I've never seen a QB wear a glove as big as Allen's. Have to wonder how bad the hand actually is. Also why tape the two fingers together? -

To be fair they stopped themselves. Will take it but if the receiver was looking it would have been a complete pass. -

7 yard run up and out of the end zone 4 yard run up and he hits it short and they return it -
NFL gives out signing bonus money instead. NBA and MLB deals are fully guaranteed but there is no up front money. That's why guys want new deals in the NFL. That's where they get actual money paid. The late years in a NFL contract are usually funny numbers that will never be paid and just used to decrease the annual cap hit of the deal.

I love me some Jerry Butler. He was on the verge of a significant career rebirth with Kelly. And then he breaks his leg against the Dolphins on a TD catch. So sad. On the other side Perry Tuttle was supposed to be great and he may have been one of the biggest draft busts in franchise history. Gabe Davis would be jealous of Tuttle's ability to drop the ball.

Nope I read they got rid of this emblem moslty because it was simply too hard to reproduce on hats/shirts and other apparel.

Excellent post. Obviously when comparing these great football players you have to look at the stats in many different ways. The holdback for Reed would be his era but he made up for it with his longevity. Charles Johnson played far fewer seasons but no one would say Reed was better than Megatron. So you have to extrapolate a bit. What if Diggs played 4 more years with Allen? What if Moulds had a better QB? My only quibble with your post is Rice was in a category all to himself with the second tier being a healthy converstion amongst Reed, Irvin, Brown, Rison, Clark, Monk, Sharpe, Carter, and several others.

Rousseau named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Who was? -
Looked to me like Bills OTs were lined up correctly all game. So if the NFL meant to send a message game 1, the Bills adjusted accordingly

Rousseau named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Well deserved! He's a beast. Stay healthy. Hope Miller and Solomon can offer enough pass rush from the other side to still give Rousseau 1:1 matchups. -
This was not a coaching fail. It started with a missed illegal block in the back. Then it was was execution fail. Three guys - Gilliam, Elam, and Davis all had a chance to make the tackle and they all missed. I guess you could argue why is Elam on kickoff since tackling is his weakness. I would of course counter, why is Gilliam even on the roster. Bills almost lost and you can point blame to three roster bottom feeders that didn't execute. Kick it out of the endzone every time.

Andre Reed was great but Diggs is a better WR. Andre never even had back to back 1000 yard seasons. I know different era. You can even make an argument Moulds was better than both of them but just had terrible QBs. Could you imagine Moulds with Allen???

Game management strategy & “The big miss”
Ethan in Cleveland replied to WIDE LEFT's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ok. So are you advocating for a squib then? Correct me if I'm wrong but the squib is not the same as it has been in the past. The ball must land in the land zone so it's not really a squib anymore and as you saw when he tried it they got the ball at the 40. I'd argue it'ds probably much harder to try and kick it low and land in the landing zone than it is to kick it low and deep. I guess my point was this was not a strategy fail, it was an execution fail. That too!
