Bills now have the 6th youngest starting lineup in the NFL...
Ethan in Cleveland replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Milano and Miller were starters game 1 my guess is they would be much lower on the list. Not that any of this matters. Being younger doesn't mean better. If you want to be negative thinking about it, how in the hell are the Bills in cap hell with the 6th youngest roster? Oh yeah highest dead cap in NFL history. -
Long-term future of the Bills defensive backfield?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Douglas looks like the real deal. True #1 CB. I'd sign him to a 3 year extention Benford is nothing special. I'd treat him like they did Wallace and Jackson. Use them while cheap and then move on. I have no idea what to do with Elam. Probably has no trade value. Probably better to keep him as primary back up next year. Johnson is the nickel for the next 2 years Bishop hopefully will be starting soon. Would be a terrible 2nd round miss again if he is not playing soon. Drafting another kid round safety would not be unreasonable next year as Rapp, Hamlin, and Edwards are just capable starters and not worth long term investment. -

I don't disagree with what you are saying. I would just comment that losing a close game to an inferior opponent (Jets, Jags, Broncos, Pats) last year doesn't mean they were prepared for those games just because it was a close loss. I'd argue even a close win against a bad Giants team was bad coaching. But as you said, this happens to all teams and all coaches. They just can't afford to come out flat on national TV against an 0-2 opponent that is desperate for a win. -

Just feels like this is one of those barometer games for McDermott Even his biggest proponents would have to admit there are games where he just hasn't had the team ready to play. Even his biggest critics (me) also must admit he gets the team to rise to the challenge like last years run. Allen gets no pass here either. He's had some dreadful games too like Jets and Denver last year. With the upcoming stretch of road games, really need a solid win this week. -

He almost beat KC on the road in the playoffs. Then played the following year injured with a bad shoulder. Cleveland was in a tough spot. He had done ok but certainly not well enough to get a huge extension. I don't fault them from moving on. If he was willing to take a 1 or 2 year prove it deal then he'd probably still be in Cleveland -
Non Bill, unheralded, under the radar favorite player.

Larry Allen Madden once said he was watching 3 players in the same game that he thought we're the best of all time at their positions - Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, and Larry Allen I know he is a HOF player but he was a guard. So perhaps that is close enough to unheralded -
Herbert has had terrible coaching. Can't argue with his resume but the question is not who has been the best QB it is who are the best QBs now. With Harbaugh dude is going to be a star. I've defended Jackson for several years on here. He is not the #2 QB in the league despite the MVPs but he is far better than most on here rate him. For the record if Burrow didn't have the wrist issue he would be my #3. We should ask this question again in a month. #1 and 2 may flip if Josh keeps playing clean. And 3-10 may be very different

Herbert is my #3 right now. Burrow #4 Stroud #5 Prescott #6 Jackson#7 I can't judge Purdy in that system Are Mayfield and Murray in the conversation for lower end of top 10???

Good thread Even before I moved out west, the Seahawks were one of my favorite teams when they played in the AFC West. Always liked Dave Kreig. Guy played 19 years. -

More Impressive 2-0 Start: Bills or Chiefs?

I love this place Before the Miami game how many posts were there that Tua was overrated and that Miami projected to win the AFC East was a joke. Then when Bills beat them, and you see son many posts in here that Bills beat a good to great Miami team on the road... -

I was at the playoff loss in Jax. If Shady had been healthy they would have won. TT played one of his worst games. Didn't even do much with his legs. Missed a wide open TD late in the game. -
Omg...take the tin foil hat off That wasn't a hail Mary That was obvious DPI
-
Seriously . Just wait one more sec and hit the ball when it gets there
-
Cmon man. He clobbered him from behind. If that was Coleman trying to catch that ball you would think it was a PI
-
Watch the play before you start going into conspiracy mode
-
He got there early...terrible play Hate only rushing 3 there
-
Wow I've seen far worse not called
-
It was a bad throw
-
Oh man that was almost a pick
-
It was a pretty sweet call. Looked like he was going to double Chase. They sent an overload blitz and the double team probably made Burrow look to the left first.

Game over
