Ravens on pace for fewest punts ever in a 16 game season

They've converted 13/17 of their 4th downs. 13 is the most converted in the NFL so far, and the highest rate at 76.5%. -
MNF: Once the best, now the worst show on TV
Aireskoi replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They should get this game back on ABC and get new announcers. I haven't watched MNF in years, I just listen to one of the teams radio broadcast online. -
They definitely wore grey face masks last week prepping for the Broncos.

I CAN'T WAIT til the Ravens come to Buffalo
Aireskoi replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Play keep away on offense, slow the game down and limit their possessions. Front 7 has to use their eye discipline, stay in rush lanes, and hit that QB every chance you get. Clay Matthews was completely owned in the RPO game because he went after the back instead of the QB, so don't do that. Contain the edge and let the interior of the line get him. Blast the QB if you're not sure where the ball is rather than the RB on the RPOs. White should be able to take away M. Brown, and we're not getting beat deep with Hyde and Poyer. I like that we have the LB's to run him down, the discipline to stay in gaps, and Josh on the other side with his own competitive fire. I don't think they can cover Beasley. -
“Just a phenomenal effort,’’ he (McDermott) said of Lawson’s game. “He brings a lot of energy to our team during the week. He’s one of those dogs in a good way. He likes to hunt and I love having him on our team. I think he’s one of our catalysts, a guy well respected for what he brings every day.’’ Said Hughes: “He forced his will today. That’s the Shaq we know.’’ https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2019/11/24/buffalo-bills-shaq-lawson-says-denver-broncos-talking-trash-sacks-contract-year-sean-mcdermott/4290903002/ also from article: “First of all, they were talking junk,’’ said Lawson after he pulled on a sweatshirt reading “Buffalo vs. Everybody.’’ “That’s my thing, I talk junk. You can’t out-junk me. I like that stuff. To start the game, I think it was No. 60 (center Connor McGovern), he goes ‘I haven’t remembered you since college.’ I said, ‘I bet I show you.’ ’’ I bet Lawson’s comeback line was a lot more colorful than that. You don’t start a war of one-liners with Rodney Dangerfield and get “I bet I show you.’’

I don't know who's the greatest, but I would draft Marshall Faulk over any of them in 2020's draft if they were all there on the board.

WGR-550 Dust-up Today: Schopp vs. Capaccio!
Aireskoi replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's a big reason it's tough to listen for me. He doesn't LOVE football, so he doesn't prepare to talk about football. He's a drive by media type of guy when it comes to football, he wants to talk about anything but the game. I believe he hates the average Bills fan, but respects the few that agree with him. I think it's part of the format for sports radio. News and topical talk early, homers (believers) for the work day, haters (doubters) for the drive home. That's the format I've noticed when I listen to other stations travelling or prepping for upcoming games. They choose to give all fans a voice maybe? Not sure but there is always a doubter on every channel. Doubters make believers love and defend the team even more, making the doubters hate on them even more. I know they have a job to do, they refer to it when things start to get too sticky...'Like this is our job, you don't understand"...I just wish they had someone who loved what they do and spent the time to prepare so they know the roster better than me, cared about preseason battles, love the growth of young players...etc. I think they could be better at their job if they cared more about the whole thing. They seem tired and bored with this gig, but nobody stops them. -
Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem
Aireskoi replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The game never felt right to me, it seemed like the plan was to throw for 300 yards and hit the deep ball a few times to show fans they could. I could be totally wrong about that, it's just a feeling I had watching. I didn't understand the timing of the deep balls, like on on 3rd down. Tough game to lose for some reason. I didn't like that the Browns RB's touched the ball 33 times (24 carries and 9 rec) vs. the Bills RB's only 17 touches (13 carries 4 rec). Singletary is listed as 7 targets with 3 catches for 8 yards, they need to take a hard look at that. -

I was hoping that run with the hit at the end would wake Josh up. He plays so tight to start games. -

2 PI in the end zone with 0 points is the ultimate bend but don't break. -
Let the kickers have it, the can kick for it like the McDonald's commercial.

Aireskoi replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree that he has not done anything special, and I don't believe anyone is saying that. How many years would 9 wins have been enough, but the coaches were not "lucky" with the cards? You can call it luck, others could say McD is the right man at the right time. Maybe he's just a lucky guy? ? -
What "type" of fan are you? Coming clean

The keys were playoffs and Bills, I didn't look past that.? -

I'm a fan of football. I love the game itself, and I love it more when the Bills win. I want players that I can root for, guys that McDermott to wants to have. Long term winning isn't built overnight. They're building a core that can grow and tech new comers the right way in the future. Maybe the guys we have won't all still be here if/when the win a championship, but the teaching of their way from player to player will be the scaffolding. Now, do you give every coach and GM the time and patience like that? Is every good guy also going to be a winner? No, but you can look for a sign...
