Shakir should be getting double the snaps of these other two. He doesn't have elite speed but he seems quick enough to get open in the short underneath zones. He should get numerous targets with Knox out and Kincaid forced to play traditional TE role.

If Allen didn't play like garbage against the Jets and Pats they are 6-1 Team game. Lots of blame to go around. We should expect that Allen can and should play better. The defense probably not barring a trade. The only hope on defense is that Oliver and Miller can get healthy and Williams can learn to play LB quickly. And that still leaves them decimated.

Actually it does. According to what I read if he is blocking someone at the LOS and the act of blocking takes him downfield it is not a penalty. Regardless he wasn't blocking anyone and it was and should have been a penalty.

This is so poorly written. Nobody blames Allen for everything and half this board does not hate Allen. Take off your Allen rose colored glasses though. He played poorly again. They should not have even been trailing in that game. None of that excuses the defense and this loser HC. Remember when everyone blamed Frazier? We all said now there is no one else to blame when the defense collapses.

If they need a LB then it is another indictment of McDumbass. He has had Dodson for two years and should know he sucks by now. We have a LB on the roster named Matakevich that can't play the position. If they let Dodson or Williams play teams then they can dress Klein. God I hate this coach. I tried so hard to give him the benefit of the doubt this year. Just let Williams play and learn on the job. Put anyone better than Settle out there and then get Oliver back on the field and the linebackers will be fine. No one is going to trade a quality OT. Oline help will need to wait until the draft. You can get a WR and probably a CB. I don't think they need a CB though. Focus on a WR and or a DT

We want him to run but all he has to do is dump it off to get easy yards. Let someone else take the hits. Several drive killing bad throws or reads. And then even the heroic ones were off. He scrambles right and makes an incredible effort to get the ball to Davis in the endzone. 6 inches lower and Davis makes that catch. The miss to Diggs deep was one of his worst passes in several years. It wasn't even close and Diggs never even broke stride. Allen is our only hope to overcome McDermott but he is regressing this season. Is that Dorsey not showing him how to take the underneath stuff. Did anyone ever criticize Joe Montana for a six yard completion to Roger Craig? Those dump offs didn't seem to hurt Rice's career.

There is no such thing as buyers or sellers in NFL at the trade deadline. That is a MLB, NBA, and perhaps NHL thing.

Who cares what he says at the podium. The only time it mattered was when he said "very concerned" about Diggs. Everything else is nonsense.

Mid-season all you can do is demote Dorsey and let someone else call the plays. In the off season I think even without making the playoffs there is little to no chance Pegula fires McDermott. Only a revolt by Allen could make it happen. McDermott had built in excuse for failure last year and now this year. We are stuck with him through the end of 2024. Only then can we move on to someone else.

I'm down on Knox too but losing him is a huge blow. People who think we will be better are crazy. Knox is the most athletic TE the Bills have probably ever had. Kincaid is in no way capable of being TE#1 now and maybe never. That said this is an opportunity to go air raid and just use the run to keep teams honest. If they want to run they will need to use Bates as a blocking TE.

It's not the personnel grouping it is how it is being used. That said Allen missed a wide open Kincaid down the sideline that was probably set up by all the short out patterns he runs. The team is broken in so many ways. A simple formation change won't matter. We just haven't endure until McD is gone in 2025.
