Wk 14 Postgame Thread Bills lose to Ravens 24-17
Aireskoi replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bully teams like the Ravens made me want Trent Williams. I hope we can build the toughness on O with the talent in FA and the next draft. Good learning game for the youngsters, the Ravens played at a playoff level on defense. Both teams did. Offense has to find answers for this pressure because it's on film now. Defense continues to impress, not happy about that blown coverage TD, but they really did a nice job otherwise. -
What % do you think we have a chance of winning?
Aireskoi replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
60% I would be at 50% but we had the extra 3 days to work on their scheme, so I added 10%. A short week would have made it tough, so this has to be some advantage. -

I would think football-brown sleeves and gloves for a RPO QB and HB would be an advantage for them. Paint a football in the belly of the team jerseys as a decoy? ........maybe not. To the people saying things to the effect of "these days you should know better" , I want to remind you that we are these days. Does it offend you? I mean really? I don't see how it could, so stick up for his right to speak what he sees or we're all in trouble. Shape and color create reality, we need to keep some things true. -
I would make sure he's hit on every play, have the LE go hit him when the RT lets him crash down. Ryan Clark had to deal with RG3 when he was unstoppable...Here's his advise from 2013: “Our goal was to be physical with him at any opportunity we had, and I think it affected his play,” Clark said. It surely did. Griffin had only 177 yards passing, and he gained only eight yards on six carries. The Steelers’ approach included Clark applying a big, high hit to Griffin as he ran a pass route on a gadget play. “We were focused on being physical with him,” Clark said. “When they ran the read-option, he was the guy we were focused on. [We] had James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley on him at every chance and every opportunity that we got, just so he knew every play, he was gonna be hit.”

Top 4 passing QB - No winning records

Want 300+ yards out of Josh? That's easy IMO. Take Tre' White off the field. He's to blame. This team is not going to throw it all over when they have the win secured. Take White off the field and lets have some shootouts. We may not win them, but for fun.? Otherwise why bother worrying about stats, this defense has the other teams locked down. It's not Josh's fault. -
Roll call for officiating conspiracy believers

Of course the refs would have the opportunity to make or not make calls as they are directed. There is a formula as far as what a penalty does to the odds of scoring on any given drive... There is also a mic in their ears from NY to be sure they get things "right". I guess we could wait for an official to slip up in an interview...oops, they aren't allowed to do those.? -

It doesn't really matter what we believe. The NFL is not a sport, it's entertainment. They stated that in court. It's not 32 teams, it's 1 business. They are completely in their rights to "fix" outcomes, no different than wrestling. Do they? I don't know but damn there are some strange coincidences when you look at it closely. To me it says something that the NFL will not get directly involved in gambling (although the ties can't be denied). They focus our attention on the player performance side when it comes to that. Tons of money exchanged in FF and they don't run from that like gambling on outcomes. -
Would You Trade Baker Mayfield for Josh Allen at This Point?
Aireskoi replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I waited until the 2018 draft was almost here before I decided. I heard Phil Simms talk about Josh on Sirius, and from that day he's the only one I wanted. He was confident Josh was the right fit for us, it just made sense hearing it from a QB that played in the windy cold NE. Nothing has changed at any point for me, I felt like I had the cheat sheet for the test with him. None of this surprises me about Allen except what a great leader he is already and just how tough he is. -
We deserved yesterday. Now let's get back to 1 PM games and grind out a few more of these wins. Sean McDermott seemed to be talking to future FA's when he gave his presser. It should be no problem getting the players they want now. Buffalo grows players now, they get a shot to be the best version of themselves here.? We have some smart football people running things. So many random good thoughts flowing like a stream...This team is so clutch.

The no call for roughness on Josh's run when he slid, but giving Jerry Hughes one for the 1/2 tackle on Dak's attempt for more yards. Nice work zebras.
