  1. I hope you're right. I hope Shady can have big numbers for years to come. I'll be rooting for him.?
  2. Well said. It's so true, there is a world of expectation on that kid. Luckily, I think McDermott is just the right coach for him, as he's there every step of the way reminding him to work hard, focus on the process and not get carried away. I'm reminded about the post draft press conference where and interviewer asked McDermott something about how he was feeling about the "potential" of this team and you could see how uncomfortable that word made him. He said something along the lines, that potential is a fool man's gold. Hopefully that sort of attitude will keep internal noise down. I'm very optimistic with this leadership team. They've shown to have good judgement, disciplined in their vision and the ability to change when they get something wrong. I'm just going to enjoy the season for what it is knowing fully well that team leading the ship know what they are doing.
  3. It's great to hear that from Dawkins. It's absolutely the right attitude and I wish him the very best in training camp. One thing though I must state, is that I don't think McCoy has that selfless attitude. I don't mean to give him too much slack, especially now since he's been getting a bunch around here lately but I don't think he's a good leader. He's too concerned about his numbers, he's too unpredictable off the field, and he's too petty about things the little things (i.e. using social media to criticize his OL). That being said, I like McCoy and I believe that he will have a bounce back year but I don't think he should be voted a default captain. I think he's better suited focusing on his own game. It will be interesting to see who steps up as a leader this year. I'm not concerned, because I believe that leadership arises naturally given the circumstance.
  4. Jerry Hughes is one happy camper right now. QBs won't be able to step up into the pocket resulting in more sacks for him.
  5. This is actually a great question. Maybe it's because one is white and one is black? xD I kid... I have no idea but I imagine it has to do with projection. Scouts were saying with Allen that he has some of the best attributes they've ever seen in all the time they've spent scouting. That speaks rather highly if you ask me.
  6. They wanted a young guy in the room to groom for the future. To learn what it means to be a professional from Shady and Gore. This is a leadership development method that they truly believe in building the right culture.
  7. He's such a fun likeable guy. Can't help but smile watching this. He's going to bring a lot of energy to that locker room. Super excited about this pick!
  8. Yea, I miss him also. Unfortunately, without him NFL network is to much glitter and not enough substance. I had to switch to the ESPN feed.
  9. Commercial break before the Bills pick. So disrespectful ; ) Nobody circle the wagon like the Buffalo Bills
  10. Anybody has that NFL draft jingle? It's time!! Go Bills!
  11. While true, it does feel as there is not the same sizzle as last year's draft, draft time is super important to any franchise. We have to get this right and I'm confident in this regime to do so.
  12. I'm happy with he schedule. I personally also enjoy the routine of football Sunday. Go Bills!
  13. Love is a bit of an exaggeration. Like is more appropriate. ?
  14. Don't say that, I for one love the Packers and enjoy the conversation.
  15. Everyone just chill and be nice. The Bills, Packers and Browns have an unspoken bond.
  16. Awesome mock. Really liked the thinking behind the picks, made lots of sense.
  17. High level business meeting? Edit: just reading the comments now, you guys are too quick for me. Well played.
  18. For current and future GM's, we really appreciate when you write a short little blurb about your thinking behind your pick. This is fun.
  19. Fair enough, it's definitely a realistic pic. Raises an interesting scenario what would happen if the Cardinals don't take Murray- What teams would frenzy to move up and at what spot? But then again, no trades here.
  20. Are we sure he wanted this pick? He could of been just horsing around. Kind of important we get it right here.
  21. Punters are people too!
  22. This is just disappointing that Rodgers would act in this way. While his talent is undeniable, if not the best ever (statistically speaking), this irrational behaviour tarnishes my image of him (if true- which we can assume given all the evidence over the years). Blame can go all around but you expect your quarterback to be the leader of the team. You expect him to be proactive in solving problems and creating a good working environment. I guess the argument can be made that QBs are not always the leaders of the team, even though you'd hope they were. Makes you appreciate Tom Brady that much more. Half the physical talent of Rodgers but twice the leader. That's why Tom is considered the GOAT and Aaron Rodgers is "just" a really really good HOF quarterback. I'm hoping he can do some self reflecting and develop some humility and turn things around because he's an exceptional talent. Hopefully, Josh Allen can be the guy because fortunately, his intangibles are off the charts.
  23. If things go according to plan, we don't expect to be picking in the top 10 in the coming years. This has to be BPA.
  24. Haha. My quarterback is soo smart. Your quarterbacks are useless!! My quarterback is soo wonderful. Quarterback, quarterback, quarterback.
