chargers? Doesn't their stadium lease expire this year?
  11. It's also a statement heavily supported in the fields of evolutionary biology, anthropology, sociology, and human psychology. And I'm speaking on a purely physical level here when I use the word "beauty."
  12. For an old woman, sure. But anyone who steps foot on a typical coed college campus would run into hundreds of women better looking than this adulterous hag. I don't feel too sorry for the doc. He obviously married this trophy wife for her looks and not for her winning personality. You get what you pay for, as beauty is a depreciating asset. Let this be a warning for all you young men who let your d!ck make your important life decisions.
  13. This post just gave me a massive erection. I don't like the age discrimination thrown at the man, and I certainly would never wish his death. However, he is certainly among the worst owners in pro sports history, and his absence in the NFL Hall of Fame is entirely justified.
  14. LMAO. Look at you, Mr. TBD internet tough guy. With sarcastic wit like that, it's no wonder I had you confused with the guy who began "Chroise."
  15. I'm pretty sure molson has never stepped foot on a college campus, let alone taken courses in economic theory. Just read what this monkey types whenever it's a thread on the economy.
  16. The nickname, "Chroise," was started by one of JP's groupies last year (Ramius?). It's a mildly funny play on Trent's "poise." I, too, can't wait to see any QB not named Losman this Sunday. Running a pro football offense these days is too complicated a task for a dumb jock QB like JP.
  17. It's more silly to threaten violence against other posters just because they have strong football opinions that differ from yours.
  18. Here's the Sopranos one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4oad6K9eOM And here's the American History X one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ4oPpiwkTM
  19. Let's be clear here so that others can put your random thoughts into the proper context of reality: there are no plans between the NFL and CFL to merge, the NFL has no interest in expanding into Montreal or Vancouver, Vancouver doesn't want the NFL because the CFL is very popular in Western Canada, Montreal doesn't really even want football, and it may not even be likely that Toronto gets an existing NFL franchise due to stadium issues and fan apathy issues and issues of Canadian government stepping in to protect the CFL. But good luck with that colonoscopy today. I refrained from a "head up your a$$" comment because I'm still a classy poster.
  20. My own opinion is that Trent's inexperience was taken advantage of by opposing defenses with coaching staffs more prepared than ours. Our offense never had any real answers to the 3-4 defense - particularly the "3" part - and it didn't help to have Trent's bailout WR, Reed, injured during the losing streak. Bottom line is this: our coaching staff is too afraid to occasionally throw deep and too clever for their own good to run the ball in obvious run situations.
  21. I'm not so sure about that one. The Arena Football League is rumored to be folding, and the CFL folks usually like their QB's to sustain drives.
  22. Bill, It's much more than just the on-field product. Bills fans, after all, are used to losing in all kinds of agonizing ways. It's been the franchise norm since 1966. Much of the anger stems from the very real possibility that the Bills will be in Toronto or L.A. by the start of the 2013 season. Losing the team has always been in the back of our collective minds since Ralph first threatened to move the Bills to Seattle if Rich/RWS wasn't built. But the Toronto series has now pushed this subconcious fear into the forefronts of our minds. While the anger does seem to get diffused toward everyone involved in the losing on-field product, make no mistake: people are fed up with Ralph Wilson. A man who only a few years ago TBD petitioned to get elected into the NFL HOF, is now being ripped apart by every other poster for being indifferent to the franchise's future in WNY. Justifiably so, in my opinion. Many of us can bear Wilson's excessive frugality and meddlesome personality when it comes to losing games, but when it comes to losing the TEAM? During last Sunday's Toronto "home game", our backs broke. Every home game starting now until the dreaded day the Bills relocate is now going to be a very drunken, angry, violent ordeal.
  23. Poz needs to go because he's not playing like Lawrence Taylor. Whitner needs to go because he's not playing like Ronnie Lott. Lynch needs to go because he's not playing like Thurmanator. La la la la la...look at me, I'm a TBD poster posting on both internets. I don't care about team continuity. I have the attention span of a 6 year old.
  24. Exactly. A dumb thread started by a dumb poster. Here's a question for you, tennydouche: if the moon were made of cheese, would you eat it?
  25. No, but... How about a 1-13 season? A 1-12-1 season? A consecutive pair of 2-14 seasons? A 2-12 season? A 3-13 season? 3-11? 3-10-1?
