  1. Whichever QB Cleveland utsxwoukd be an instant upgrade over Trubisky
  2. Haven't they done this the last two years?
  3. Since 2005 West coast teams playing in EST win rate is 43%.
  4. If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound? If Gilliam is cut would it make any difference?
  5. I honestly can't remember. I usually buy it early but I can't remember if I already did. I will have to check. Like others it's not a great deal. 6 national TV games, probably another 1 or 2 that will be broadcast nationally, and I will go to 2-3. Maybe if I haven't purchased yet I may talk myself out of it....
  6. Josh needs to really start well and not turn the ball over. This should be a lay up win at home with a west coast team coming to play an early EST game. If this is even close the Bills are really worse than we thought. McD silences the critics for at least one week... Bills 42- Cards 17
  7. This or Huntley. Trade a 6th and get back either QB and a 7th.
  8. Anyone please defend why they needed this game… About all they learned was a bubble backup LB is not good enough for the 53. Other than that nothing to be gained Cut the preseason to one game and play an 18 game season
  9. Wonder if McDermott is "very concerned" yet....
  10. Not really. KC gifted us a goal line turn over. The game wasn't nearly as close as it ended up being
  11. Are you talking about Edmunds? Lol
  12. Too small, too slow, he had his 5 minutes of Fame. PS here you come
  13. He's a lock. He may be the best pure pass rusher on the team unless Miller bounces back. Rousseau is the best all around DE. My feelings on Epenesa are well known. Curious what others think but Solomon could be this team's version of Lorenzo Alexander. Undersized pass rushing specialist.
  14. He should have been given a chance to start day 1. The best starting five combination are Dawkins, McGovern, Van Pran, Torrence, and Brown. That's an upgrade at LG and probably no drop off at C. The kid started 3 years at Georgia. He's had more meaningful snaps against Pro-level competition at C than McGovern ever has.
  15. They have no hope of winning this year. The entire season is just prep work for next year and to see if Young can be the QB. They have 17 games to figure out who stays for next year.
  16. Some team's third string guy will be better than Trubisky. Both the Browns 3rd and 4th string guys are better than Trubisky.
  17. Jets have questions at QB and OL Bills at WR and multiple levels of the defense but have the best QB Miami has serious issues on defense and their two best players Tua and Hill get nicked up every year Pats will be lucky to win four games and probably will go 0-6 in the division. Allen wills Bills to another division title
  18. For those of us including myself that were wanting Beane to draft this kid on day two, he is not doing much in camp for the Broncos. https://www.oregonlive.com/nfl/2024/08/troy-franklin-could-be-facing-a-redshirt-year-with-the-denver-broncos-in-2024.html Maybe these GMs do know more than me....lol!!!
  19. World War II was a must win!
  20. And he's probably best remembered now for missing a 38 FG in Vikings NFC Championship game...
  21. Ok the words crucial and preseason have never and should never be used in the same sentence...
  22. All this makes sense if you keep Diggs. Once they traded Diggs what else is the fan base supposed to think? There are only two options at that point. Beane has thrown in the towel for 2024 or Coleman has to produce his rookie year. You can't blame the fans for having high expectations when the GM trades away one of the best WRs in franchise history. Trading down and taking Coleman only makes sense if you keep Diggs. If Beane had any thought he was going to trade Diggs he should have done it on draft day and either moved up in the draft or taken two WRs in rounds 1-3.
  23. Interesting suggestion. If you were going to do that it should have been a few weeks ago. In a perfect world, Brown would get a nice raise but not get paid top dollar. However there is usually some team that has cap to burn and overpays. See Jax and Davis.
  24. Excellent post. I forgot about the PS call up option. I'd opt for #4, but I think #2 may be what happens.
